  So I have a laptop Dell XPS L702X (win7.64) and a surface of two Microsoft pro running the same version of FF same Favorites and everything. I went through all the settings on both and against all. Put both be exactly the same. But on my laptop (since the last update), I can not open a new tab by clicking on the + or using ctrl + shift + P. Nothing works. It's like the feature was cut but the + is still there and it highlights even when I pass my cursor over them. SO next, I completely uninstalled FF and reinstalled later again. But still its not working do not. Oh and btw, it works very well on my surface and other computers.

The only way that will open a new tab is if I click on a link in an email, it opens the link in a new tab.   Hello, this sounds a bit like if the CTRL on your keyboard is constantly pressed - maybe this is a hardware problem, can you try with another keyboard?
