  After that the last Window XP updated, I faced a problem connecting wifi internet.

  I (and others I know) get the question when trying to connect to the wifi. One of my friends has windows 7 and had the same problem. Personally, I have two laptops (Thinkpad T43 and T60), the T43 has only been affected. I did a lot of tests (tests of ipconfig, ping, etc.) and found what could be the problem.

  I found that I was not able to conect to my router. I changed my wifi to no (no wep or wpa key) security configuration. At that time, I was able to connect to the internet. I changed my wireless security to WEP key with special characters again and wasn't able to reach my router connection. However, when I changed my WEP key of only alphanumeric characters that has worked. With the WPA key, I am not able to connect to my wifi.

  My laptop is an old but a friend to me as a new brand.

  I have the feeling that there could be a conflict with some brands of wireless cards. I have an Intel Pro 2200BG in the T43 a different in the T60. In my tests, I used the same configurations as my other laptop which doesn't have any problem. I used the same radio channel and values. I would like to get the thoughts of an expert to properly solve the problem

  With 2 other people with the same problem (one called me an hour ago!) after the last window xp SP3 update and glancing again Ipconfig. I found that the tcp/ip seem to have been corrupted by the update. Then, I applied the following command at the command prompt: netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt , and then restart the computer.

  This time, the command ipconfig showed information that makes sense! And three laptops with windows XP pro SP3 were able to successfully connect to any Protocol (wpa, wpa2, wep).

  I conclude this post by saying that, probably one of the last update of security for windows XP corrupted the TCP/IP Protocol and we had to reset correctly to solve the problem.

  My Wi - Fi key is that since my last update Win 10 this week and disable airplane Mode.  No way to establish a wireless connection.  Anyone who has another experienacing cela or did I possibly an incorrect update somehow.   My Ethernet connection works fine.  Tried to update from HP Support Assistant, so that to solve the problems - and that settles it not or because it cannot find an old file to uninstall.  Ideas for a solution would be appreciated... After the last update the windows media player plugin has disappeared from the list of Add-ons, while always being correct installation. I reinstalled it, but that has not worked. I have replaced/deleted some files in firefox as suggested, for similar problems, but that no longer works.

  Found a solution:

  Go in Subject: config and change plugins.load_appdir_plugins from false to true. Apparently FF21 assigns the value false by default causing it to not detect plug-ins installed in this way.

  Thanks for your reply, but I doubt that flash player is related to do with Java.

  And the Java applet crashing in my browser, I guess, should not be linked to my graphics driver, especially since the only update that took place was an update of firefox.

  My operating system is Windows XP. After the last update for Firefox 29,0, web pages started showing nbsp; through, including my home page. I've never seen until the last update. Internet research indicate that this indicates a space when the web page is developed, but is not intended to be displayed. Why am I now see this on most of the web pages I visit?   I've been running windows 7 ultimate 64-bit for over a month now, as I received it for a launch party I was the host.

  May 14, last night I had several (automatically) downloaded windows update

  Today, I was unable to boot my computer with Windows - tried the disk check, start checks etc, and eventually had to use System Restore (for help before the critical update to restore).

  Perfection, everything works, but knowing that windows will attempt to redo an automatic update, tried to check online - no one seemed to have a problem and (naivly) thinking I could always do another restore of the system, I rebooted again.

  Same thing worse. Could not do a sys restore either just before restarting or last night. Chose a date earlier (last week) but then lost the USB drivers and pilots display. Downloaded updated but refuses to let my AMD driver install Windows I have a very unpleasant screen... and I must now stop the installation of this update "critical."

  Would appreciate advice how do my installed display driver or whether anyone else has problems following this update

  I use a newer computer that already had Windows 7 pre-installed.  After the last update my monitor started flashing.  It didn't happen in Mode safe and I could not diagnose any systemic changes that can occur.  He also doesn't seem to be a problem with the refresh rate.

  I don't think that's the problem. I solved the problem by using an earlier version, while the youngest is not corrected.

  To install an older version I do the following:
  1. open a creative cloud application
  2. in front of 'Find Apps more' I click on "Applications" and change to "show other version."
  3. I have local "Photoshop" and I click on the 'Install' button and chose an older version, in my case, I prefer "CC (2014).
  4. wait for install and now I work normally.
