width of track scene

I am trying to trace the width of the stage, but I can't figure out how to get the stage object. This code produces a null object reference error.

Well I don't know what you are going based on the code that you pasted as the Blueberry variable would never create in code. So I guess you want to set the variable of blueberries on the width of the stage and then access them later? If this is the case,

(forgive the formatting, collage of FB on Mac's never fine in the forums)

http://ns.Adobe.com/MXML/2009.

xmlns:s = "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark".

xmlns:MX = "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx" creationComplete = "windowedapplication1_creationCompleteHandler (event)" > "

Import mx.events.FlexEvent;

import flash.display.Stage;

private var Blueberry: Number;

protected function windowedapplication1_creationCompleteHandler(event:FlexEvent):void

{

This.Blueberry = this.width;

}

private void getApplicationWidthSomeOtherTime (): number

{

Return this.blueberry;

}

]]>

And you call just getApplicationWidthSomeOtherTime when you want than the width. If you could for example

trace (getApplicationWidthsomeOtherTime ());

  • How the neck down width of track?

    I am relatively new to the map layout (which means most of my drawings so far have been fairly simple). I'm working on my first layout of the USB and examples of manufacturer all have a width of little trace leaving the IC pad, then growing to the ~ 27mils then decreases to the level of the USB connector. I also saw these types of traces in power applications. How do you achieve this technique of layout in Ultiboard without the use of copper pours? Or if anyone has other ideas on the willingness of USB, maybe a tool or Ultiboard functionality, I'm not familiar with which facilitates differential traces to the road. Joined an illustration of the technique, I am trying to achieve.

    Thank you for your time

    This can be done in several different ways.

    One is built in automatic shrinkage of path in Ultiboard. In the global preferences tab PCB design there is a trace of Auto shrink checkbox. Allowing it should produce the desired results as it is designed to decrease the width of the tracks automatically to avoid any error of DRC. Because it depends on the DRC and parameters of width of minimum follow-up that you need to make sure you have them put correctly into editor netlist for the nets.

    Another method is to change while routing. If you change the width by using the drop-down list on the toolbar settings to draw, the width of the track will change immediately while you continue routing. I find that this method is much easier with the follow - me router you can set exactly where the width of the track changes.

    The last option is to change once the routing is almost finished. You can go back and double click on any section of track and change the width of the track in the general tab.

  • How a loaded swf sets the height and width of the scene?

    I tried this after the child was loaded, but it does not work:

    stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;

    stage.stageWidth = 700;

    stageHeight = 600;

  • Dynamic text field showing only the number 2.

    I am writing a scrolling shooting game and I have a dynamic text field that keeps the score. Running inside an ENTER_FRAME event listener, it updates all the images. By tracing the variable "score", I get the good numbers appearing in the output tab, but on the screen, I see only the number 2. It doesn't matter what position in the number, it is (ie: 20, or 10372 or 521), this digit will be displayed. If there is no number 2 in the partition, the field shows that the word "" Score: "."

    The variable is declared as such:

    var score: int = 0;

    "The text field is called scorecard and is set to"Classic text"and a dynamic text ' and it's 638 pixels wide (almost the entire width of the scene).

    Here's the code to update the scorecard:

    scoreCard.text = "Note:" + score.

    trace (score);

    The track was simply put in to see if the score was being counted until properly, what is.

    I also tried to eliminate "Score:" and simply used:

    scoreCard.text = score.toString ();

    and got the same results.

    Any ideas of what could be the cause? From everything I've read, this method should work.

  • Disorders of the highway

    Hi, I'm new to the use of Ultiboard (this is my first project), but I did the tutorial and feel a little uncomfortable with her after tinkering with it for a while now. I drew my design on Multisim and now I have problems my Highway to work. It starts and is above in 2 seconds without a single trace. That's what I've tried so far: adding layers, adjust the width of the trace, adjustment of distance of the pads and play with the settings of the highway. It won't let me connect my nets either manually. I'm about to just get rid of all the nets and hands-free, but it would be very difficult because I have 236 connections. I have attached my file, thanks for any help.

