Two reason I can think
(1) statistics are not collected or are at a standstill.
(2) oracle considers the hash join full table scan more appropriate than the nested loop + scan small index.
Post your explain plain and let us know stats is collected or not.
In addition, let us know what is the percentage of rows are expected in output compared to the total number of lines.

The question is if sequential readings of db file submitted by a FULL SCAN operation will be cached on LRU or MRU list?
I'm afraid the flushes of heat/floods the buffer cache with a lot of FULL SCAN db file sequential reads.
For which direct path series reason readings will be inapplicable, so using this new feature of 11g is out of scope for this question.

There are a few different patterns of behavior depends on the size of the table (relative to the size of the buffer cache), but the key question is probably "readings will increment the counter of touch" - because if they are not the blocks will fall the LRU list fairly quickly, if they do then the blocks could (after a few tablescans) eventually be promoted in half hot from the cache.
I did some quick tests (that requires a little care in the Installer) which suggest the number touch was not incremented has therefore not had any effect on the question of if the block would get preferential treatment when they have reached the end of the LRU.
I'm a little puzzled by your expression: "cached on LRU or MRU list" - it's not two different lists; but people talk about "the end of the MRU of the LRU list.

Why slow DML in Index organized tables
I learned that ITO system was not suitable for tables that have a high volume of DML operations.
I want to know that:
1.) why DML operations are slow when we have data and indexes in the same place for ITO?
2.) why we take extra precautions for fragmentation to ITO that pile of paintings organized?It's as long as your application does not change for the PK values that inspire you the IOT.
If you have an application that actually modifies the values of primary key - Ouch!
Here's how to think this through:
Think of an Index on a column usually.
What happens when you update the value of this column for a line or set of lines?
The update to the line goes into the table block (and if the line does not expand or PCTFREE is adequate, there is no chaining line)
However, the update of the index entry is not just an update. Because an Index is a Structure y (unlike a heap table), in order to change the value of an Index key (even when not unique), you have to 'remove' of the 'location' (IE block) he currently resides to and "insert" in the new "place" (block) corresponding to the new value. So, for example, if change 'Aman' (probably at the head of the Index tree) to "Hemant" (somewhere in the middle), you will find that "Hemant" belongs to another block - so that the index of "Aman" entry should be removed and a new entry for "Hemant" (pointing to the same ROWID) inserted in the correct index leaf block where 'Hemant' belongs.Now, instead of an Index on a single column, think an whole table-ITO is an ordered structure. If you change the value of the key to the order (ie the Index key) then the line should be moved to the correct location that he must belong.
As it is, it is very bad design to change the values for the PK building. an IOT in such a severely design adds to the problem. Now, instead of simply delete and insert for the column values, the entire row should be deleted and inserted.
However, if you do not change the values of the PK, then you should not have problems with updates. However, if the size of the line is large (or increases with updates), you will need to handle the overflow.

I stuck in a table from Word in Dreamweaver and even if all the table code was written, Dreamweaver put < p > tags around all the content of the data cell and he also added valign = "top".

elements to 0 or all that is appropriate, within this particular table.
Once you have the code as you like, then copy and paste into your web page document.

Can you attribute programmatically size when you use the table in the Cluster service cluster
I use the table of the Cluster service. The only way I know to the size of the cluster is to right click on the function and set the Cluster size. But what happens if the length of my table changes? Is there a way to make the cluster size is the number of elements in the table? Seems like labview should do this automatically at run time. There may be some nodes of property I don't know.
I tried the SQL statements, but it always boils down to having to know the number of columns is in the database prior to execution.
What I did to generate the object to be a cluster to match database fields. My recordset is an array of objects. Then I a vi member to build a recordset from the database and another Member vi to retrieve an array of clusters of the recordset object. If the database changes, I have to change the subject and these two vi. All the other Subvi call these two for the manipulation of data. No other sub - VI have bundle and ungroup functions in them, only the vi of two members. Thus a change in the database requires a change of control and two vi. Not too bad.
(I'm tooting my Horn in choosing me as accetped solution provider. I learned this bad habit of others here on the forum.

VijayThe "ANALYZE" command is obsolete and to be used only for specific purposes (for example, the keyword VALIDATE or to count the number of chained rows).
The DBMS_STATS package with its set of procedures replaces that command. These procedures, as well as the automated job/tasks already configured in 10 g and 11 g, should be used to collect optimizer statistics. Essentially of statistics on the nature of the data that is present. The SQL optimizer then uses these statistics to determine an execution plan to retrieve the data requested by the user/application.

However, I know that's not possible. The button table of contents is generated only generated at run time and has not yet been exposed to the Skin Editor TOC UI.
