  In most cases, the print size - especially on the web - is controlled with preview before printing.  Print preview is a feature of most browsers and web editors.

  You need to just uninstall and reinstall the software and drivers for the printer.

  They may have been corrupted.

• My copies are always striated when I print from the ADF

  When I use my driver on my 8500 AIO, copies are seeded, but agreed when I use the scanner glass, the copies come out well.  I tried to clean the feeder, but I was unable to get rid of the streaks.  I used alcohol to friction on the rubber rollers and used compressed gas (spray cleaner) to try out any dirt.  Any suggestions on how to solve this problem are greatly appreciated

  When I print from the internet, the page layout is changed even if there is space on the paper to print an entire line, say photos and captions.  Also, it shows in preview print and happens when I print from two different computers.  My option is sent to "keep the page layout.

  Expand applications and Services logs > Microsoft > Windows > PrintService > operational.

  You get some in the system log.

  You must select the 'proper' printer you want to use the catalogue-> name dialog box. This XPS 'printer' is the default in Firefox on Windows, until you select another "printer". I use the quotes, because a "printer" can be a physical printer (material, which prints on paper) or a virtual printer (software, which is in a file - format pdf, xps, etc.).

  Hi, thanks for your time! I have problems printing from FireFox. I use PayPal for print shipping label (I sell on Ebay) and he's a few weeks that I have to use IE to print from the Internet. Nothing is printing from Firefox. And since it is my browser FAVORITE, it's boring. I have the latest Java, reinstalled my drivers (uninstall and install fees). It works with Internet Explorer. I have to use Internet explorer to print from the Internet... Can you help me to not use IE anymore?

  Sorry tkdchick25, I see where you have Win7. Just click the start menu > Control Panel > programs and features > IE9 are updates once installed display that you are here in the list of updates and uninstall.  This will go back you to your previous version of Internet Explorer.  Let me know if it helps.  Thank you!

  As OEM HP is responsible for the good operation of the printer and their drivers. Check with
  HP support, their documentation online and drivers and ask in their forums.

  Sound like a hardware issue-setting up the printer using the HP installation methods.

  ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

  Follow these methods.

  Method 1: Follow these steps:

  (a) click Start, Control Panel, Add and remove programs.

  (b) click on set program access and defaults, select custom, select Internet Explorer as your web browser by default.

  (c) click OK.

  Method 2: Follow the steps in the article, if you are using Internet Explorer.
