Why is it suddenly very slow to move files in folders?
All of a sudden, when I create a new folder and check the box to place the images selected in the newly created folder, it really takes a lot of time to transfer photos via. And it isn't much. Anyone else having this problem all of a sudden? No reason?

But I have unchecked the graphics processor as instructed by Mohit and disabled the facial recognition as suggested by johnrellis. One of these things, or even both, seemed to fix it.

Hello!I have 3 Windows 7 PC-s (office #1, #2 desktop and laptop). I created HomeGroup and join all computers, so I can access the files on each of them. But my problem is the following: homegroup is very slow. Loading files from another computer is very long and I can't watch movies on the wireless using homegroup, because it is slow and every two seconds of loading film. Suddenly very slow - being report attached - it's just the ram?
Hi all
my macbook suddenly turns very slowly, he has been allowed recently after some graphics clamping because it is so old!
things are critical.
If it's just the ram, (I doubt it, but maybe wrong!) can someone help me with my maximum?
I think that his officially 4 (2 x 2), but remember reading that a 4 + 2 can work?

Lightroom 6 suddenly very slow. All my changes drag on the screen at least + 10 seconds. The screen seems frozen between each edition. I use a macbook pro and all my programs are up to date. Help, please

- Go to Lightroom > Preferences.
- Also please go to preferences > Performance tab and uncheck the box "use graphics processor.
- Restart Lightroom and see if it works.
- Please make sure you also update of Lightroom to the latest version, which is 6.3 Lightroom

How to move files between folders in Lightroom 3?
I would like to move a file from one folder to another one of Lightroom 3 (do not discuss why). I searched the net but couldn't find the answer (maybe I missed it). When I click on a photo in the grid view and then drag and drop this file into another folder in the folder Panel (for the move), a small sign more (copy) appears and a copy of the file is placed in the second folder. If I try to delete the photo in the original folder (for the move), two copies of the file are removed. I tried pressing all kinds of keys on the imac but unable to get the move to work. Ideally, I would like to move a group of pictures but can not move even one. Does anyone know how to move files between folders in Lightroom 3?
Try to select the pictures, right click on the folder target and choosing "move selected Photos to this folder.

How do I remove, rename, or move files or folders in another program, that I can't find?
Im running Windows 7 Ultimate edition. What should I do to solve this problem: too often, when I try to delete, rename or move a file/s or folder/s so on my desktop, documents, library, or anywhere with a typical, it should create a custom folder, I get an error message telling me that I can not remove this file or folder because it is open in another program. It drives me crazy because I don't know what the heck, or when the devil this folder doesn't exist anywhere else on my laptop. I tried to look for programs and files to determine if there are duplicate areas where the file can share with another path, but nothing. I also looked at the properties of the file/folder, but it does show me nothing relevant, even if I uncheck the read-only box. I am the only user/administrator of my laptop. I created a profile of the privileged administrator I use only, nothing else. I run a home network with 5 computers and treat various problems in the past, but this problem started recently, after I upgraded my network of Windstream modem 4220 + linksys wrt600n to Windstream wireless all-in-one router. The new router was a piece of * so I've not unhooked it and reiinstalled my original Windstream modem 4220 + linksys wrt600n devices. I had a few problems, but everything is now back to how it was. I can only think that this may have something to do with the share on the network? Correct me if I'm wrong (please), but there seems to be too many titles listed under users? It's whats listed under users: administrator, Classic .NET AppPool, default, default AppPool, (my username) and Public. In any case, please help % @#! I think I may be fubar had my network configuration after uninstallation and reinstallation of the windstream (local phone/internet provider) facilities and added a printer wireless capability (which does not). and may have caused the problem that I can't delete, rename or move files or folders in another program, that I can't find? When you have the problem that happens, open the Task Manager.
Then, you can view the processes that are open and see if the program or file is open by another process. If so, then select end task.
Then return to Windows Explorer and see if you can remove the file now.You may also be able to delete the file in Mode without failure.

