Width if Sidebar area

Hello

I'm on version 4.1.1.00.23 of the Apex.  I have a page where I use several parts of the sidebar on the entire page. I would like to extend the width of the sidebar regions. How can I do this? Let me know if you

need more details.

Thank you

The sidebar area model is not expected to be used this way. Use a different region model (or create a custom one) and control the layout using the attributes of the region and/or CSS.

For more information, we need to know what theme is used, what are the attributes of layout area and what the final result needs to look like. Suggest that you share an example on apex.oracle.com we can experience.

    I think it happens started when I upgraded to the 4.0 RC version and then downgraded back to 3.6.8.

    When I open the sidebar of history, there is nothing there and I can't find anything with a search. Same thing with the library; the history section of the library is completely empty.

    There is even no pages visited in the current session. It's only permanently white.

    HOWEVER!

    The address bar AutoComplete feature still looking for my story. Pages visited during the current session are also listed in the AutoComplete... but only for the duration of the session. They are not saved.

    In addition, frustrating, AutoComplete does not appear unless at least one of the matches is saved in my story.

    My Favorites are working very well. These are my lists recently closed tabs and windows; If I have a page, close the tab and restart Firefox, it won't be in my address bar autocomplete, but it will be in my recently closed tabs.

  • When I click on the bookmarks that I added to the bookmarks toolbar, the new page opens in the sidebar area and the page I was on remains open and the URL of the page I was on leftovers in the URL box?

    Refer to my question.

    Opening in the sidebar is the default action for bookmarks created via a "Mark this Page" link or button on a Web site. Make sure you use many methods to "Bookmark this Page" located in Firefox instead.

    These bookmarks do a right-click and select Properties, then turn off the preference for the load this bookmark in the sidebar, then click Save.

  • A document with 300px height and width with a 300 PPI are 4.17 Indiana?

    I am totally new to Illustrator and must make a document that will be placed in a magazine advertising (it is a free investment, so why, I'm just trying to do it myself). I can get around in PhotoShop and Illustrator is confusing to me. The dimensions of the ad are supposed to be:

    l 2.33 "x 7.5" h

    700 x 2250 pixel

    When I create a new document in Illustrator, leaving the adjustment effects of pixelation in the section advanced at 300ppi, if I change the units set to pixels, 300 for width and height set, then change back units inches, it is said that the width and height are in 4.17.

    Why is this?

    I'm so confused :-/

    .

    Print jobs don't use pixels.

    Set up the document at 2.33 'x 7.5'

    Click on the "Advanced" option in the new Document window, and then make sure that color Mode is CMYK and then pixelation effects is set to high (300ppi) and you're done.

    You can't think in terms of pixels for the print jobs.

    Illustrator, being a vector app, is independent of resolution. In other words, that it does not use pixels at all unless you place a raster image in Illustrator or use a pixelation effect in Illustrator. the pixelation effect setting ensures all raster element created in Illustrator is created at the correct resolution.

    Try to build your tables with standard, rather than page layout mode.

  • How to change the width of the navigation area

    Is it possible to change the width of the area of Navigation Alternative 1? I use it to post links to other pages, but the descriptions are hit three or four lines, making it bulky.

    Hello

    I went to my theme 2 app and adjusted the model:

    <table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" summary="" class="t2NavigationRegionAlternative1" id="#REGION_STATIC_ID#" #REGION_ATTRIBUTES# style="width:500px;">
    <tr>
    <td class="t2RegionHeader" valign="bottom">#TITLE#</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td class="t2RegionBody" valign="top">#BODY#</td>
    </tr>
    </table>

    and it has certainly made the wider region. Have you tried?

  • How to change the Login area

    I would like to know how to change the size of the region of Login and its place.

    This problem concerns oracle12, apex 4.2 and html5 theme.

    Ziut,

    This is the closest I could come to your comp.  The simplest implementation, I found was:

    1. A region has added to the Information
    2. Place the Login area in a Sidebar area model
    3. Kept the two regions in the same Point on the screen and the same grid.

    I have attempted to substitute the CSS for the Login region but made very little progress and make a slurry in a perspective of support.  You should always keep in mind that another person will have to support your claim, a day, and play the more you with him, it may be more difficult to maintain if it is not well documented.

    / * Tips for Elastic layouts

    1. Since the elastic layouts overall size is based on the user's default font size, they are more unpredictable. Used correctly, they are also more accessible for those who need larger fonts given the length of the line remains proportionate.

    2. sizing of the divs in this provision are based on 100% font size in the body element. If you decrease the overall size of the text by using a font size: 80% on the body element or the #container, remember that the complete provision will reduce proportionally. You can increase the widths of the divs to compensate for this.

    3. If the sizing of fonts is changed in different quantities on each div instead of on the overall design (ie: #sidebar1 is a font size of 70% and #mainContent has a font size of 85%), this will change proportionally each of the overall size of divs. You can adjust the base on your final sizing of fonts.

