Why my new laptop to start keep saying, ' Please wait until we have install Windows?

I bought a new laptop in November. It is a Sony Vaio and runs Windows 7. Whenever I start it, it tells me 'Pleasse to wait until what we install Windows'. Surely, Windows is already installed.

He also periodically, when I'm in the middle of something, usually with "Please wait while configure us Windows Media. Whenever I have download anything, it downloads about 4 times.
Should I return this laptop or is there a simple solution that I don't know. I already tried a restore of the system without useful effect. Any help would be appreciated gratefully.
Susan Mathews

Take it to where you bought it.  There might be corrections, you can try but best to consider that you are still under warranty.      Or contact Support http://www.sony.co.uk/support/hub/sony_europe.html

Connect your computer monitor to a spare computer and see if the error 'Please Wait' always appears. If so, it's a problem with the monitor.

When windows update, the restart may end, it says please wait and do not restart unless I closed it and open it in safe mode, what can I do?

    Hello

1st thing to try is a restoration of the system in safe mode

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode option with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

If that does not read this information

If you are using a real MS win dvd during the first part of the installation it can not find a drive or ask a driver, then the driver is obtained from Dell, specific to your model, its likely the driver sata, you need to download to say a USB and then point to this file when the installation application the third-party driver.

  • When I start my laptop Vista loaded, I get 'Please Wait' for more than 2 minutes sometimes. What does Vista behind my back?

I have a Toshiba laptop with no extra or odd options, this is the case whenever I start and it's annoying when Vista was announced as being quick to start.  This small circular thing continues his tail for up to 4 minutes while the 'Please Wait' shines.  Very unsatisfactory.  I also bought the best virus/malware protection money can buy, at least that's what they say, it's a bit like microsoft.

Check if the same problem occurs if you "clean boot" your system (check this page). This should load Windows Vista without third-party programs. If the startup time is better, then you will need to find or which program is causing the problem.
However, you can check this page first.

  • RN104 - added 4 new 4 TB drives. 2.5 days of resynchronization. Start copying files, or wait until it's done?

I think I've drunk mostly in the title...

I just added four new 4TB discs (WD40EFRX) to a vacuum RN104 running the latest operating system. (6.4.0)

At the start, he started a resynchronization estimated at about 70 hours.

Is a resynchronization required on an empty set of disks? (If not, can I cancel?)

If I have to re-sync, can I go ahead and start writing some stuff on the drive is Resyncing? (I'm willing to take whatever the performance hit, there could be.)

    Thank you!

The synchronization is made at the level of the block of readers, even thoug hthey are empty, they still need to be resynced.

If it's critical to copy the data across, you can start adding data while resynchronization is in progress. Although you will take a significant performance hit, synchronization and the writing speed. AND, you won't have the advantage of reduncancy until the end of the resynchronization.

Unless it's critical data, my suggestion would be to wait until the Resync is finished, and THEN copy the data across.

Try the last known good configuration:

Remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer by clicking on the button start , by clicking on the arrow next to the button stop , then clicking on restart.

    1. Do one of the following:
    2. If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by stopping and restarting your computer.

If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to start, and then press F8.

In the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to select last known good Configuration (Advanced), and then press ENTER.

    1. If your computer has multiple operating systems installed, use the arrow keys to select the operating system that you want to start using the last good known Configuration, and then press ENTER. Windows will then resume starting normally.

If this fails to solve your problem, disconnect everything except keyboard, mouse and monitor and then tries to start.