    Hi JustinMoon,

    Your default trace width is set to 8000 mil, this trace size will cause a lot of errors in the DRC. Turn on the spreadsheet view, if it isn't already by selecting the menu view > view worksheet, select the threads tab and click on the heading of the width of the track , the column will be highlighted when you change the width for a net other nets will change also. The default width of track to Ultiboard's 10mil

  • Inserting a layer of static images in Pocket video

    Hello

    I am new to AE.

    I am changing a doc sequence where the subject is moving and talking into the night in a relatively well-lit urban environment.

    It is fellowed profile by a pocket camera - full frame, 4K.

    Question: What would be the best way to insert images in backgrounod, so that they remain static, as it transmits by - as an ad on a wall or a lamp post. It must be inserted in the post.

    There is one more chance sequences filmed soon. Is there something to do during the filming in order to insert these images in a message - add green markers in the background at the location, for example?

    Thank you very much

    16mm

    Here are some elements to consider when planning add items to hand held footage. I will list in the order that I consider as many things when I'm planning VFX shots. I did this kind of thing for more than 40 years and it works pretty well for me.

    1. Planning the movement of the camera so that there are a lot of fixed geometry in the scene to follow (you can't keep anything in a shot of the ocean with the surf to rush in or a shot of a sidewalk full of people shot with a telephoto lens)
    2. Keep the camera as still as possible
    3. Shoot at a higher level than the standard frame rate if it is possible to obtain more information to follow (59.94 preferable plus 29.97 which is worth much more than 24 or 23.976)
    4. If your camera has rolling shutter problems and most consumer and prosumer cameras, do everything you can to minimize the
    5. Manage lens distortions using lenses or lenses that do not distort the edges of your frame
    6. Avoid camera movements jerky which introduces motion blur

    Follow these six rules for the use of the camera and you'll have a pretty good chance to snatch successfully track.

    Now let's talk about the composition. It's more on the concepts of a list of rules.

    First concept: If you have a mobile camera and you want to insert flat elements in the scene to attach to an object in the scene to try and get this object quite near the place of the unit at least once in the shot. For example, you have a picture on a wall the actor goes in front and you want to replace the image. You should frame this one if you get a complete view of the image at some point in the shot and it is close enough to the camera room. You can correct perspectives using tools such as corners, but if the paint is at an angle of 60 ° to the camera and more it's going to be difficult to get a good lead. It is important that you pay attention to the perspective of the scene and the evolution of this point of view as the camera movements.

    Second concept: If you are going to have to separate something of the background, like your player to walk, you must be aware of the background behind the actor. It is the simplest and it is different from that of the actor skin, hair and color of clothing more it will be easy to separate the actor from the background. The techniques that you will use are rotoscoping or procedural mattes generated from the color channels (chroma).

    If you plan to insert 3D objects in the scene that interact with the actor or the game you must put enough elements of fixed geometry in the scene for the camera Tracker calculate the chance in perspective and parallax. If your shot framed the actor in 70% of the image, and he walks around a neighborhood with cars parked with reflections in the windows, followed by traffic carried in the street and people on the sidewalk, moving in all directions, it is going to be very difficult to find enough detail in the shot to get a good camera. The simpler the better shot for camera monitoring.

    I could go on and write several chapters of a book on how establish and put in place this kind of effects shots, but it will help you get started.

    When you get your film into the post office, you must first make a rough picture edit so that you do not spend any time working on images that you do not use. A few images at each end of the shooting (handles) are OK but followed by a 2 minute which was hand held shooting where you actor walk half a block is a crazy race. If there are 200 frames in the middle of this show where you want your player to pass something that put you in the scene, then you cut the blow to those 200 frames work on it, then cut back to the original shooting.

    Once you get a hang of Garni you know what kind of follow-up work best for things that you want to insert. If you insert flat elements as a substitute a sign then angle pin followed by AE or Mocha is probably more effective. If you do a lot of rotoscoping too separate the actor from the background so that you can insert something behind him, then you might want to stabilize (Warp not stabilize, it's another thing entirely) the shot. Means that you lock a part of shooting in this position, so it does not move to make it easier to work on stabilization. Can do you the roto, add elements, then remove the stabilization of the shot he and apply the effects and the work of roto.

    If you want to insert a 3D object in the scene, then you must trail camera Board. I've done several shots of shots where I stabilize the shooting to make roto, back the motion motion on the game, then camera follow and add my 3D elements in the shot and use the roto as hiding approach for the 3D element.

