It is the same OS that came on the phone. I downloaded all the drivers available through HP support and installed them. Device Manager still shows that I have not installed driver for the SM bus. The laptop works, but has a few "quirks", such as the screen saver turns on, but then turns off for no apparent reason. No problem, just annoying little things like that. Any idea where I can get the driver for the SM bus would be greatly appreciated :-)

  This driver does not cover my graphics device (Raedon Express 200 series). However, the information you provided gave me the insight to solve my problem. Uninstall and reinstall my graphics driver solves the problem. And so far, no more "quirks". Thank you very much for the help.  :-)

  Very probably the XP driver name is different from the name of 64-bit driver.  Create a Local Port which copies the data to the print size in Windows 7.
