  When you have completed the installation of El Capitan, the Setup program deletes itself. So if you have not copied somewhere else, you will have again the download on the App Store.

  I managed to install the deployments of work to the target machines. However, I expected to see the classified facility "My TestStand system" in my Start menu, but it is not. Am I misunderstanding something here?

  Also, if I do another target second deployment to the station as "My TestStand system B", all LabVIEW files in my previous installation for "My system TestStand" disappear from the directory (c:\Program Files\My TestStand system) target.

  That solved my second problem and inspired me to look deeper for the response to my first problem. The answer lies in the tab 'distributed file","Installer properties' box 'create a program item:

  

  Wouldn't be nice if it is automatically checked by default for main sequence files? Wouldn't also nice if "Upgrade Code" was regenerated automatically by default whenever we have saved the file *.tsd under another name?

  Why the labwindows/cvi Installer runs whenever I try to start labview 7.1, after I installed N!-series?  The installation program runs 3 times now and asks me to restart every time.  Then I reboot and it happens all over again when I try to start labview 7.1, unless I select Cancel 3 times in a row then labview starts.

  Are you sure that your printer is the default in the printer folder? You can print a test page?

  I'm running Mavericks and waited until now to install El Capitan software conflict with other applications. I downloaded the installer for El Capitan from the prompt on the App Store. But I realized you need to straighten the my backup before installing, just in case something went wrong. That took much longer that planned, I messed up my Crashplan backup by mistake and ended up leaving the Mac on during a few weeks, while I've sorted it. Setup was waiting for him on the desk, but when the backup was made, I discovered that there is an update of security available in the App Store. So I installed and I thought I could stop and let the Mac for a few days while I went abroad, assuming he would always be there when I restarted my return. But it wasn't the case. When I started the OS today returning Installer El Capitan is no longer on the desktop. It is also is no longer proposed to download again from the App Store.

  I have tried 3 times now to install El capitan, and it failed. I download on the App store, and then once it is downloaded it ask if I want to install, and I say Yes. It takes about a minute to activate the installation. Then, once that is complete the screen becomes black for a while and then an error message saying that the installation is corrupted.   Try to remove the El Capitan, install and try re downloading and then try this happened when I couldn't throw an app, I downloaded again. Hope this has helped

  I'm using labview 8.51.  I have many addons on my machine including DSC Vision FPGA and RT.  I have an application which usis daq mx and the imaq and imaq-dx (no vision saw.  I added 8.51 engine performance, NI-Imaq, NOR-Imaq-dx, Max 4.1 and Daqmx8.7.  I run the installer, but he still wants the disk in real time.  This application uses no screws RT and should not waqnt this disc.  What triggers this action and how I can avoid it.  I have had this problem several times and can't seem to find one alternative that the shipping of my separate installers (I hate this solution).

  Just to clarify, you have no need to manually copy the CD on the hard drive, like the LV application builder automatically only record it is necessary if you check the option "cache" during the construction of the installer. Please see this thread for more information on why Builder app works this way: link

I downloaded the HP - inkjet ink-SW-OSX - Mavericks_v12.34.51 (I note was released in October 2015, but also notes that the Mavericks is two itterations - old Yosemite was the next and now its El Capitan). I deleted my old HP 6700 driver and tried to install the new driver. But I get an error. I was going to attach screenshots of the error msg but do not see this option. I tried several times with the same result. Even tried to download driver HP - inkjet ink-SW-OSX - Mavericks_v12.34.51 a 2nd time.

  The driver should not be accurate for El Capitan instead of Mavericks, i.e. There are two OSs?

  I felt like I was in a 'catch 22' because I had deleted my old driver and now the new driver is not install and now I had no driver with which to print... so, I slept on it and went back just to try the 'install new printer' "printer & fax" introduced in system preferences. Here, I was introduced to here, and optionally 'Air Print', I chose! This works. Thus, it is apparently a bug in the HP - inkjet ink-SW-OSX - Mavericks_v12.34.51 driver installation routine if you attempt to add a printer during the installation / implementation, but if you install the new driver and then just go to System Preferences and add a printer, everything is ok ;-)

  I have an external drive that I use for backups Time Machine that has more space, 2.6 TB.

  Look on your boot drive (internal) and see if there is a Backups.backupsd file on the root of the hard drive. If so, remove it. Then try to reinstall.
