I have a multiple display set in place. All other applications work fine (corel painter, illustrator, indesign). It's almost as if there is an invisible magnetic line on the screen where align with the document and the other tabs in the workspace. Now, I bought and installed cs6 and the problem is still there. Can you give some advice? Is this a known issue? I don't know if it ' s a problem caused by Wacom, Photoshop or Apple. Help, please. Thank you.

  Photoshop Elements 5.0 does not support Adobe Swatch Exchange (ASE) files, but you can copy and paste the kuler in items HEX values.

• When will an update of lightning that works with Thunderbird v31.0 beta come out?

  I used Thunderbird beta v 30 with 3.2b1 of lightning and it was working fine. V31 Thunderbird has been released and updated automatically. Add-ons - are set to "auto update". All calendar is now grayed out, and nothing works. I searched downloads of lightning and concluded that Lightning 3.2b1 is the most recent version was available, and it's lightning 3.2b1 States for "Thunderbird 30.0 and later. Obviously, lightning 3.2b1 does not work with Thunderbird v31.

  Two things:
  1. I recommend that updates of lightning will come out before the publication of beta of Thunderbird updates so that your testers who use the Lightning extension have the capacity they had before updates Thunderbird, and
  2. a) be a notice sent with beta versions updated to Thunderbird, that States will they interface properly with the currently installed version of lightning, and/or b) the update should not automatically update if it detects an add-on installed lightning with which it is incompatible and require the user to decide if the user wants to proceed with the update and lose functionality.

• I can't get Dr. Browns Image Processor Pro to work with Photoshop CC 2014 bridge

  We use the DR Browns wonderful Pro Processor Image script much, but cannot make it work with PS CC 2014 bridge. When I select files in Bridge CC, then go to tools > Dr. Browns Services 2.3.1 > Image Processor Pro it appears an error message that says ReferenceError: photoshop is undefined.

  The real script works fine if I run it from Photoshop CC 2014 - just not so I load it from bridge CC.

  I uninstalled it and re installed a few times, both manually and through the CC of the extensions Manager.

  I use a 64-bit Windows 7 computer.

  I guess that there are a few changes in the part of the script that loads Photoshop of the bridge, but not course. It worked fine in CC. Simply not CC 2014.

  I open the Dr Browns Services .jsx file but don't see anything obvious. This is the section on the Image Processor Pro part:

  Nevermind - Dr. Browns Services works very well with CC 2014. I just had a lot of trouble with the upgrade... After uninstalling any version of PS and bridge, reboot and reinstall just CC 2014 everything works as it should. I had trouble with the upgrade by 2014 CC on both computers I use - but re-installing fixed everything and was easier to do that I thought it would be.

  I am running Windows 7 and my scanner is a "Kodak esp 3.2" - that is connected both wireless and USB cable on my computer HP 840 Server.

  No problems with the scanner - Photoshop CC cannot scan from it perfectly without problem with WIA support.

  Uninstalled my old Acrobat X, granted scanning not working on that anyway, so thought a complete uninstall and update to Acrobat Pro DC could resolve the issue.

  DC Pro still crashes when I try to run the scan - will not open a dialogue window.

  File-> Create-> PDF from Scanner-> < nothing here > will cause program crash.

• UCCX scripts, working with variables (variables to type?)

  I've got script of unilingual IVR which distributes calls in two separate CSQ (services and logistics), based on the entry of the appellant in the IVR menu. Each QSC contains several agents. There is flow under script that checks if a current day is holiday (similar to the example of Cisco HolidayCheck.aef)

  Now, I have to extend this script and make it multilingual. Many aspects in the script as dates.xml to check, name of the CSQ (each lang have services and logistics), lang for IVR guests are exactly the same files wav localized to specific national environment in different directories called.

  My idea is to parse the input (IVR or by number called country-specific) and on this basis set a variable named input_lang (string) with the values 'en', 'sk' or other). Then set other variables for good localization based on this variable input_lang.

  I have customization variables:

  input_lang (String) = «»

  holiday_datelist (Document) = [DOC]

  ivr_lang (language) = [L]

  CSQ_service (String) = «»

  CSQ_logistics (String) = «»

  When I set input_lang variable, for example "sk" (Slovak), I have other variables defined as:

  Set holiday_datelist = "DOC [dates -" + input_lang + ".xml]".

