  It was working before. Chrome works fine, but I prefer firefox. One of my clients is having the same problem but others using firefox isn't the problem.

  I had this same problem and fixed it by adding the package icedtea6-plugin on Ubuntu. IcedTea6-plugin is a plugin for web browser to run Java applets.

  It is more a comment than a question, if anyone else has this problem.  Java 6 reached end of life in February 2013 and security scanner began to report a security secrious vulnerability.  I'm working on several projects of governmetn and we are forced to upgrade to Java 7, but I can't do that with LiveCycle.  Someone at - he got LiveCycle to work with Java 7?

  I tried to find information about what version of Java Adobe will officially support for ColdFusion 8.

• Firefox does support java applets if the "next generation plugin" is disabled via the control panel of the Java plugin.

  My applet is not 'Next Generation in line'. When we run our applet in Internet Explorer, it works very well as long as we disable the "next generation Plugin" via the Java plug-in Control Panel. However our applet does not work in Firefox if the cmdlet-the next generation"is disabled.

  It is a requirement that is I want to run an applet in Firefox 3.6.x or higher that the "next generation plugin" be activated via the control panel of the Java plugin.

  The current versions of Firefox (3.6 or later version) can only run Java applets through the next generation plugin.

  Vista works that explore 9 series, 11, is not compatible. Regarding the deactivation of a service, use Add/Remove.

  I had the same problem.

  I solved mine by removing myhardcoded Javahome comes from the product.conf file is normally on my machine under C:\Application Data\sqldeveloper\

  When I rebooted SQLDev he picked up the Javahome he wanted and he started off very well

  After further research, it turns out that flex 3 is still in ALPHA and is not ready for the general public. You simply can not get reproducible results when you use Flex / Java / JBoss / BlazeDS under any form without code change.

  Flex leaves just, no errors, no nothing. 10%, there is no work (return of remote objects), the rest of the time, it isn't, it returns empty objects.

  Would be great if this was tested prior to release.

  Looks like you are using the Web site directly in the browser instead of using a separate application. I think that separate applications are for mobile devices. However, I didn't really dig in there in detail.

• Java support for iPad/iOS

  I know it's a long question/suggestion, but I wanted to give my use case. I have an iPad 2 Air right now, that I use for personal work content and limited content is mainly. I'm certainly interested to go to the Pro 12.9 inches because it has a lot more real estate and has been marketed as the iPad that can replace my laptop. iPad is incredibly close to realize this vision, for me, but with a glaring exception: part of my job is dependent on creating content HTML using a Java plug-in. clearly, iOS and Safari never supported Java and other plug-ins in Safari for iOS and it doesn't look like it is expected to do in iOS 10. If you want to really wonder iPad on something similar to a 4 Surface Pro or any traditional computer, you have to give me all the features that I need on top of everything that I know iPad can do. It's Apple, so I know that you are able to do. If all goes well, someday, you choose to act on it.  Thank you.
