Why help exit Eclipse produces several eclipse_whtdata.xml files?

I have a project in Robohelp 9 (created with RoboHelp HTML 9.0.2).

I choose to export as an Eclipse help (it's almost the same as webhelp).

Our Chief technician integrates my output using Eclipse files exported in the Eclipse IDE help

as a separate book. The user can expand our parent book in several books and shows the topics.

The topics in this project are about 300.

Our question:

How we can put in place our project files or book in Robohelp which will generate a single Eclipse whtdata file which will include all table of contents entries.

Our problem:

The project generates several (currently 6) eclipse_whtdata files.

It generates a file toc.xml with a child < section > element that points to a file of whtdata eclipse as follows: < toc link = "eclipse_whtdata1.xml" >

The eclipse_whtdata1.xml has labels of table of contents and links to topics.

In the eclipse_whtdata1.xml file, there are 5 cases of labels of table of contents and links that point to other files eclipse_whtdata.

So we get 6 eclipse_whtdata.xml files, numbered from 1 to 6. Links folder number 1 to the files numbered from 2 to 6.

I tried to identify a model, and I see no difference in the way books are set up in the Robohelp project and no difference in the way the subjects are related to books, etc. I even deleted a few books and recreated them.

The Robohelp project has a parent book, with a related subject.

This topic contains links to all the first level child books and some autonomous subjects.

Each book of the child has a topic with links to all his books child or the children.

No errors are displayed in the output on the generation.

Thanks for any help or pointers, you can provide.

Cynthia

Hi Cynthia

When you look in RoboHelp at the single Source Layouts pod, think of it in the same way you would think of a box to recipes in your kitchen. Inside of the box recipes are often the recipe cards that contain the settings for each dish, you can create. If each of the elements inside the carrycot single Source Layouts is equivalent to using a recipe card. The map contains all the parameters that govern the way in which this specific output is created.

As you work your way through the different areas of settings, one is usually labeled Navigation. And in this area is a labeled frame Speed of Optimize For.

The setting here determines whether the navigation elements are spllit into small pieces or left in a larger file. Try making sure that the option here is set for the Local or Intranet computer.

Just give it a try and see if it helps... Rick

    OPA to use BI Publisher to output PDF or PDF/A files at the end of an interview is a piece of cake.  In the Office of BI Publisher there are options for the use of the model output in several different file formats, but I have not seen a way to do it in the OPA.  The new button in the OPA in the Forms tab only generates a RTF.

    Try to add a fault handler and see if that goes off. Also, since you are
    use HTTPService rather than URLLoader, you should know that this will probably not
    already worked for your development environment, unless you have either changed the
    Directory of output to go on the server or you have changed some compiler flags
    to allow you to get local and access to the network at the same time. That's why
    I always use URLLoader to load XML files to relative path... it just
    works without my need to change anything.

  • Loading an xml to an XML file

    I'm trying to load a xml from an XML file, but I'm having problems. My first xml file is very simple - it contains only an attribute with the name of another file xml in it (eventually I'll have several here xml files and loop through them... that is why I want to load an XML to an xml file).

    Currently, with the code below, I can get the main xml file to load ("main.xml"), but I can't get the secondary xml files to load from the main.xml.

    I want to get childNode values in the secondary xml file, then use them in my .swf in the areas of text and whatnot.

    Any guidance? I think I'm wrong on the line where I say "i.newxml.load (i.attributes.location);"

    3. validate the data

    I don't know what is the best way to go about this problem in a productive way, using everything that's out there.

    Any help would be appreciated.  (the xml file is included)

    Netpagino

    I don't know exactly what you mean by "validation of the data in an XML file.  At first glance, I interpreted your request that means you have to check that the XML file is well-formed,... that is to say, according to the DTD or schema.  But on re-reading your post, I'm not sure.

    Of course, you want to use full construction CF XML processing and querying capabilities.  (You want to use an XPath search to find the nodes, for example...)  As for the later task then check the data contained in these nodes against various business rules, well, who would take more thought.  But remember (a) that it is very much ground (so "do not re-invent the wheel"), and (b) you have all Java at your disposal if you need it.

  • With the help of several xml files to complete the 1 form.

    Hi all

    Thank you for reading this.

    My scenario is that I have a form which is the inspection report for a product.

    Once the technician has completed its inspection they fill out the form and send it (which saves the form as xml data in a specific folder on our network.

