Why not two MAF project Java classes in the same package, see the other (including those in the project downloadable tutorial used)?
I use JDev 12.1.3.0, updated to include the MAF 2.1.1 and am using 1.8.0_45 and 1.7.0_79 of JDK.
I have the SDK with Tools 24.1.2, tools 22, Build-tools 22.0.1 platform and from the 21 API, but I don't think I even got that far...
So, for some reason, then the creation of two public classes in the same package, they do seem to see each other.
The flags of the code editor, any mention of each and the other classes as "< < WhateverClass > > Type not found", even after an explicit import.
A screenshot showing the error is included.
The classes are created by simply clicking on the ViewController project, then 'new' then selecting class Java and accepting all the default values.
Everything I do is add a class EMP member to EMP, both in the mycomp.mobile package.
This happens even if I don't use the prefix of the tutorial "mycomp" from the appointment package.
At first, I noticed that when following the tutorial staff then again when downloading the employees project completed, which also shows the same problem when I open it.
When I create any other application, same and asks the ADF, this does not happen.
I thought that maybe it's something to do with the fact that the MAF uses JDK 8 while JDev runs on JDK 7?
Anything I'm doing wrong?
Any help is appreciated!
I can't reproduce this behavior in my environment, there might be something specific to your installation.
Can you try deleting the IDE system directory and restart JDeveloper? to find the location of this directory see help-> about-> properties-> de.system.dir

After saving the emails from windows live mail, why not open them on my computer as the file extension is wlmail.fol?
wlmail.fol is a tiny text giving the name of the folder. The exported messages will have filenames like 00D13E83 - 000025DF.eml. If you don't see all of the files like this, your export probably did not work properly.
For a successful export, follow these directions:
- Set Windows Live Mail to work offline before starting.
- Create a temporary folder on your desktop * to contain the exported messages.
- In the Export Wizard, select the temporary folder, and then select all the folders.* *
- When it is complete, check that the number of files in each folder to the temporary folder is one more than the number of messages in the corresponding folder of WLMail.
- Copy the temporary file to its final destination.
If you use a reader not NTFS to do this, you will see a warning that certain file properties will not be copied files. This can be ignored.
* Windows Live Mail do not work with files that are not on a local drive, as opposed to an external or network drive. This is avoided by using the office as a temporary folder location.
* If you want to export the files sampled only, select each of them containing messages. Subfolders are not automatically selected by default. -

Quick question: I need to change the drive to a new drive letter, but XP will not let me because he thinks that the letter is in use, when it is not.
The question for a long time: I've updated two disks in my computer from 1 TB to 2 TB. They were e and K:. The KC: drive is used as a backup of data on E: drive.
I copied all the data on the old drive E: to the new, but when I put the new drive in place of the old, XP wouldn't let me assign the E: drive letter. It is ironic that several times, I see the warning that if you change a drive letter, some programs may not work - so of course that Microsoft is aware of this problem - however, it is annoying when you NEED to change a drive letter to OPERATE programs, but Windows won't let you. Sometimes, trying to protect users from doing stupid things prevents them from making things work...
Anyway, after some research, I discovered that if I put the drive E: OLD and "remove" the drive of her letter, then the letter E: becomes available again. It did not work, and my computer is now partially satisfied with his new E: drive. However, the same trick with the new drive K: does NOT work.
I removed the letter 'k': the old K: drive, but when I install a new one, it won't let me change it. It happens to be stuck at 'l': it's no use to me because backup programs are ready to use the K:\ path.
There is that no "K:" drive in my computer and I deleted the letter k: the old disk. How do I FORCE XP to designate the new drive K: so that my backup program can work again?
Thank you.
Did you try to start your computer in Mode without fail (repeatedly, key to tap the F8 as your computer starts) and then try to re-assignment of drive letters?
I think that some programs on your machine may be playing with your drive letters. Boot safe mode will allow Windows to operate with a minimum of processes that are running and you should be able to change drive letters in these conditions.HTH,

Access the current instance of request module in a java class in the model
Hi all
I'm trying to implement the custom story types in our application, (ModifiedById), I can read the user name of the security context, but not the username.
I have a view object, say UserInfoVO which contains the logged in users info.
I know, I can create a new instance of the application at the bean module and using security context information, I can go get the user ID.
I'm trying to access the current instance of the Application module in my java class customized, that is used to return the attribute history ModifiedById.ApplicationModule am = Configuration.createRootApplicationModule(amDef, config); ViewObject vo = am.findViewObject("UserInfoVO1"); // view criteria applied by default vo.setNamedWhereClauseParam("bUserName", user); // user from security context vo.executeQuery();
It is, how do I access the current instance of ApplicationModule in a class as * "HistoryAwareEntityImpl" * located in project template. ?//referring the blog http://jobinesh.blogspot.in/2011/02/creating-custom-history-types.html
any help will be appreciated.
Kind regards
RognardOK, in this case, you get the transaction of db of the base class object and this object allows you to search the module of the application
public final DBTransaction getDBTransaction(); ... DBTransaction: public ApplicationModule findApplicationModule(java.lang.String amName)
or if you get the application root module
public ApplicationModule getRootApplicationModule()