    There are a lot of tutorials on the web that show how to use these techniques. If you type track or stabilize or camera track or track in mocha in the search field help in the upper right corner of the AE you will be directed to a good amount of community resources that will help get started. Without actually seeing the shot you want to take, it is difficult to exactly point you in the right direction. If I was teaching these techniques in a class, I expect to spend at least a few days of class time goes on how to put in place and pull the shot, and then the rest of the week would be spent on the basics of tracking and roto and masking. Then, a day or etc., adding shadows color correction and the rest things you need to do to sell this kind of VFX shot.

    If it were my project I would budget about 2 hours for each sequence of 20 seconds where the actor passed a CGI element.

    The best way to start is to just fire a few shots with your phone and try some of the different monitoring techniques. Try inserting just a simple text layer or a solid. For example, here's a very quick test shot showing how adding text to a wall using the camera Tracker and use a solid 3D as a track matte for the text. Sorry, there is no audio data.

    Here is another addition to a puppet of C4D in a camera track scene.

    Two struggling with my phone to use as a very quick demo for a class I was teaching.

  • Sarhunt code for resizing and Adobe Muse

    Hey everybody,

    First of all, I want to say thank you to the people who have helped me already. You are really a great community and a great resource for beginners like me.

    Secondly, I have trouble with the resizing/scaling. I have discovered an old post on dynamic resizing/zooming by sarhunt. The code works when I Preview in Adobe animate. But when I do drag the file .oam published in my Adobe Muse Web site and then get an overview of the Web site, is no longer resizes. Can someone help explain where I could go wrong and what I can do to fix the problem?

    Currently, I'm in CompositionReady:

    var stageHeight = sym.$('Stage').height (); Set a variable for the height of the stage

    SYM. $("#Stage") .css ({/ / set the origin of the transformation to always fit in the upper left corner of the scene})

    Thank you.

    Muse currently does not support animations of edge resizing in the browser. Even if the animation on the edge resizes very well, after that the MCO is placed in Muse we have no way to know that it must be resized, to remedy this take us the height and width of the size of the animation in Muse and fixed the iframe (i.e. OAM) to these dimensions.

    We are looking into being able to support this feature in the future. In the meantime, there is unfortunately only one size, the animation can be when placed in Muse.

    Sorry for the inconvenience,

  • Create a "movable" image in Flash CS6 Pro

    Hi people,

    First, while the answer would be great, I also hope for people to point me in the right direction to find those answers myself...

    I'm new on CS6 and relatively innexperienced with flash in general (certainly new AS3).

    I work my way through a project and at the present time, I am trying to create a background image or layer, it's great that my canvas, the idea being that you can click and drag the mouse to look around him, but do NOT pull the edges of the image on the Web (I'm sure that there's a better word than canvas also).

    My main problem is that I am struggling with terminology, so while I know what I want to achieve, put in words what experts understand or gives google relevant hits, proves to be a problem.

    I hope someone can help.

    Tim.

    It is quite easy but will require little code. Here is a sample file that you can watch. (which we call the 'Stage' canvas).

    In this example, I made a document size 200 x 200 with an object is 400 x 400. What does the code, is understand how much the image is as the stadium. It will then calculate a rectangle size and position where the object is allowed to drag.

    Example of FLA (recorded in CS4)

    The code is pretty simple:

    what the code to run when the mouse button

    mygfx.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, handleMouseDownF);

    what code to execute when the mouse is released or leave him

    stage.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP, handleMouseUpF);

    function handleMouseDownF(e:MouseEvent):void

    {

    get the extra area, we need that it is allowed

    move in (size of the object under the stage size)

    var extraWidth:int = int(mygfx.width-stage.stageWidth);

    var extraHeight:int = int(mygfx.height-stage.stageHeight);

    Use that extra space to make a rectangle of negative value

    mygfx.startDrag (false, new Rectangle)

    (-1 * extraWidth), / / x

    (-1 * extraHeight), / / y

    extraWidth, / / width

    extraHeight)); / / height

    }

    function handleMouseUpF(e:MouseEvent):void

    {

    mygfx.stopDrag ();

    }

    To start I have converted the big ugly object into a symbol (F8), a MovieClip. I then clicked on this MovieClip, and in the properties panel, I gave her the name of the instance 'mygfx '. This allows me to access this object in the code just by using its name, as seen in the code above. I try to keep things simple.