  Set ivr_lang = 'L []' + input_lang + '] '.

  Set CSQ_service = '-CSQ_servis' + input_lang

  Set CSQ_logistics = '-CSQ_logistics' + input_lang

  But this result in this strange values (not so weird, because they are all 'String-like')

  holiday_datelist = "DOC [dates - sk.xml]" instead of DOC [dates - sk.xml]

  ivr_lang = "L [sk]" instead of L [sk]

  etc... but the names of CSQs are also strings and the results are OK

  The script stops and throws a value unidentified exception / error variable.

  Y at - there no way how to fix string variable as lang/document as a representation? I think I have to get rid of these quotes in the beginning and the end of the value. I want only to concatenate the values of strings void variables based on each lang.

  Or me as a result of the wrong way and everything to do in a different way?

  I think that you are up to something and just need to make some minor changes.

  1. instead of assign the directory "dates - sk.xml" to the document variable, assign it to a string that points to the file name and the relevant path. Then initialize the document variable by using the step to "create a Document file. This should help you over any bumps with typcasting.

  2. for the language, it would be logical to use a statement 'switch' as follows:

  Channel switch (input_lang)

  Connection: Slovak

  Set ivr_lang = L [sk]

  Connection: en - uk

  Set ivr_lang = L [en - uk]

  ...

  Maybe it's not as effective as the road you have decided to take this point but it would work. The only time where I messed up with the support of several languages, I used the trigger JTAPI. It will work for you, if you have walked the road of the language based on the "called" number (as you suggest one way possible, you would take). In this way, you can have several triggers pointing to the same application and the variable of language may already be set on the trigger. You still wish to create/edit your variables. You'd probably want to focus on the expression editor methods. toString() and. getLanguage().

  As I wrote, I feel remains the same as the first items 12/12.1 successes and failures are the same before and after the upgrade to 64-bit Windows 10.

  I just bought a new desktop (HP 6520) running W7 home.  There is no parallel connection on the pc.  How to connect the printer and make it work?  Thank you.

  I tried a generic parallel (IEEE 1284) USB cable got off Ebay for $1.85 cooler delivery of $1.99.  Initially, I had problems locating the printer in the Control Panel, but he found after update the available printers.  The cable was attached to the printer and then connected on the PC.  It was originally set as a virtual USB device but the printer would not work because 1) I had it attached to Port 1 and 2) the virtual printer port said that there is an error when I tried to set it up.  Frustration and especially of despair after continuing get error messages when you send a job to the printer, I unplugged the USB cable and plugged into another USB port end.  The system 'discovered' a new feature, went through the process of Setup, and I received a message that the printer is ready.  Tried to print and it worked!  However, to my dismay the printed work was seven full pages long instead of words in test doc that I have prepared.  However, the suggested parallel cable USB worked.  Thanks for the suggestion.

  I received the error message following 'security to access the url error' even though I've already placed the policy file on the server that hosts the service. Is it because the site of my Flex uses the HTTP protocol and the data server using the HTTPS protocol. Is there a way around this problem. Thank you!

  in the first place, I quite agree with you that the crossdomain.xml thing is annoying.

  I Don t think you use a socket policy file if you want to connect to a Web service, but you may need to change the crossdomain.xml.

• Update to Adobe Bridge CC to work with Photoshop CC 2015

  I've just updated Photoshop CC 2014 and 2015. Which works very well. I then applied the update to the bridge. Bridge will now launch fine, but when I try to open an image I get an error message saying that Windows cannot find Photoshop. The path, there need is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit) \Photoshop.exe. It's really weird because does not point to CC Nevermind 2014 2015 CC.

  I tried to uninstall bridge via the creative cloud Panel and then a reinstall. Still the same problem. Before I updated to 2015 bridge CC worked very well with CC 2014. It is only since the update of 2015 the redone problem surface.

  Any suggestions?

  I'm a Mac guy I can only give you a guess.

  Not sure what happened to cause this but one thing you might try is to go to the preferences of your Bridge and go to the file type Associations tab. Now scroll through the different types of files and select some more frequent for the PS (JPEG, TIF, etc..) Check that the track of the bird to the PS goes to the right place and if it is not reset it.

  Let us know if that does or not.