Call the JavaScript file java class in the native blackberry development.
What you are looking for is the ScriptableFunction class.
You can extend the script engine of a JavaScript object name to a ScriptableFunction Java class mapping. In this example, if you called foo. JavaScript bar(), the BrowserField would facilitate a call to the invoke() method defined in the MyScriptableFunction() class:
protected BrowserField _browserField = null; _browserField = new BrowserField(); _browserField.extendScriptEngine("foo.Bar", new MyScriptableFunction());
Then you set your ScriptableFunction class like this and fill it with some Java code, you need. Note: it only accepts strings as input parameters.
import net.rim.device.api.script.ScriptableFunction; /** * @description Demonstration of using the ScriptableFunction class added to version 5.0 of the BlackBerry Device * Software * @version 1.0 * @author Adam Stanley, Developer Relations * @category BlackBerry BrowserField Development: ScriptableFunction API * @see http ://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/5.0.0api/net/rim/device/api/script/ScriptableFunction .html */ /** * This class can be used to represent a function in the JavaScript environment. */ public class MyScriptableFunction extends ScriptableFunction { /** * User has invoked this ScriptableFunction from the JavaScript engine This example shows how to open the Messages * application and create a new message */ public Object invoke(Object obj, Object[] args) throws Exception { if (args.length == 3) { String param1 = args[0].toString(); String param2 = args[1].toString(); String param3 = args[2].toString(); //Do something } return Boolean.TRUE; //Always } }
Hope that helps.

A project is not import dependence projects any transfer using the Desktop Manager
One of my projects have been dependent on two other projects and those dependencies are kept in the generated files .alx so.
But, if I transfer the claim referring .alx files using Desktop Manager, its not actually transfer the other two dependent projects.
Is it possible to import all dependent projects as well as with the main project?
As I said above, whenever the dependency library project .cod file is in a different directory, its not loaded in the device using Desktop Manager, whenever we load the main project in the unit.
Workaround solution:
We need changes in files .alx file to specify the file .cod library with the actual path. [Note: BlackBerry JDE will not affect the actual path, he considers the name of file .cod without taking account of her real situation.] It assumes that the library .cod file is in the path where the main files .alx file.]
I've specified as shown below:
samplelibrary\samplelibrary. COD Note that the samplelibrary.cod mentioned with its parent directory, residing inside of the JDE project workspace, where the files the main project .alx file.
I tried to use the tag of the
element to specify the path of the file .cod without success. I don't know if this is a bug in BlackBerry JDE or it's the way it was designed to generate files of files .alx with project dependencies.

How to generate Java classes during the generation of the WebService Datacontrols?
Hello
I use data controls generated by the web service in my application, but I am stuck at a point where I got a requirement to create a Java bean for the complex type. There's no java class created when we create data controls using the web service.
I need to grasp the object of return type of a method of data control (example: I need to capture the Department object that is returned by the getDetartment method) to validate the data.
The XML files are created in the template while creating web service data controls. How to generate java classes out of it?
Please can someone help out of this?
I hope you understand my question.
Please let me know if you want more details about me.
Thanks and greetings
ThoomHello
If this is your condition using a WS client proxy class and create a POJO to data control (right click). The WS data control generates classes and uses instead of XML schema definitions
See example at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/index-101235.html 073

If you have two HARD drives in a PC Windows 7, can you remove everything (including the System 32, Windows users, literally everything) in the second and still use his computer? All my programs on the first HDD would remain on my PC, but all the files of the second being scratched? I'm running out of space on my first HARD drive and need to know if I can keep the second as storage just pure.
Thank you.Hey Elliot,
Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community Forums.
According to the description, it seems that you want to delete all the data on the secondary hard drive without affecting the first hard drive operating system files.
I'll be happy to help you with this.
If the operating system (Windows 7) is installed on the first hard drive, it has nothing to do with the second hard disk. You can go ahead and delete all data without hesitation.
Note: Make sure that you remove the data from the hard drive where Windows 7 is installed.
If you want to reduce the number of unnecessary files on your hard disk to free up disk space and help your computer run faster, use disk cleanup.
For more information, see the link.
Delete files using disk cleanup
If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know. We will be happy to help you.

Why not screw created VITs automatically members of the class if the VIT is a Member?
I have a .lvclass that contains a LIVING that I use to create methods. The LIVING is a member of the class so that it can access data members. However, the new screw that I created from the template are not automatically members of the class, so I have to save and add them to the class, when they are complete.
Is that what I can do to save the extra steps?
