Why PSE8 air for a SD card when I open the program?

Whenever I have start to Photoshop Elements 8 I get the following message: "there is no disk in the drive.  Insert a disk in the drive\device\harddisk5\DR5. It is the location for my SD card on the computer player. Everything started after I opened a few images directly from the SD card in my camera.  I have to type the button cancel 3 - 4 times to get the program to open.  It does the same thing if I try to open the files once the program is running.  Anyone know why and how to solve this problem?

Thank you

Do you get this message when you use the Organizer?  Check your settings in the file... Look at the file to ensure that the PSE is not watching this disk for images.
