  Just go in the Panel. Programs and features and then click on the left of "view installed updates" and find Windows Internet Explorer 9, and then you can uninstall it.  You should know that it is installed automatically via Windows Update, so you'll need to keep it to be reinstalled.  I think you can go Windows Update manually, and then it will ask you, then you can't deny it there and it should stick.

  Hi, you can go back to the old window Options by: Type Subject: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to browser.preferences.inContent and double-click on it to change the "value" from true to False, taking care to not to change what anyone else.   Update Firefox 29, the same user interface is used for all types of installations. Changes to the UI are for mobile devices, at the expense of desktop / laptop users. Stupid idea, but we're stuck with it until Firefox falls into the 'other' category graphics use or pie charts. Fundamentally unworthy to have its own category more.
