Why the Adobe reader won't open my jpeg files?

Why the 11 adobe reader won't open my jpeg files?

Hi Nassman,

Adobe Reader is a single reading software for PDF files. JPEG is not a supported format that would open in Adobe Reader. You must open the Jpeg in application that supports this file format. (for example, Photoshop, Picture Viewer, MS Paint)

I hope this helps. I would like to know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards

~ Dominique

Do you have accepted the license agreement for the reader?

    Otherwise, go to C/Program Files (or Program Files (x 86)) / 11.0/Adobe/Reader

Double-click the file "eula.exe" (it may just say "EULA")

    Accept the license agreement.

Open drive and you should be able to open a PDF file.

  • Files Adobe Reader won't open new pdf - why

Just (June 30, 2015) update Adobe Reader 8.1 to Windows and new files sent to me (deptmt of motor vehicles, for example, electricity bill public) cannot be opened.  'Old' pdf IRS, et al. files are fine.  Have no idea what to do except DELETE drive and try to install an older version.  The old version, on your laptop, open their fine.  Is the message I get from Windows: Microsoft an unknown error occurred wrote in telling me to go on this forum.

Can you open Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].  If this isn't the case, tell us your version of Reader installed.

Or you can UNINSTALL (not DELETE), the current version of the player and download & install an earlier version of http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

  • Several copies of the Adobe Reader software are open by Windows Explorer without any request

I have a PC using Windows XPproSP3 as its operating system.  Adobe Reader v10.1.3 is installed on my machine. When to use Windows Explorer to view a directory containing several *. PDF files and I ask then my mouse over a file and a simple left click to select this file, Windows Task Manager shows me that the system immediately starts opening copies of AcroRd32.exe (in pairs) and continues to do so until the PC is out of memory.  The PDF in question is not actually opened.

  • software Adobe reader won't open sometimes

    Hello

September 16, 2014, there was an update to Adobe Reader version 11.0.09 (we are now at version 11.0.10). Since then, on one of my computers, I have the following problem: cannot open a PDF on the first try, if I (double) clicking on it (be it my record, Firefox or Thunderbird - messages attached, etc..) I have to (double) click on each file several times (sometimes even more than 10 times) and the file finally opens!

Each time, however, a process "AcroRd32.exe" is launched and rest (without having to open a new window on the screen), so I have to stop all these processes manually after a certain time.

I watch the web to find help. No question. I scanned my computer with several antivirus, anti-spyware and anti-malware protection software. Everything seems clean. I also uninstalled Adobe Reader and re-installed. The same problem. When I was able to do, I uninstalled Adobe Reader and replaced an earlier version version 11.0.09, and the problem has been resolved. This looks like a problem in the new version of Adobe Reader and it's more than annoying! I can not apparently find versions older software more...

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance!

    Cheers, Eric.

First thing I would try is to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].

P.S. you can find (almost) and the older version of Reader on the site of Adobe FTP ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/

  • Adobe Reader won't open no matter what PDF when clicked / double hit enter once.

Adobe Reader 11 does not open when I double click/hit enter on a PDF document. I need to hit enter several times to open a document once. This eventually created several AcroRd32.exe.

It is very annoying that I need to hit enter several times even to open a single PDF file.

That's how my task manager, even after the closure of any PDF file open.

    Capture.PNG

I tried several times to re-install adobe reader software, but the same question is repeated again and again.

    Help, please.

    Thank you

    Rahul

Try to disable the Protected Mode and see if the behavior changes.

  • Why software adobe reader won't let me view a public file online?

Screen Shot 2014-07-30 at 9.59.20 PM.pngI MacBookAir, safari version 6.1.4 and is as he goes. How will I be able to view the documents that I need?

I don't know why this message is in Japanese; It is said

Before display PDF documents in the browser, you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the end user license agreement, and then quit and relaunch the browser.

That and you will be able to view documents online.

  • Adobe Reader won't open since CS 5 expired event

I recently downloaded a trial CS 5, that it is now expired and I can't open pdf files without getting a dialog box asking me to buy CS 5.

    Can you help me?

I suspect that there is more to what you mentioned since Adobe Reader does not come with the trial.

My guess would be that Acrobat (that comes with the trial version) took over the file associations for PDF files. You can change this by changing the file associations in your operating system (but we do not know what it is since you have not mentioned).

Another thing to try would be, uninstall the trial download, CS5 and reinstall Adobe Reader. That should put your clear associations.

  • Why the Adobe reader print

Adobe Reader has stopped printing for me. I don't remember when the problem started, but until recently that I was able to print easily. Now, whenever I try to print any PDF file (old or new, including files I printed before), I have his message: "the document could not be printed", followed by "it has not chosen to print pages". This last statement is always false. I should add that I have no problems printing from other programs.

Today, I uninstalled Adobe Reader 11.0.08 and downloaded the program again. No difference when I tried to print.

What can I do to restore the print function?

Two things to try: Adobe Reader | Change | Preferences

    • Security (Enhanced) disable the Safe_mode at startup

Hello! When I try to open local or online PDF files, Adobe Reader opens aandd... rest like this. The program does not show me the document, and then closes.

I uninstalled and installed again, but the problem persists. This happens with all of my pdf files.

If you are on Windows (which we don't know), you can try to use Windows Explorer to navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement

  • Why the Adobe reader 9 can not skip to 11, and I see adobe 9.5.5 is more recent and FINAL release, so that if this final version has security hole, you won't fix it? Thank you!

I want to improve my adobe 9 to 11, but why it cannot be upgraded directly, the second question is since adobe 9.5.5 is more recent and FINAL output, so if this final release has security hole, adobe will not solve it? Thank you very much!

You are right. This isn't how it's done.  Upgrades are usually in this way, complete news, not a change to the existing product.
