Why didn't - is no longer the firefox emblem that appears in the top bar?

It of disconcerting not to know what browser I use, like others do not display their emblem.
It is the same on both of my laptops, one is XP & one is Windows 10.

Hi, Horace, the icon is part of the title bar, which normally shows the full title of the current page (the tab is too small to display the full title). You can activate the title bar on using the pane customize, there's a button for it in the lower left corner: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars.

If wastes too much vertical height, you could install a light theme to add a color or image behind the toolbar area to make the distinctive browser. The selection is outstanding: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/themes/

There could be other workaround solutions which are a little more complicated to install...
