• Why my favorites disappear several times since the update to Firefox 39?

  Hi - I am running Firefox 39 on desktop PC Windows 7, 64-bit.

  • I already know how to restore bookmarks. I just can't understand why they keep disappearing!
  • This has been bothering me for weeks. At this diagnosis, I backed up the bookmarks that I will properly. I even exported a bookmarks HTML file is a file of bookmark JSON backup - just in case I could have business in a corrupt JSON or SQLITE or another mysterious file.
  • Yet, my favorites keep disappearing. I have, for example, 100 bookmarks. Then suddenly, in the middle of my work, I notice some of my favorites in my toolbar disappeared. When I close my browser and re - open again to check what is happening with my bookmark backups - I see my old JSON file with 100 bookmarks - and a NEWER file that has, say, 55 bookmarks. Pouf! Forty-five 45 favorites have disappeared in a Flash! I restored using the old file to recover. But the disappearance of bookmarks problem continues to be, seemingly randomly.
  • As a last resort - I re-set my browser to create a new profile. But the problem continues. Then in annihilation total, I saved my password and cookies files DB, SQLITE and JSON - and did a complete UNINSTALL of the browser - AS WELL AS - delete all "Mozilla" entries in the registry.
  • From there, I downloaded and did a clean install of Firefox and put some data from my old profile backup files - in the new. I thought everything would be fixed. NOPE!
  • I wonder if there's something built into my browser - either an add it or something in one of the files, SQLITE - that causes this problem is disconcerting. Yes, I can restore my old favorites to their original state. But dozens of them continue to disappear in the middle of a session. And when I close this session - the LAST visible bookmarks are part of a new JSON backup file generated, but this file purges much of my original favorites.

  According to your description above, the problem is with the synchronization. Check the other

  My answers to your questions:

  1 processor: Intel Core 2 CPU 4300 1.80 GHz

  2. RAM: 2.00 GB

  3 OS architecture: 32-bit

  4. OS version: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (V6.1.7601)

  As I said before, CPU usage was 100% even if no demand had started. The operating system (explorer.exe) used about 60% of the CPU.

  Microsoft Security Essentials has not helped.

  In the meantime, I found a solution. After using restore system several times (not only one!), I managed to get my normal working conditions in return.

  C:\Users\ < username > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ < yourprofile > \extensions?

  Your modules should be there? Otherwise, check the firefox profiles folder
  C:\Users\ < username > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles?
  Search other profiles and look for the extensions folder. Can be a reason for any you have changed your profile?

  "The two region" can only hold x number of icons... Let's say 7.
  If you later open a 8th program, among the list of 7 will be "hit.
  I opened Windows DVD Maker. Later, I opened MS Excel. Windows DVD is moved from the list.

  This is a computer on a small working server, every time that reset us the computer, the internet becomes disconnected. The computer is still able to access other computers on the server and be able to use the desktop in email, but all internet functions are non-existent. The only solution I've found is disabling the NIC in Device Manager, then activation of the network card. Once I have reactivated the card edge internet connection returns. But after any instance where we're going to restart the computer, the internet is once more disappeared. We thought that the integrated NETWORK interface was bad and replaced the motherboard, but this does NOT resolve the issue. We contacted our OEM on the problem and they say to reinstall our BONES. It is NOT an option we want to continue.

  We are running Windows 7 Pro.
  The network is a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller #2.

  My text disappear whenever I just clicked to make a montage, but I found a solution...

  In the text panel, i.e. character/paragraph, click on the small box of horizontal lines at the top right. Now click on "reset character".

  Your policy goes back to a system font, but you panic... cancellation just hit until bring back you your settings of the original fonts... ctrl/alt/z on a PC.

  You should now be able to change your text without it in the process of disappearance. Hope that helps!

  Figured it out. Wanted to come back and post my solution b/c 1. No one does this. Never. 2 it is a terrible feeling to Google your problem and lead to half a dozen discussions without response on missing markers or w/e, it's that you are troubleshooting.

  I noticed on an automatic check that when the project is opened, the markers would seem * for a moment * then disappear (probably after the link to the source file). I knew they were there in the draft to be related. I support source on an external drive, so I removed the drive and open the project with all offline media (to prevent the project to link the files and erase my markers). Went to Premiere Pro > Preferences > Media and ticked the box "ID XMP write to the files during import. Reissue of links now - intact markers.

  When you add an adjustment layer when there is an active selection of the active selection is added as a layer mask on the adjustment layer and the active selection is deselected.  If you want the ants back CTRL click on the layer mask to adjustment layer. Why do you still need them adjustments is masked by the selection? You can also run levels and curves on the mask to adjust the effect of the selection has,

• Problem PDF interactive, audio and standard poster disappear once uploaded to the server

  I'm working my way through learning to interactive PDF files and CC iD curve. I created a simple to test, PDF file on which I placed a media file (audio) and assigned the standard poster. I export to interactive PDF format. The document opens on the outcome. Locally, I see my audio shows, click on it, and everything works perfectly. I then download the PDF and the audio (MP3; that is in the same folder) on my server. I then open the PDF file in a browser [any]. It opens correctly, except my icon audio poster is gone and no audio, course. My player is a Acrobat Reader X (10.1.13).

  I also added an interactive PDF sample that I downloaded from tutorials Adobe Creative Cloud. Again, works locally, not online.

  I also tried to play the audio on the open page. Works locally, not online.

  Once more, note that I don't have real MP3 download in the same folder as the PDF file.

  I am clearly missing a step or do not understand the whole process.  Seems there must be a way to make this work. Otherwise, what would be the point of having the features of media in inDesign, if only visible on the computer of the local developer?
