• Why the mouse does not disappear when captions are turned off?

  Hello!

  My owner like apparently not captions when I record my demonstrations, so I have disabled this option when I capture from my demo. However, I discovered that my mouse movement does not capture when the subtitles are disabled, which means that I have to activate the mouse for each slide. It's more annoying than catastrophic, but no one knows why this is happening and how can I prevent? I checked that "capture the mouse" is selected in the recording preferences. I even turned off and back on, nothing works. Is this a bug or user error? (I'm leaning towards option B).

  I am at a total loss to explain why it happens. Have not really noticed myself.

  However, I might be able to ease the pain a little.

  I'm not sure it will work, but it can. After you save, select all of the slides in Storyboard mode or in the film. Then activate the mouse for each of them at a time. This part should work. I'm not sure, what if the movements of the mouse will be selected on registration. It may end up when the mouse is there, but you need to reset the coordinates for each slide. Ick!

  In this case, you could take a different point of view.

  Export captions as a Word document. Change the Word document and delete all the text in the legend. Then import them into empty on all of the legends. Then mount a legend and configure it as a transparent. The apply to all allows you to configure all the other legends in this way. It would still be there, but would be invisible. Can be less painful that way.

• Why the mouse keys does not work?

  I would use MouseKeys in windows to use my keyboard as a mouse, but I was not able to get the function runs.

  I am able to activate the MouseKeys without any problem, but by pressing the keys on the numeric keypad does not move the pointer of the mouse at all.

  I can see the mouse keys icon in the notification area of the taskbar of windows 7 and I am able to switch between the left and right mouse buttons using the / and - keys on the keyboard, but that's all I can do.

  Anyone have any ideas on what I can do?

  Hi, thanks for your response.

  I found the solution to my problem. Keys mouse was working, but I didn't know it because my mouse speed setting is set to minimum. Although it seemed that nothing was happening when I was pressing the keys on the numeric keypad, the mouse began in fact to move, but only very slowly.

  I adjusted my settings of the mouse, and the mouse keys now work properly.

  Some mice may have a button just behind the two main buttons that switches click or not to click. It's a hardware thing inside the nouse. Look at the manual of the mouse or the reviews on the mouse for more info...

• Why the Pan & Zoom Tool cannot start with the frame using photos

  I used the animation panning and zoom in Microsoft Movie Maker - and want the same ease of use in any other program (I find that he does a great job of a soundtrack placement and text/image) see options from the menu below...   I purchased Premiere Elements after watching a short video of the pan & zoom tool - but now I'm trying to use it it falls way short.

  Thanks John. I'm going a few more mindful of that and try to give some useful information. At the moment it displays the date very well when hovered, but I realized that this problem seems to come and go.

  If it is the synaptics mouse device you have installed there are a lot of questions similar to yours... I had a wireless mouse at the end of the account and use that now that I could not fix the problem... but... you accidentally pressed the FN and F7 as that often disables the device! (depending on the machine)

  Go to the hardware and peripheral control panel... and you should see several options under devices and printers... mouse option should be there... enter this option and see if you can solve the problem... good luck.

• Scroll wheel of the mouse in the preview of After Effects window (latest version) scrolls only a window when the value in a view of two windows, regardless of where the mouse is stationary.

  I had many problems with After Effects since the latest two updates, and after a CC full uninstall/reinstall, things are running. HOWEVER, After Effects seems to have lost the ability to use the mouse wheel to zoom in on more than a preview window. I use 2 views - Horizontal mainly, and regardless of the settings, window size, or I use the mouse, After Effects will only zoom on the left of the window. No matter where I move the mouse cursor, it ONLY zooms in/out left most window. Is there a setting I'm missing? Some I clicked on the button or setting I accidentally disabled?

  I use the Windows version of creative cloud.

  This issue (scroll wheel in a single zoom of multi-view Composition the first view panel) is a bug in after effects CC 2015 (13.6). We have a difficulty currently test for this bug and hope to come out with our next update which is tentatively scheduled for a month from now. We apologize for the disruption.

  Until the fix is available, shortcuts keyboard to zoom in (/ order and +/-) will try to zoom to the selected view.

