  It depends on what version on Norton you have: I have Norton Security Suite (not to be confused with Norton 360). Free Norton Security Suite is available to Comcast customers. Updates following Norton Security seem to be a bit behind Norton 360. Norton said currently their Norton 360 product can be updated using Live Update and the toolbar does not work in Firefox 22, but this does not seem to solve the problem of the toolbar with Norton Security Suite.   Hello

  You can try to check if this in Safe Mode. Safe mode disables the installed Extensionsand themes (appearance) in (Alt + T) Tools > Add-ons. Hardware acceleration is also temporarily disabled - manual setting is Tools > Options > Advanced > general > use hardware acceleration when available. All these settings/options/additional custom modules can also be individually or collectively disabled/enabled/changed to normal mode of Firefox to check if an extension, theme, option or a hardware acceleration is causing issues. Deactivation/activation of hardware acceleration and some types of modules in normal mode may require a restart of Firefox.

  An even easier way would be to Reset Firefox by help (Alt + H) > troubleshooting information and start again if all goes well and avoid the problematic add-ons.

  Your bearing works... because the link, ime that leaves the layers themselves as an option. Add a new layer (above the base layer that everything is on) then place the bearing and test.

  I ended up uninstalling the driver for the 23 "and disconnect.  This put the 24 "at number 1 and automatically back to the only driver left, 24".  Then restarted with the 23 '' reconnected.  It assigned the pilot generic and in fact number 2. Yes the 23 "works very well on the generic driver and I have the right driver for the 24" so I'll leave well enough alone...  I had downloaded the drivers from the monitor on the Samsung website according to the instructions on my cd that came with them.   I never thought to check the updates on my nvidia graphics card.

  Thank you very much for this information.  I'll do this and keep my fingers crossed he doesn't mess up something else.  This Vista is so tempermental.