    I have attached a few listeners for the MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN events (the user is holding down the button on the left of the mouse on the object) and MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP (the user let go the left button). As you can see, I use a different function for these 2 different events.

    The math is easy, but the concept of what is happening here is a little more difficult to explain.

    When I created the symbol, I used the upper left default record. This means that any time you move the object on the stage, the x / y position reported in the Info Panel will be the location ot the "upper left" object. See the help section if you don't know what are the points of alignment.

    With upper left registration and the object placed at x: 0, y: 0 on the stage, you can see 1/4 of the upper-left corner of the image. In this case, you can use a special function called "startDrag()" on any display object to allow the user to drag. To keep the screen, you can specify a rectangular area, that she should be confined. This is where the simple calculation.

    I subtracted the size of the stages of the large size of the image that told me how many pixels to the left and to the top of the trail has been allowed to go. You want to subtract the size of the stage, reduce you the amount, it can move so that he will not put off the stage. We know that the scene is 200 x 200 and the object is double to 400 x 400, up to 400-200 = 200. So I want to make the limiting Rectangle (-200, -200, 200, 200) encompassing. This means that I can move the negative object 200 pixels and negative left 200 pixels. If you change the size of the object the calculation will calculate the exact amount (as long as the image is larger than the height/width of the scene). Just keep it simple for now.

    Finally, when the user leaves the mouse dragging is stopped with the function "stopDrag()' to display of items.

  • Bug of the scrollbar with script "scale to fit".

    Hello

    I meet some sort of bug with this nice script "appropriate size":

    http://sarahjustine.com/2013/04/08/create-scale-to-fit-projects-with-Adobe-edge-animate/

    I create an animation simple, consisting of a single image (step = 1024px X 3000px) with the script (see below) to do the test: everything works, the animation is snug, BUT when I resize the browser, the scroll bar keeps its original size, even if the height of the animation is very low.

    The bug concerns all popular browsers (version desktop and mobile *) except chrome.

    * I use this meta: < = happy 'viewport' meta name = "width = device-width " >

    example:

    animation = 3000px original height

    the scroll bar height = 3000px

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

    animation-scaled height = 600px

    height of the scroll bar does not change = 3000px

    I use no CSS, I just publish the animation with EDGE CC (not 1.5).

    Hey Oliver,.

    Try to encapsulate another div around the div. #Stage I think that scroll bars appear with the Animate script will recalculate the height of the parent, because if that parent is the body it is not adjusted for he thinks it is the initial height of your composition. If your HTML page will look like this:

    I found that I had to apply the height property to get it to hide the scroll bar, but the value is obsolete as it gets when even crushed by the script. Who give a shot.

  • Animation reactive with script - not ok in Wordpress

    Hello

    I followed tutorial Adobe Product Manager Sarah Justine (http://sarahjustine.com) on how to make an animation reactive. She has created a script that seems to work perfectly when you resize your browser or use a handheld device. Fits into the 'Stage' component:

    (select compositionReady in the drop-down list and add the code below)

    var stageHeight = sym.$('Stage').height (); Set a variable for the height of the stage

    SYM. $("#Stage") .css ({/ / set the origin of the transformation to always fit in the upper left corner of the scene})

    'transform-origin': "0 0".

    "- ms - transformation-origin": "0 0".

    ' - webkit - transform-origin ":"0 0".

    ' - moz - transform-origin ":"0 0".

