Weird behavior of Firefox in Facebook when scrolling down
Hello
My Firefox has a weird behavior when I open Facebook and start to scroll, I have attached two images, first image is when I open facebook, everything is ok (I dimmed the contacts), second image is when I start scrolling down, you will see square masive black with blue navigation. That happens only when firefox is "enlarged" and not with windows. I also try to disable all addons or run firefox in safe mode I have also reinstalled it and the problem is still there. Have any suggestions, which could be bad, also if forgot to tell you that any information not hesitate to ask and I will it provide.
Hello
Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:
- Click the menu button
click Help
then select restart with disabled modules.
If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:
- On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
- On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."
If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

I'll assume that it is the redirection of one. Disable as follows:
the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > advanced
In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck "warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page.

Why I have to hold keys down so long to make them work?
My keys must be held down for approximately 2 seconds for them to work. Any help is appreciated greatly. Danny
Hello
A few questions to better understand.
1 does happen with all the keys?
2 are the keys hard enough to be held down for approximately 2 seconds for them to work?
3. If it works well before?
4 you did changes to the computer before the show?
Step 1: Let us try typing using keyboard on the screen to find out if the problem is with the software or the keyboard.
Reference:
Type without using the keyboard (on-screen keyboard):
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/type-without-using-the-keyboard-on-screen-keyboard
Step 2: You can also try the keyboard on another computer and see if it works there.
Step 3: Try again with a different keyboard on the same computer and see if it works.
Answer with the results of the steps mentioned above for you help.

I am running OS X Yosemite with creative cloud. I ran a patch system today with the IND, AI and PSD update. I have the following problems before and after the system and application upates:
- When opening some HAVE, in the drop-down menu where you select the type of file/size (e.g. print, video, etc.), when I click on the arrow down to expand the dropdown menu, wildly, he travels all options without stopping, and does not allow me to choose an element, even if I try to use text or upper and down arrows on my keyboard.
- In Firefox, I tried to go to the Adobe forums. When it was time to select the drop down menu to what is the app that I wanted, same problem: uncontrolled scrolling and unable to select an item by using arrows or text input.
- In IND:
- Command + 0 or + 1 command do not work: instead the page of document is moved to the left of the screen so that some of the page is removed from the view. This cannot be corrected by using the scroll bar: no matter what I do, the page view bounces on this position.
- Find and replace: does not. Same issues with menu drop down as mentioned earlier for Amnesty International and FireFox.
- When you try to use the trackpad, sometimes the document scrolls upwards or downwards without having me any control over it.
- The creative cloud app: 80% of the time, I can't get it to open. Sometimes, it does.
- I rebooted, disconnected my external keyboard and monitor, replace the batteries of my mouse and put to update all software.
DEFECTIVE MOUSE! UGH!

In other words, I want to be able to change the default value from the scroll position of "high" to "low" or customize it to "somewhere between the two," so that I don't have to scroll down before the reading of each new e-mail message.
Have you tried the Firefox zoom feature? Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages
You can "zoom in" all sites using this add-on: NoSquint. After setting your overall zoom level, you can still adjust the zoom on different sites.
After the installation of NoSquint, click on the % in the bar of the add-on call site preferences, then click the global settings button, then the zoom tab.If you do not have the bar the module displayed, you can click the new tab button ("+") or a box empty bar tab to the right of the item and choose the module bar on the shortcut menu.
You can experiment with sizes greater than 125%, but I wouldn't not much higher than 150% unless you have a large screen high resolution.
If there are sites that are still a concern, feel free to post their URLs.
You can find more information about the features of zoom Firefox offer in these articles:
Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages - to zoom text only
Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages - to zoom the entire page (including images etc.)

Recently, whenever I run Firefox, an arrow appears, pointing down and quickly disappears to the top of the screen. I'm not trying to download something, it is whenever I run Firefox. At first I thought I was seeing things, but verified by concentrating just to catch, it appear and disappear. See no reason for this. I use Firefox for years and it's never happened before. Furthermore, it does not appear on my IE browser.
Never mind. I found the problem and it was a program that was trying to download it, but couldn't all the time. I removed from the Firefox download page.
Status: solved!

When I click on a new tab, I had small screenshots of my last visits. now, I have a power of search engine Bing, which I don't want. Why FIREFOX change that and force the shit out of me that I don't like or want.
Here is the link that is display:
http://search.conduit.com/?q= & ctid = CT3324775 & gd = & SearchSource = 69 & Searchtypes = SearchWeb & UP = SP6D16A319 - 2A 35 - 4B7D - 92D0 - CE51D47CADB4 & isid = ME0675196-326 - 40 1-9EE1-540D6679382F & UM = 5Now I would like to be the one to choice what I want and how to configure it, I don't need a browser to make that choice for me, if it continues I'll go to safari or opera. Thank you
Firefox didn't do. At some point, you may have added an add-on or installed
a program and the installer has changed things on you. Mouse in the search window.
On the left, click the icon. Look for and click on Manage search engines. Put everything
upward as you wish.
If something prevents you from working on it;
Download the Mozilla search reset
This module is very simple: installation, it backs up and then resets
your search and homepage to their default values, preferences
and then to uninstall. This affects the search bar, the URL bar
research and the homepage.
Look through your list of modules and make sure you know what each of them is
and so. In addition,
Windows > start > Control Panel > uninstall programs.
Go through the list and a web search to check that you have not
know what they are. -
When I open the file Downlad box in Firefox (v28) and asks me to select a file to download... as I click to scroll down the download file box things work well... then all of a sudden things scroll down (fast) at the bottom of the download file by itself.
How can I stop this from happening?
Thank you
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

13 Firefox is the browser by default on my desktop and laptop, however, they have different menu systems. Why?
On my desk, I have the old menu system that I prefer no doubt because everything is in English and easy to see and search. For example, on the menu desktop there a Tools option where I can quickly erase my history and cache.
But on my laptop, it's the new paradigm where several menu commands are hidden and difficult to find, therefore, I do not like this new design. I don't understand why Firefox made this change, when the old system was much better and more effective.
Is there a way I can get the old system menu back on my laptop?
Thank you
1. I'm not running XP, I use Win 7 on both systems.
2. nothing happened when I pressed the ALT key, the menu bar does not show upward and I'm frustrated. However, I kept trying, hold the ALT key and finally he appeared. I then checked the menu bar, and it seems as if it worked.
Thanks for your help.
