  Hi Joan, have you seen "untrusted connection" errors lately? Sometimes does not load a site style sheets, and therefore the page layout is without style, if the servers providing these stylesheets are unreliable.

  I am trying to remotely manage the file listener.ora for an instance of database 10 g called FINANCEIRA (the operating system I use is the Windows), using the EM Database Control. I'm following the steps below to do this:

  Note: the path of the listener configured on the server is "C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_2\network\admin".

  I checked, the path is OK... There's a listener.ora file, for sure. It can be confirmed because when I chose to administer the tnsname.ora file, the process works. So, why not work for the listener.ora file?

  Well, that's a stupid question and I don't know what is the reason for this. But here is what works for me when I have this problem, hopefully it would work as well for you.

  (1) go in $oracle_home/network/tools
  (2) in the Netproperties file, comment out the line INSTALLEDCOMPONENTS = ORACLENET

  It should work after the comment line. Do not post feedback after doing so.

  You neglected to tell us what you use for an e-mail client.

  Most e-mail clients have an option to mark an email as SPAM entering and if the stars are aligned properly, you should never see an email from this sender again.  Usually, you click with the right button on the message in question and indicate this as SPAM or block all future messages.

  Of course, do not respond to one of these emails, or they will know you are receptive to their SPAM and send you more.  Even if you answer to say ' do not send me this junk more ', count on getting much more junk after that because they know your email address is "alive".  You want that they think your email is dead.

  Don't sign up for coupons, free offers, holiday, gifts or give your email address on any form you fill in by hand with pencil and paper.  They will then begin to send you an email and also other people!  The same with your phone number.  If someone says that I have your phone number, I tell them that it is 867-5309 (dang you, Tommy Tutone).

  I have several 'special' e-mail accounts I use when something requires an email address and never use my "real" email address  That is my very clear legitimate personal box of junk.  If you have enemies, put their instead of your email address and they will get the SPAM.

  I cleaned my SPAM Yahoo! account a few days ago and now he has 59 messages in there that I have not yet seen.

The machine takes all the space of the disk backup after about a month and I can't seem to manage the disk space in the Windows backup utility. If I click on 'Manage space' I get the message "the backup location is not connected. That said, it can pull up to make a backup of the backup and I have drives mapped on it! Does anyone know how to fix this?   Right now, my only solution is to go to the server and to burst the backup to make Windows just fill it up again. If anyone has a better idea of a x 64 free W7 backup, it would be great to know as well. Thank you!

  This is just the default presentation in Windows 8, 2012. You can change it by clicking on the graph and selecting ' change the chart of "->"logical processors.

  Memory management is controlled automatically by Windows.  Do a search in Help and Support for compaction gives no results, so I think that the answer is no.  It is usually a good idea to reboot at least once a week to clean fragments that might be lingering around.  There is a defragmentation of your hard drive that you can schedule or manually run.

  While there is no limit on how many contacts you can have on your device, there is a soft limit that you can have as many times as the memory of your device can handle. Check the available memory to see if you have any remaining space. If this isn't the case, then consider cleaning out / uninstallation of some things that you don't need to increase the memory available to more contacts.

  I was going about my business and went to check the time.  My watch was black, and I couldn't wake him up. So, I pressed the Start button to wake up a bit, he got the Apple symbol for some time (probably a minute), and he returned (battery to 58%).  The problem is, now it's is more in sync with my phone.
