Will there be a version 1.5?

If you take a look on eBay, many F3 cameras is growing every day, and the price is slippery! I bought in to the F3 two years (with a NET Alphatron and one * 240) so it's I'll go, however, I fear that my investment is soon to be redundant. There be a version 1.5 firmware, and if so, what will be its content? It will be something significant, or will there be only nominal improvements?

Still no answer. Come on Sony, you 1.5 teased, give us an update already.

P.S. I'm not interested in any advice to forget it. Some of us are interested in the next firmware update, if you're not then don't post in this thread.

    Migration to Windows XP 8

Will there be a direct upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 8 final version?  If so, are there details around this yet?

If by "direct" you mean that you don't have to reinstall your applications, then almost certainly this option will be available.

If you simply mean "l will be able to use an upgrade rather than a full license" - it's a lot more muddy waters, but I suspect that MS is going to cut the rug under the judicious XP and only allow upgrades from Vista and Win7.

There are older versions of garageband?

Since Apple has the distribution of their software online, you will face the following situation.

    • Once Apple releases a new version of an application software and makes it available on the App Store, the previous version is no longer available (unless you have saved a copy of the previous Installer on your disk).
    • The App Store is the only source where you can get the software. Apple has total control of the distribution and you can't go to Amazon or eBay to get an older version.

    Hope that helps

There are no versions of Firefox for iPad because Apple won't allow competing web engines on their iOS devices. Until they change this policy it will never be Firefox on iOS.

I have Windows 7 and I was wondering if there was a version of Firefox called "Nightly"? The type of a Nightly.Ink file. Also, whenever I open 'Nightly' now, I get a popup of the program update and it says "update.exe". Is this a part of Firefox "Nightly" or is this a virus? Please answer this so I can relax. Every night (a1) and (a2) Aurora built updated every day, so if you use such a developer version you will see an update every day (sometimes more than once a day in the case of a respin). These alpha versions are more intended to be experienced testers, because you may experience stability and regression of the questions at any time. The beta version (currently Firefox 25) can be useful for testing Web sites to see if they're going to get broken in the next Firefox release and file a bug report, if necessary.

Note that you must always install such version of development alongside a stable version and use a separate profile for each version folder.

  • FF10 will get a new version to correct the problem of "small website"?

After the upgrade to FF10 3.6.26, all websites are made very small. (Win7, screen resolution 1920 x 1080, with settings appropriate font OS.) All applications except Explorer appear very well.

It is necessary to zoom in manually each web page to make it readable. FF10 themselves appear also, very small. For example, the icons in the bookmarks toolbar are so tiny, it is difficult to see, and the close-tab button is so tiny that it is essential to operate the very precise mouse positioning.

IE doesn't do this, nor FF 3.6.26. IE seems to make a website in proportion to the available screen real estate and FF 3.6.26 was perfect! Why not FF10?

Is FF10 just a browser for smaller screens then? Will there be a updated version that resolves this problem?

You can use an extension to set a page zoom and the size of the default font on the web pages.

This extension allows to adjust the font size for the user interface:

  • Will there be repercussions to Program Files on one partition other than the operating system of the installation?

Will there be repercussions to Program Files on one partition other than the operating system of the installation?  Most if not all the software packages allow to customize the installation.  I had an experience with OFFICE 2013 and this allowed me to install on a separate partition.  After installation, I checked the menu START was 2013 OFFICE & I was able to launch PwrPt without complications.

My motivation for doing this is that I have several versions of LabView which occupies the huge disk space.  So if I can separate the backup image of my OS program files is greatly reduced in size.  This allows me to record several images of my OS by dates without needlessly chewing my external hard drive.

Anyone know this & if yes are there complications or questions?

    Appreciate any feedback