• Does anyone know how to reach the Tower of paper and zoom effect they use on the TV news? Where they have a document on the screen and then zoom and highlight a part of it?

  I see this sort of thing all the time on the news. They talk of a letter or something like that, and then 'scream' a piece of it that zooms for the Viewer to read.

  Is this something that can be done in Premiere Pro or After Effects? If so, is there a tutorial for that?

  Lots of ways to do so; the final aspect is to you.

  But any change that will involve 2 copies of an image of the document (image, not pdf, text or Word document. Like a paper copy of scan).  At least one must have a resolution in pixels above the dimensions of the video image pixel.

  Example: your video is full HD - 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels.  Scan a 8.5 in. by 11 in the document at 300 dpi and you get an image that is 2550 pixels 3300 pixels.  You put two copies of this document scanned into your sequence of Pr image stacking them on separate video tracks.  A scale down in size to show the entire document and leave one full size.  Be sure to keep the size of the one at the top of the scale.  To the small scale visible under the copy full size, put on a mask or garbage matte on the waist to reveal the text you want to finally show the public.  Reduce the hidden copy and place it in the frame to match the document below.  Animate the scale of the above 100% copy to get the desired zoom effect.

  Add borders, caches, mattes of color or anything else to get the look and the desired effect.

  There are other ways to do so; Some may even be easier.  That's how I'd do.

• Lock the cross zoom speed

  I have four pictures that I want to pass through the screen at the same speed. Due to timing problem, the last of these four peaks should appear shorter time line. What makes the cross zoom effect transition to maintain a higher speed across the screen. Is it possible to block the effect of PACE, so that the Cup/shortening, the peak and the effect does not affect the speed of the effect? Or y at - there a way around this problem that has to do with the points and output parameter?

  You can click-and - drag on the move to change its duration. Note: This is easier if it buzzes on the timeline to see what they do clearly.

  Today, my mouse works fairly suddenly.  I had not installed a new software or hardware which could have come into conflict with the mouse.  In addition, I tested in the other USB ports on my computer nothing works.  The mouse works on our family another computer, is not that the mouse is broken.  Other USB devices on my computer work always correctly, so I am at a loss as to why the mouse leave so suddenly. In addition, it seems that the system restore lacks the previous points can I restore, while the option is out.

  Do that, does not work.  I noticed that I have a Code 43 error in Device Manager now if that helps at all.  I tried to reinstall my chipset also for USB drivers, but that did not help either.

  {edit} I managed to solve the problem.  It seems that my 1394 port was interfering with my ports USB in a certain way.  I tried uninstalling the driver for that and restart and now the mouse works fine.  Thank you very much for your help!

• I'm looking for a mouse over effect in Muse

  I'm looking for a "mouse over" effect, where an image on the home page displays a picture different when mouse hoovers over the image. I can't find the correct feature in Muse CC 2014. The second effect I'm looking for is the ability to start a soundbite (wav file) when mouse hoovers over the image, but I don't think that this possibility is included in the Muse. Can someone help me find my way?

  Hi Rob

  You can get the mouse hover effect if you are using content as fill the rectangle, where you can define States and select different formats for the same content with defined State.

  For audio, you must use a custom code to achieve this, add the audio file to your site and then link the audio files with custom code, you can insert it using object > insert HTML, but to play automatically with the mouse hover would need more customization with javascript.

• When I move my mouse, the screen zooms in or the pointer shapes

  I have a laptop, I use a mouse pad, not a real mouse.  Often, when I'm in a document or on the internet, if I move my finger on the mouse pad, my screen zooms or scrolls up/down instead of moving the pointer on the screen.  Also, when I move my finger on the pad, the pointer in forms (sometimes a little swirly icon) and it won't let me move my mouse.

  I didn't change the settings, my mouse has started to do this as soon as I bought it.

  Almost all laptops nowadays use the sides of the touchpad for fast scrolling or zooming.  In general, there is an icon in the State system (normally at the bottom right of the screen) bar, which will control.  You can usually change the amount of space is the space reserved for scrolling to the top and turn it off completely.  This functionality is provided by the manufacturer of the laptop, so there is no place you can go to Windows to do this, you may need to consult the documentation for your computer if you do not find the program sitting on the system tray.
