When this happens, the title bar on Firefox versions 8-10 and the taskbar at the bottom let images from the list of bookmarks which do not disappear (at least that I have use F11 mode full screen to clear away from the image and bring it back to normal). If I use a Matrox video card, it doesn't. Why is this?

  Try turning off hardware acceleration.

  If you see CJK (Chinese/Japanese) characters on the title bar of Firefox or Windows task bar, then that can happen if Firefox go to encoding UTF-16 for some reason any.

  Hi hamid, in order to change this enter on: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named browser.urlbar.unifiedcomplete. Double-click it and change its value to false.

  New wifi router installed. Because then I can usually connect sites OK but when getting around a site or to another, I lose connection even though Windows said signal is excellent. Toggle heals the problem temporarily. Two tablets under the same roof using wifi even have no problem. There is no consistency in when the problem arises in any session. It happens in Firefox and Thunderbird. Close and restart the program does not help.

  I tried the reset and it was not good. Then I learned that my wife had a similar problem with his ipad I did what I should have done at the beginning, I restarted the router again. Hey presto, problem solved.

• Whenever I open Firefox, I find that there is no search engine in the search bar, and I have to reset or start in safe mode to make them reappear. Why?

  There is no EnginSearch search bar in the top right of the page and none appears when I try to restore the default values or manage search engines. To return to the search bar, I usually have to reset Firefox or start in safe mode, but this doesnm looking for a solution to this problem.

  It is a conversion tool - Vixy Freecorder. Not sure if that was the cause, but I uninstalled and not had any problems since.
