  • Manual backup of Calendar/Contacts/Wiki/users

Watch completely wipe our current OS X Server version 5.0.15 10.10.5 running and perform a new installation/upgrade to 10.11.6 running 5.1.7 Server.

I try to avoid using a Time Machine backup, because my concern would be potentially inheriting our current configuration issues - so finally the preference is for a new installation and then manually import/restore calendar, Contacts, Wiki and users.

Can someone point me in the direction which the files/folders would be required to back up and then copied on the new installation?

In addition, once the files have been copied on the new machine to their respective directories, they would work with a different (newer) version of OS X Server?

    OR

It would be easier (and probably more successful) if all users of ~ 50 export their calendars and import them once the new server is running?

    Thank you!

    Hello

I have a PIN but I don't know how I managed to do it. It just appeared and then I could on the PIN on the page newtab (upper-left) of the new page that has been added to the 'new page '.

But I want to know how can I get a new web page to the new page in the first place. Then I can pin.

Support wiki pages, according to me, told me I'd see a url location.
    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/new-tab-page-show-hide-and-customize-top-sites

I don't see any such spindle. Please see screenshot
The page is my search amazon that I like to use.

    Thanks for your help.

    I think it worked.

    (1) you just drag and drop the tab ' ' (e.g. url) but a "binding" on the Web page. So I had to navigate a level of my Web page

    (2) then on mac (yosemite) 10.2.2, order click the 'link', you want to put on your newpage and drag the new tab and gout.

    (3) you can drop them into the interval or the last one. Impossible to forget and miss a space.

  • default page is not showing up with wiki and Xcode services on

    Hello

I have the site, wiki and the Xcode services turned on in my set - up OS X server.

I want to display the default page (which has links with other services) by default not pages Xcode or wiki.

I saw there is an order of priority article, but substitution was to change the order of file I tried to change the order of the index files, but it always happens with /xcode every time if Xcode is activated and the wiki when this service is enabled.

Is there a fix for this race 5.1.5

OK here's what I did, but this isn't an ideal solution.

    CD/Library/Server/Web/Config/apache2/other

sudo mv COM. Apple. WEBAPP. WIKI.conf COM. Apple. WEBAPP. WIKI.conf.bak

sudo mv COM. Apple. WEBAPP. XCODE.conf COM. Apple. WEBAPP. XCODE.conf.bak

This allows the default page to display.

It used to be that if xocde and wiki have been activated as Xcode are also in the wiki menu.

  • Firefox 7.0.1 has stopped working on my wiki (hull.ac.uk/awe). So has Hotmail: both are still in IE 7.0.5730.11. Connections look good: it's just the HTML is not displayed. I deleted some code/action unintentionally?

I use Firefox 7.0.1 on an old Dell with Windows XP Home edition machine. For years, I used Firefox to work on my wiki (hull.ac.uk/awe) without any problems. In the last month or two, the browser refused to apply the wiki markup in the way I used to see, unlike IE (7.0.5730.11). Hotmail also no longer works in firefox, though it's fine in Internet Explorer. (In a moment paranoid, I was afraid that Microsoft was blocking Mozille; but this seems unlikely.) Connections look good: it's just that the browser is no longer implements/displays the text marked in the way I want (and I'm used to) to see. I deleted some code/action unintentionally? If so, how can I return it?

  • uptight Server 5.1 installation to update wiki service

I'm trying to update OS X Server version 5.1 on El Capitan. The update has been blocked to "Update the Wiki Service" for more than 6 hours. There is a warning on the cancellation of update if I try to shut down the server.

The update went smooth on 2 other Macs on my network.

What is the safest way to proceed with the cancellation of the update and try again?

    Thank you

Need to add that the problem that happens during the first launch of the server after the update installed.

  • wiki does not work after upgrade

Recently, I upgraded my server of 10.9.5 to 10.11.3 and got the last.app (version 5.0.15). Things seem to be OK, but the wiki service no longer works.  Within.app, wiki claims to be on and accessible, however when I try, I get:

    Internet sites is disabled.

An administrator can turn on them using the application server.

There is an option in the Wiki of the.app to "Open in Safari" section, and it also gives the above error message.  Any ideas I could try?

An update: I tried to turn on websites using.app, and he claims that it is "available at [my server url]." However, now when I try to move the wiki of Safari (the URL of the server https://[my ] / wiki), I get:

    Not found

Could requested URL was not found on this server.

Apache server at evolab.indiana.edu Port 443

So I guess that apache is on, but the wiki seems to be non-existent.

  • Wikibrowser installed on my computer and converted all the docs in wiki. How to convert to PDF

Wikibrowser installed on my computer and converted all my PDF docs in Wiki format. I want to delete my computer Wikibrowser, but do need to be sure I will not lose access to the documents. How can I convert documents to PDF?

OK, the documents are not actually changed, not at all.

What happens is that under Windows, you can choose which application opens a type of file when you double-click. (You can do yourself by right click, open with...). When you choose the application, all files take this icon. The files don't change, just the icon. In this case, the Wikibrowser tells Windows that it will open all your PDF documents, so changed the icon.

But get rid of this malware as soon as you can. One of my friends had this and other things and kept just malware download and install more malware. In the end, she had something more than 4,000 to get rid of!

  • How is the Wiki of Adobe Photoshop CS5 included Acrobat Pro 9.3, said but mine does not include it?

I was reviewing what is supposed to be included with Photoshop CS5 and it says it includes Acrobat Pro 9.3 but mine contains only Photoshop.  Mine is an update for CS3 but what matter?  The matrix shows CS5 CS5 contains 9.3 but mine does not work?

You may be confusing version of Photoshop CS5 with the Creative Suite CS5.

"By all means show us only" ""Wiki " link that that you are referencing.

Also explain where and when you bought your software.  CS5 versions are obsolete and not supported and have not been sold by Adobe for years.