    "transform - o - origin": "0 0"

    });

    function scaleStage() {}

    var point = sym.$('Stage'); Define a reusable variable to refer to the scene

    var parent = sym.$('Stage').parent (); Define a reusable variable to reference the container parent of the scene

    var parentWidth = stage.parent () .width (); Get the parent of the soundstage

    var stageWidth = stage.width (); Retrieves the width of stage

    var desiredWidth = Math.round(parentWidth * 1); Set the new width of the scene as it evolves

    var scale = (desiredWidth / stageWidth); Set a variable to calculate the new width of the scene he puts on the scale

    Resize the stage!

    internship. CSS ('transform', ' scale (' + scale + ')');

    internship. CSS ('- o - transform', ' scale (' + scale + ')');

    internship. CSS (' - SM - transform ', ' scale (' + scale + ')');

    internship. CSS (' - webkit - transform ', ' scale (' + scale + ')');

    internship. CSS (' - moz - transform ', ' scale (' + scale + ')');

    internship. CSS ('- o - transform', ' scale (' + scale + ')');

    parent. Height(stageHeight * Rescale); Reset the height of the container parent for objects below will be redistributed as the ADJUSTABLE height

    }

    When the browser is also

    $(window) .one ("Resize", function() {}

    scaleStage();

    });

    When the first load of the page

    $(document) .ready (function () {}

    scaleStage();

    });

    My problem is that I use Wordpress and the plugin Animate edge and when I insert the animation it is the script seems to do nothing. I'm not a coder, so I have no idea of what might happen. I'll make this post on the Wordpress Plug-in support page and see's that the developer has ideas. I'll report on this subject.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated because we believe that this script is very useful!

    Concerning

    Johan

    Now it works!

    Talk with the developer Timm Jansen Cork we returned to his proposal that you had only to take away the #:

    The solution is actually quiet, simple, just remove the # in front of "#Stage" in

    SYM. $("#Stage") .css so he told sym. $("étape") .css. This should solve all of this and it should also work with shortcodes.

    Why he works all of a sudden I have no idea. I probably screwed up somewhere and I apologise for taking precious time of peoples.

    Thank you Sarah for a good script and Timm Jansen for implementing implemented in WP.

  • Screen is blurry when resizing the browser window (IE)

    Hello

    I encounter this curious problem: the exported content seems hazy when the window of the browser (IE 8) is maximized, but looks thin and crispy when the window is resizesed to a smaller size. I got to the html code. This issue could be related to that described in this post: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3605847#3605847

    I use captivate 5. Any suggestion is appreciated.

    Best regards

    Jan

    I don't think there is a bug in Captivate. I think it's a bug in the navigation software. He claims ONLY resize this area exposed OUTSIDE of the content, but it is actually change the dimensions of the Captivate movie ever so slightly at the same time.

    Try to go in the HTM code published with a text editor and changing the dimensions width and height specified it for the Captivate SWF to play. Generally, these are attached to exactly the values of right pixels for the height and width of the scene of Captivate. Modify them by one pixel in each dimension only. Try going upward a first pixel. Then worms down in size a pixel. Then maybe upwards or downwards to 2 pixels. Every time that you change these settings, save the HTM file and try to run the module in your browser maximized and see if you can find a dimension in which the text is strong.

  • How to create, show, or hide

    Hi, all the

    When the mouse cursor rollover a button, display of the button when the mouse leaves, hide the message, how to create this effect, thanks

    Here is a way. Have you sprite 1 as a member of your "reversal", sprite 2 as the graph you want to display. By default, you may have sprite 2 off stage, perhaps 1000 pxels right of where it should appear. Then you could change the horizontal location (locH) of the sprite in the following behavior:

    on mouseEnter me

    Sprite (me .spriteNum + 1) .locH = sprite (me + 1 .spriteNum) .locH - 1000

    end

    on mouseLeave me

    Sprite (me .spriteNum + 1) .locH = sprite (me + 1 .spriteNum) .locH + 1000

    end

    For example, when you move the mouse over sprite 1, which represents (me.spriteNum), then the horizontal location of sprite 2 (me .spriteNum + 1) 1000 moves left. When you exit the sprite, she moves 1000 pixels to the right so goes off stage. The 1000 would depend on the width of your scene.

  • manipulation of stage size

    When I use the following code, I am able to monitor the size of the scene within the browser. But what I don't understand is that when I use StageScaleMode.SHOW_ALL instead, the size and width of the scene is always fixed at 1920 x 1080 (size of my stage in Flash authoring) no matter how little I bring the browser to. Any ideas how to avoid these?

    var myStage:Stage = this.stage;

    myStage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;

    var swfW:int = myStage.stageWidth;

    var swfH:int = myStage.stageHeight;

    Well, do not use showall when you want to check the size of the stage. change back to showall after checking (if that's what you want).
