Why my ultimate used 7 get automatic updates

I have a 6 year old acer which is 64 bit system... I have lost my 7 Ultimate 64-bit disk and downloaded from digital river iso. I entered the product key and everything goes through fine, but when I try to get the automatic updates, my computer won't download and always picks these updates. I even downloaded service pack 1 and update remaining to without success I don't get 300 more security. My friend leaned me his original disc 32 bit and download and install all updates. Can anyone tell me is there something wrong with digital rivers and sonrays iso copy. I can't the iso 64 bit microsoft because my computer was shipped with the software, and microsoft is not going to give me their version. Also I would like to know if I'm compromising the operation of my computer by simply running the 32 bit version? Please help someone... I feel im going crazy and lose sleep so try to solve this problem

Someone help me please find the fix for this problem.  I don't want to re - install Vista again.

My computer has been in auto for Windows Vista Edition full update.  Service pack 1 & 2 was installed without any problems.  The last update was an optional update for Chinese langauage packs.  When I noticed that this update was at a standstill at 36%, I tried to restart the computer.  Then, there was that messeage "configuration updated, do not turn off the computer".  It takes more than 15 minutes and nothing happened, so I restarted the computer.  Now, the message appears after windows logo vista 'configuration updated step 3 or 3 to 0%.  The update could never finished, the computer just reset again once, the same thing repeats again and again.

    Hello

I guess that part of the question could be a driver which is really old or similar should not be loaded.

This exit Windows updates on (after you have access) and stop the updates of the driver to load.

Glance at it... might therefore an update, he wants that you take that you approve and agree before it will download and install it.

Sometimes I'll see a glitch where Windows updates has wants to repeatedly download the same update, but according to my history of update (more a check in Control Panel), it is already installed.  It can also be A Windows Update that you do not need... get the KB # you search here or on Bing or Google and can easily determine if that has occurred to other users.  I usually just hide the update and spend and don't worry it...

Follow this thread in the case where someone suggests something to you but...
