Win of the PSB, 2 GB file error

Hi all

I'm on PS CC, trying to rescue a PSB (360 "x 360") file. I know that PSD will not work with something this size, that's why I'm trying to save as PSB. I have purged, convert to/from 8/16-bit, flattened and all, but every time I record, I get 'bigger than 2 GB error'. I'm doing something wrong? Is there a thing/formatting question, that I'm not aware?

Try to get this thing to print in NEM, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Michael

It is possible that the hard disk is formatted using the FAT format which has a limit of about 2 GB. So it depends on what OS you have and it's format.

But what I can do for now is to guess.

  • 2gbsparse backup due to the limit of open files errors

Question: Is there a way to change the limit nofiles in ESXi 4.0 + so that it persists through a reboot?

On large files VMDK vmkfstools fails with: doesn't have to clone the drive: the limit of the host to open files (40)

I understand that this is because of the setting nolimit, before be reduced to 256 in ESXi 4.0 + compared to ESXi 3.5, which is the value 4096.  In order to be able to backup up to a 2 TB disk, I would like to change this setting to 4096.  [Fuzzy math: (2 TB vmdk / 2gbsparse) + locker hidden files = ~ 4096].  I failed to find a permanent adjustment for this.  Run the command 'ulimit-n 4096' in rc.local does not work either.  I tried to add the same command in the script of ghettoVCB as well, who does not work if the script is running from a cron job.  I have something that seems to work, but it's messy.  I added a line to the ghettoVCB.sh script that says: source vmfs/volumes/< datastore > /ghettoVCB/set_ulimit.sh

    set_ulimit.sh looks like this:

    #! / bin/ash
    ulimit-n 4096

I think that if I could run the ulimit command from cron or in rc.local I could bring the necessary change without adding lines to the script of William.  However, this command can be entered interactively or automated methods are reluctant to not having the absolute path (which I can't find it).  The ulimit command seems to be a hidden built-in to busybox.

nofiles limit is attached to a process and not to the entire system.

In other words, each process has its own limits.

When a command in a shell script, the fork itself, the parent will be ready to deal with the following command and the child set up the environment for the new process, including the limits set by ulimit and then run the command waited.

    Hello

I suspect it's because of the construction in default length of character in sqldr data types - char (255) must take no notice of what the definition of the current table is by default.

Try adding CHAR (2000), to your controlfile so you end up with something like this:

No, when used in this way, the references created by the file read and write functions should not be closed - thought that he would have no negative effect if you did.

Original title: program compatibility Application Applications App Apps game games Legacy Crash crashes Hang hangs

I get this message when you try to run an old MS-DOS - based program in Win-7 Ultimate 64-bit.

"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you are using. Check your computer system information to see whether you need a x 86 (32 bit) or x 64 (64-bit) version of the program and then contact the software publisher. »

I understand that I am under a 64 bit OS, but is it possible to get this program to run? I was wondering if anyone has tips :)

    Hi Bcopeland,

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

Based on the information, you are trying to install and use an old ms - dos program based in Windows-7 Ultimate 64-bit.

The problem is a software that was created for Windows 95, 98, and Windows XP has no way to work correctly with an operating system that didn't even exist when the software was written. However, the error message you get normally means that you have a 32-bit software that you are trying to install on a 64-bit system.

You can check the compatibility of the program with Windows 7, in the Compatibility Center.

    Compatibility Center

If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.

    a. click right on the program.

    b. click Properties.

    c. click on the tab compatibility.

    d. Select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or whatever to use the system, the program was executed successfully.

Here is an article that gives you more information on this:

Make older programs in this version of Windows

If the problem persists, you can get in touch with the software vendor to see for the latest version of the program to use the same system of 64-bit Windows 7.

    Hope the helps of information.

If you need assistance in the future to resolve any issues related to Windows, post your query and we will be happy to help you.

    Hello

I solved the problem. It seems that you can not install on a secondary partition with in an earlier version of windows. You must restart the computer and run the installation from a dvd or other media.  Once you get the installation running you should be able to install on another partition without any problems.

Tried to run as administrator, did not work. I don't want to uninstall FF, at least have to because of all the things I have here, bookmarks, last past passwords, etc..

    Hello

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files (not the profile folder, where the bookmarks are stored) and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

Please report back to see if this helped you!

    Thank you.

    Hello

    1. which edition of Windows are you using? Is - this edition is 32-bit or 64-bit?

Given that the game is compatible with Windows 7, I suspect that the conflict can be 32-bit or 64-bit architecture.
The link below shows the compatibility of this game with Windows 7.

    Method 1.
We must ensure that the edition of the game must correspond with the operating system.
If you use 64-bit in this game, you need the 64-bit Windows to install it.
    Method 2.
If the above information matching I you recommend to start the computer in clean condition and then try to install the game.
