  Hi, I have 11 Acrobat Pro on a Windows 7 PC, I need to transfer to a Windows 10 machine. My problem is that in 10 Windows, Adobe refuses to acknowledge my 24-digit serial number, saying it's a strawberry of number of eligible license that the product is not installed on the computer. He then asks me to select another product and enter the number again, but finally unsurprisingly refuses to accept it for one of them.   You will need to select your version of Acrobat earlier & get the serial for the same key in order to activate the upgrade Acrobat Pro XI.

• Acrobat Pro stopped working

  I have Acrobat X Pro, installed as part of the suite CS6. It has stopped working. If I click on a PDF file, nothing happens. If I select Acrobat Pro in the menu program, nothing happens.

  I tried to restart and just download the latest updates from Adobe.

  Still nothing. What could be wrong here?

  In fact I just fixed the problem with another post here. It turns out be a thing of licenses. I built a new PC and apparently not unlicence continued on my old. So I allowed it, then re registered and now it works. Weird, but true.

• Why not Acrobat Pro XI on Lion 10.7.5 installation?

  I bought a copy of Acrobat Pro XI for my Mac Pro tower with a 3 GHz quad core, 14 GB of memory main processor and 3 terabytes of disk (still a lot of room). I can't get the installation to complete. He out craps just as he claims he makes in "cleaning". I contacted Adobe support, and after an hour, they were unable to solve the problem. Among other things, we used the disk utility to verify and repair permissions.

  I tried to re - download a new copy of the .dmg relevant twice and the last time (the third) I did the download on a machine freshly booted with no other application works except "Activity Monitor" and "Finder". Whenever a window pops up saying: "the installation failed. Setup has encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the manufacturer of the software. »

  After the most recent attempt (start-up costs, fresh XI of Acrobat Pro copy, nothing else, running - see above) I checked the log console (attached). There seems to be a few quirks & /or errors (in bold). No one knows what might be the problem please?

• How can I create a button print a PDF using Acrobat Pro, that will also work on iOS?

  I created a button to print a PDF document using Adobe Acrobat Pro on my Mac.  The Print button works perfectly on different browsers on my Mac and Windows (running under Parallels Desktop) as well.

  When I open the document on my iPad button print does not yet appear.  I'm guessing that it is a problem with Flash, but it can be informed about East of the action of the button to access the print menu item that does not exist in iOS.

  Is it possible to create a button print using Acrobat Pro, which works on a Mac and Windows, but also on iOS?

  To start printing by clicking on a button, the button must have either an action of type "run the menu item" or use the method JavaScript 'print '. As you may have guessed, the former will not work because there is no menu item to run, and may not work if the particular PDF Viewer you're using supports. I'm not aware of all that are on iOS.

  The button does not appear because you are probably opening in the default PDF Viewer, which does not support forms. If you open the form in Adobe Reader, you will see the button but it wouldn't work.

  I wish I had noticed the detail that this update was only for

  v10.4.11 - 10.5.5. Too, I am running 10.5.8 and had this problem. My challenge was not to use Time Machine to replace the Acrobat program only. Not the file, not in the prefs, not another thing. I restored a version prior update to Acrobat 8.2.3 and when Time Machine was asked that if I wanted to replace the original or to keep the two, I said, keep both. Then, I opened the restored 8.2.3 version a few times, checking most fuctionalities. I then trashed the (original) version Acrobat FEATURES as Time Machine created, checked the 8.2.3 a few times and then emptied recycle bin. So far, everything works again.

  I have now uninstalled Acrobat Pro version by using the uninstall of Acrobat application. After you have reinstalled Acrobat version 9.0.0 of the DVD, there is no problem with OCR, now no longer works.

  Currently, I install the updates until 9.4.6. and I guess that there will be no problem.

  --> If the problem has been resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat complete by using the uninstall of Acrobat application and the original DVD.