    Now 1 customer may have up to 10 items to be inspected on a single order. What I have to do is to create a customer report showing them the necessary work on their items.

    Basically, I need to be able to import up to 10 xml files of inspection report in 1 report form.

    I was looking for this with the authorities, but I'm wrong.

    I can get 1 data file imported by using xfa.host.importdata("filename")

    but this method seems to reset the form after the first call to the second instance of the form in the form of report receives all the data. (if this makes no sense at all)

    How can I configure my report form so I can fill different instances of the subform from different xml files?

    that is my xml files names are formatted with call number and line number, e.g. 42E11134 - 5.xml would call no. 42E11134 line 5.

    the folder on the network would have to be 42E11134-10 42E11134-1 (not superior because we cap the maximum points on the same order)

    I need to figurentsur instance subform 1, 42E11134-5 42E11134-1 data displayed on the subform instance 5 etc etc and also recognition of the number of necessary instances (but this could be selected by the user).

    If the authorities do not work I am happy to have 10 separate subforms with different names, but must exist within a single form.

    You can only import a single XML file. You have an xml file that has multiple instances of data, but it must be a single xml file.

    So you should find a way to combine all these into a single xml files then do the import.

  • Write several bays in one xml file at different times without overwriting the old file?

    Hi my name is Dustin,

    I am new to labview and teststand... I try several tables of data in a single XML right. I can do this with a cluster but I need to create a variable for each of these pictures (21 pictures) and I was hoping to use the same variable for each table. Which means that I get my data table write in an xml file and replace this table in this variable with a new table and then call my VI who writes this table in an xml file and write to the same file xml under the first table without crushing. My VI I created to write a table to an xml file is attached. Yet once I wonder if there is a way to write several berries in a single at different times xml file, without overwriting the old file xml.

    Thank you

  • Need help to read the xml file and place it in a table.

    Nice day!

    Here is the configuration. I have a xml file from another source which will call a stored procedure in my database (which I am supposed to create). This is a first for me, I've never done development pl/sql or worked with xml. :(

    That's what I hoped to accomplish, if there is a better way, that I am open to him.
    In short, to have a stored procedure that takes the xml file (transmitted by third parties via the call, no url must be a file), creates a temporary table and populates the two columns needed. Then, the SP will make a select join with the temporary table and other data available in another schema. Once the completed table selection will be truncated and dropped. SP farm.

    Details:
    DB: Oracle 11.2.0.1 RAC.
    Charset: AL32UTF8
    Example of XML: (nearly 10,000 lines like this in production)
    "< MerchantID report =" "#" name = 'Conversion detail report' ReportStartDate = '2011-09-27 12:00:00GMT' ReportEndDate = '2011-09-27 21:38:13GMT"Version ="1.1"> < Conversion = '1234567891234567 D' MerchantReferenceNumber Convertingdate =" 2011-09-27 13:39:02 "RequestID ="1234567891234567891234"> < OriginalDecision > REVIEW < / OriginalDecision > < NewDecision > ACCEPT < / NewDecision > < Reviewer > testusr < / examiner > < ReviewerComments > no reason to reject. < / ReviewerComments > < Notes > < Note Date = "2011-09-27 13:39:02" AddedBy = "testusr" comment = "Took possession" / > < / Notes > < queue > Digital Review < / queue > < profile > Digital orders QA < / profile > < / Conversion > "
    ...
    < / report >

    What I tried.
    I found a tutorial: http://it.toolbox.com/blogs/oracle-guide/oracle-and-xml-in-action-a-real-world-example-5319 I tried and was able to make it work. But I could not duplicate the results with my xml file. So I looked away and have had no success. :( I'm not a developer, so I'm really bad...

    I found a note of support: (how to load an XML file into a Database Table using DBMS_XMLSave unaided Bfile [227476.1 ID]) and couldn't make it work.

    I found some online then Odie son xml and tried these but slipped and couldn't get my versions of these great answers to work for me.

    Then... I'm here now and hoping that someone could walk me through this.