    / * Sidebar1″ tips:

    1 be aware that if you set a value for the font size on this div, the width of the div will be adjusted accordingly.

    2. as we work in ems, it is preferable not to use the filling in the sidebar itself. It will be added to the width for browsers compatible standards creating a real unknown width.

    / * MainContent tips:

    1. If you give this div #mainContent a value of different size of the div # sidebar1″, the margins of the #mainContent div will be based on the font size and the width of the div #sidebar1 depend on the size of the font. You can adjust the values of these divs.

    2. the space between the mainContent and sidebar1″ is created with the left on the mainContent div margin regardless of how content div the sidebar1″ contains, the space of the columns will remain. You can remove the left margin if you want the #mainContent div text to fill the space of #sidebar1 when the content of #sidebar1 is complete.

    3. to avoid falling of float, you may have to test to determine the size of the image/approximate maximum element because this provision is based on the calibration of fonts the user combined with the values that you set. However, if the user has their browser game lower than normal font size, less space will be available in the #mainContent div that you see on the test.

    4. in the Internet Explorer conditional comment below, the zoom property is used to give the mainContent "hasLayout". This avoids several specific IE bugs that may occur.

    It is caused by margins in your text #sidebar2 styles:

    .twoColElsLtHdr #sidebar2 h3 {}
    margin-left: 10px; / * remove this * /.
    right margin: 20px; * remove it * /.
    text-align: left;
    do-family: Arial, without serif.
    do-size: 200%;
    top of the margin: 5px; / * remove this * /.
    padding: 0;
    }
    .twoColElsLtHdr #sidebar2 p {}
        margin-left: 10px;  / * remove this * /.
    right margin: 20px;  / * remove this * /.
    text-align: left;
    do-size: 100%;
    do-family: Arial, without serif.
    margin-bottom: 5px; / * remove this * /.
    top of the margin: 5px; / * remove this * /.
    padding: 0;
    }
    .twoColElsLtHdr #sidebar2 ul li {}
    do-family: Arial, without serif.
    do-size: 100%;
    make-style: normal;
    padding-right: 10px; / * remove this * /.
    padding-left: 0px;
    margin-left: 10px; / * remove this * /.
    text-align: left;
    right margin: 20px; / * remove this * /.
    }

    FYI: The lists are indented with default browser margins & padding.  If you want to remove these default settings, you must zero padding & margins.

    #sidebar2 ul li {}

    padding: 0;

    margin: 0;

    }

  • Nothing in the worm 29 bookmarks sidebar. How to bring back my favorites?

    I have my favorites in folders. They are always in the bookmarks drop-down menu, but not in the sidebar. Nothing does highlight or shows by mousing over the Favorites sidebar area.

    Problems with bookmarks and history does not properly can be caused by a corrupted database places.sqlite file.

    You can check for problems with the database places.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

  • Windows 7 glow and screen the solitaire games area.

    Is there a way to turn off the game to the focus of map glowing in 64-bit Windows 7 solitaire?  And to reduce the width of the area of the map?  Wide screen is great for movies, but it really lacks when you play a game.  It resizes, but always keep the same proportion, and with wide screen monitors, it's a pain to look at.  XP versions had not either of these defects.

    Hello

    ·        What happens when you open the game? Is - this full screen?

    Follow the steps mentioned.

    a. click the start menu and type Games Explorer in the start search box and press ENTER.

    b. click Solitaire and click the double window mode that is present on the upper right corner of the screen in the solitaire window close close button.

    (c) that resizes the lonely window and opens like this whenever you start playing the game.

    You can change the appearance of the background of the display and the deck of cards by clicking the appearance of change which is present in the game.

    For more information, see the article below.

  • Change background Windows Sidebar

    Initially, the background of the sidebar of Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 (64-bit) was a transparent extension of the background of the desktop (photo).  No known reason, the background of the sidebar changed to solid white and seems to be above (coating) wallpaper (apparently under sidebar area).  The wallpaper is unchanged; It now seems to be covered by the sidebar with its own white solid.  Gadgets can be added and removed without problem (gadgets working properly when it is present).  The closure of the sidebar, the wallpaper in the sidebar appears and fills the screen filling a transparent image.  How can I get the sidebar settings to the initial setting, such as the background of the sidebar (with OPEN sidebar) is basically transparent so that the wallpaper is displayed in the sidebar?  I cannot find any setting of the option / which restores the side bar to its original state, transparent background.

    The display of the sidebar is the same to the left or right of your desktop.  I have the max value display resolution: 1680 x 1050 with a photo as background 1680 x 1050.  I have "the sidebar is always above other windows" option is NOT selected.  I tried other background images more low resolution.

    Customizing desktop color corrected and the aspect of a problem.  Choose the Windows Vista Basic color scheme.  Start missed this info provided through the previous question above.

    Hi kaveman60,

    Check if you have the same problem using an another user account on the computer. If necessary use this document to create a new user account. This document will also be very convenient if you find that this problem was caused by a corrupted user account.