Internet suddenly VERY slow on 1 PC
We have 3 wired connected PC to the router AT & T. 1 of these PCs is suddenly developed a problem. It has very slow internet. It seems to connect OK to websites, but then he's here without loading the page. For example, in Firefox, at the bottom of the browser it says "connected to google.com... or «pending yahoo.com...»» "then it's there. Nothing new has been installed since last week. Question are using wired LAN or Wi - Fi connection. Question is there with Firefox and IE.
Did a clean boot, disable all non-Microsoft services and startup programs.
Tried the wired and wireless connection.
I have tried 2 different browsers.
A run SFC.

Fact ipconfig/release / renew.
Disabilities to Norton.
Probably didn't have other things that I don't remember right now.Nothing has helped at all. 2 other PC's have no problem. The 'bad' PC connects very well through the home network - nice and fast.
I was construction / upgrade / repair of PC for years as a hobby. Never seen this before. Completely helpless.

for three years, I never had any problem with my Mac. Now, all of a sudden, from one moment to the other, it runs very slowly. Also, I have to force every time you start the Mac with pressing the button for a few seconds. When closing the laptop and opening it, it locks again as well (only the screen black, start must be forced).
First thing I noticed was that kernel_task uses up to 400% of the RAM. I tried to find the problem myself, read about kernel_task, and did the following things (without success):
-Updated to the latest version of El Capitan
-Reset NVRAM and SMC
-hardware running apple diagnostics test (Code: ADP000 find anything)
-removal of protected system /System/Library/Extensions/IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ACPI_SMC _PlatformPlugin.kext/Contents/Resources to another folder, files and then reboot
-make an EtreCheck.
Can someone help me? Especially to interpret the diagnosis of EtreCheck?

you have 4 GB of RAM that can be demanding on the system regardless of suggestion of apples El Cap with run with 2; It will be, but do not expect to use the computer for a large part to start the system.
also you run bit torrent, any software you get this service is suspect.

Sorry, looks like it has automatic sorting, because he is back to normal this morning. I think that there is a current Windows Update which I did not know everything. Looks like Microsoft have the ability of the user to determine when and how updates are delivered in 10 disabled Windows.

Why don't I do drag and drop files in folders?
Good so since I've reinstalled my computer I got in trouble on him drag / drop files into any kinds of files. I am able to copy and paste, delete and drag the files that were on my desk and move them, but I can't move all files in a folder. So I'm able to move anything in folders and desktop, but not able to move them to another location, unless if I copy and paste. I scanned for malicious things, did all the tests of virus and other things and still nothing. I searched on how to solve this problem, but nobody seems to have a problem like mine. Maybe a few, but none of the answers that were given on other forums for other people has not worked for me. If anyone can help me? And yes I checked if the box for customizing the taskbar if the drag and drop was allowed and he had checked them already. Please can someone help me?

How to move files between folders without having to turn off UAC (as admin)
I am connected to my computer as an administrator (Windows Vista). I take loads and loads of photos - when I edit that I need to move them between folders or subfolders. If I have active user account control, the system tells me that I don't have permission to do so. I had the same problem with Windows XP. Please tell us how can I fix this. I'm not invited to passwords.

Here are the steps to change the ownership and permissions of files and folders:
1. right click on the file or folder, click Properties, and then click the Security tab.
2. click on advanced and then click the owner tab.
3. click on edit and then do one of the following:
· To change the owner to a user or group that is not listed, click other users and groups, and in the box type
the object name to select (examples), type the name of the user or group, and then click OK.· To change the owner to a user or a group is listed in the change owner to box, click the new owner.
4. If you want to take ownership of the contents of the folder, select the replace the owner of sub containers and objects check box.
5. click OK and then click Yes when you receive the following message is displayed:
You are not allowed to read the contents of directory folder name. You want to replace the directory
permissions with permissions granting you full control?All permissions will be replaced if you click Yes.
Note folder_name is the name of the folder you want to take charge.
6. click on OK and then reapply the permissions and security settings that you want for the folder and its contents.
Additional considerations
7· An administrator can take ownership of any file on the computer.
8· Affecting the ownership of a file or a folder might require that raise you your permissions using user access control
