  If my (very limited) interpretation of technology is correct, there is more information in 16 bits per channel and so probably a richer quality image. The general principle of course I prefer not to lose any wealth. Is it possible I can get Photoshop to give me access to the Gallery of filters in a 16 bit per channel mode?

  While the ants marchimg shows the layer limits what you write the entire document. Only the pixels of the target layer are selected.

  OK, finally solved.

  I uninstalled what is called "Windows Live ID Sign - in Assistant", as well as the usual games of .NET, MS for Windows - LIVE and games for Windows Marketplace Client, then ran a registry cleaner (I used CCleaner, which is free) and restarted.

  I then reinstalled GWL from MS. site

  I hope this helps someone else.

• Why the filters in PS CC Gallery has stop working?

  Filters in my Photoshop CC Gallery, out of the blue, stop working. Filters all appear and if you ask the blue progress bar appear in the normal way, but nothing is applied in preview or in the file if I hit OK. Looking through the help files, I found that Wacom tablets can cause problems and a special plug-in is the recommended fix. I use an Intuos 3 tablet, so I installed the plugin, but that has not changed anything. Now, I'm stumped. Someone knows why this happens?

  See if, perhaps, the filters are disabled in the Gallery of filters.

  There should be an eye next to the filters that are active.

  I can't for the life of figure me out how to turn on duplex printing of the print booklet on my Mac command. If I move the files a PC, I can make it work.

  From the PC, I'll print booklet-> Configuration printer-> Configuration-> click on the Preferences button and finally I am in the printing tab shortcuts to turn on both sides (duplex) printing. This works.

  But on a Mac I'm going to print booklet-> Print Settings-> Configuration-> printer choose layout, then the duplex option is grayed out.

  As I build the product book on my Mac, I have to be able to do the entire workflow of Mac.

  I'm in InDesign CC on machines and printing on a HP Color Laserjet 5550 PCL 5.

  It may seem a problem of driver on the Mac, but I don't know what else to try.

  The answer to my original question was this:

  Print settings on the Mac, I had not checked on the duplex unit, printing, from the hand. It was not accessible form print menus, I had to go to the mac system preferences.

  The error message real probably said that you should disable the GPU because your video card has a problem.  But, of course, we should know more if you could post the exact wording of the error message.

  Using 2 different GPU simultaneously tends to cause problems for the drivers.  For the system with a low end GPU integrated, it is best to disable this GPU in the GPU or BIOS driver.

  In addition, your drivers are from March 2012 - hardly current.

  Also weird is that AMD and Intel GPU related the same driver version - which means that there is a problem with the drivers on your system.
