I tried different things that have been proposed on Java.com and Microsoft.com but nothing has worked. I have newest Java and had no problem in downloading. I appreciate any suggestions.

  The initial problem was never solved?  I still can't get Java to work and I tried everything above except set up a new user account that has no meaning.  Using Windows 8 to 64-bit, Java 32 bits and I have installed and uninstalled several times on the desktop.  The site I can access works fine on my Windows 7 laptop and I have the same settings in Java on two laptops.

  According to these, Tell Me More uses Internet Explorer.  Have you tried to use IE?  If this isn't the case, please do.  You may need to install Flash Player for IE as IE and Firefox uses two different types of plugin.  If you need to install Flash Player for IE, start IE and navigate to get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download and install, Flash Player for IE.