    I tinkered this SP (it doesn't have to be that way, the suggestions are greatly appreciated)

    create or replace procedure xml_to_table (call_1 call_2) as

    Start
    run immediately "CREATE GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE XMLType IMRPT
    --(clé primaire contrainte-imrpt_pk (MerchantReferenceNumber))
    XmlType store as xml binary basicfile
    -(high compression)
    virtual columns
    (MerchantReferenceNumber as (xmlcast (xmlquery ('/ Conversion/MerchantReferenceNumber ' from object_value content back) as VARCHAR2 (32))))
    , NewDecision as (xmlcast (xmlquery ('/ Conversion/NewDecision ' from object_value content back) as VARCHAR2 (10)))
    )
    -ON COMMIT PRESERVE ROWS

    run immediately 'save xml as a file on the local system?'

    insert into IMRPT (MerchantReferenceNumber, NewDecision)

    run immediately "join select statement.
    run immediately 'truncate table IMRPT.
    run immediately "drop table IMRTP.

    end;
    /

    On my last test, I tried to select just in the xml file using this:

    DECLARE
    indomdoc DBMS_XMLDOM. DOMDocument;
    innode DBMS_XMLDOM. DOMNode;
    myParser DBMS_XMLPARSER.parser;
    buf VARCHAR2 (2000);
    BEGIN
    myParser: = DBMS_XMLPARSER.newParser;

    DBMS_XMLPARSER.setBaseDir (myparser, 'XML_DIR');
    DBMS_XMLPARSER. Parse (myParser, "test.xml");

    indomdoc: = DBMS_XMLPARSER.getDocument (myParser);

    -just to test content
    innode: = DBMS_XMLDOM.makeNode (indomdoc);
    DBMS_XMLDOM.writeToBuffer (innode, buf);
    Dbms_output.put_line (BUF);

    dbms_xmldom.freeDocument (indomdoc);
    dbms_xmlparser.freeParser (myParser);
    END;
    /

    It was another accident and burn.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Like I said:

    Here is an example using a REF CURSOR variable ( you will need to declare a plus for your actual procedure )

    Your procedure has two parameters, you must declare two variables to hold the two REF CURSOR ;)

    DECLARE

      v_filename      VARCHAR2(50) := 'DMReport.xml';
      v_rc1            SYS_REFCURSOR;
      v_rc2            SYS_REFCURSOR;

      v_order_name       VARCHAR2(100);
      v_reason_text      VARCHAR2(100);

    BEGIN

      xml2table(v_filename, v_rc1, v_rc2);

      commit;

      loop
        fetch v_rc1 into v_order_name;
        exit when v_rc1%notfound;
        dbms_output.put_line('ORDER_NAME='||v_order_name);
      end loop;

      close v_rc1;

      loop
        fetch v_rc2 into v_order_name, v_reason_text;
        exit when v_rc2%notfound;
        dbms_output.put_line('ORDER_NAME='||v_order_name||', REASON_TEXT='||v_reason_text);
      end loop;

      close v_rc2;

    END;
    /

    If you test this in SQL * Plus, do not forget to SET SERVEROUTPUT ON to see the result.

  • XML file back to the original file after record - why?

    Hi guys,.

    I work with a bit of XML and have questions, first of all, here are my measurements:

    (1) loading XML

    2) join XML

    (3) save the XML using PHP

    pretty simple, right?

    Well, why when I load the same XML file it reads the file without nodes appendend that I just added?

    I can open the XML file in Dreamweaver and see the nodes listed in the annex, but once I load the XML in the. SWF, it erases the nodes in the annex and not bed as the original nodes once again... a simplified version as follows:

    Original file:

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >

    < people >

    < person >

    < name > Steve < / name >

    < / person >

    < / people >

    Saved the file, readable in Dreamweaver:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

    <people>

         <person>

              <name>Steve</name>

         </person>

         <person>

              <name>Mary</name>

         </person>

    </people>

    When the .swf file is closed, then reopened to save another person, it opens:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

    <people>

         <person>

              <name>Steve</name>

         </person>

    </people>

    My .swf is local at this point and the PHP and XML files on a server running PHP5.

    Apparently, the PHP script is correct, because it does not save the file correctly. I can save as < people / > as I hear it. But when I close the Flash .swf the URLLoader reads back the original XML data. Not sure how that's possible?

    When I change the location of the XML file to load in the URLLoader it changes so I know it's the same file that I saved for playback... I'm so confused.

    Hope this is enough detail for someone to help me,

    Thank you

    Hello

    So I was faced with this program I have for the past few months but I'm almost there. I have a program that creates several berries and place one after the other in an xml file, and each table has its unique name. Now, I would create a VI that takes this XML file and when the user enters the name of the table specific they are seeking it goes into the xml file concludes the table in its entirety under this name and displays in an indicator of output to be read on the VI. A sample of my xml file and the VI that creates this xml file is attached.
