  I have recently installed Windows Live Mail, but I have a few problems with it. Whenever I try to start the program, a dialog box appears saying that "Windows Live Mail could not be started. It cannot be installed correctly. Make sure that your disk is not full or that you're not out of memory. (0 x 80040154, 1008). "I think that maybe the installation is damaged because my drive is not complete, and I have a lot of memory. I went to try to uninstall it, but the program is not listed in the control panel for Add/Remove programs. I tried and then remove the program in the Program Files folder, but it said I didn't have permission, even though I'm an administrator. If someone has experienced this problem and anyone know a fix for this?

  It's an identical error message. You must use a unique object for each test, so you can distinguish between them, for example Test 2

  You are most certainly, because otherwise, the error message would give the protocol used as POP3. The top of the servers the account property dialog tab is for as far as I know the only place where you can specify the Protocol to use. Right-click on the account name in the folders pane, and then select Properties. What does say at the top of the servers tab?

  If this is the case, you will need to create a new account, because the account type cannot be changed. You won't lose anything doing so; you could send messages with this account, but you said in your original post you may send or receive - so there is no recorded message to lose, is there? Even if there is for example ( drafts), you could easily move from the old account to the new before removing the old.

  It is difficult to be certain of your problem without seeing the full error message, but a reasoned guess says that you are still using port 25 for SMTP even if Comcast not have support for at least a year. Right-click on the account name in the folders pane, and then select Properties. On the servers tab, select my server requires authentication. On the Advanced tab, change the port to 587 outgoing mail server.

  Delete all messages waiting for the Outbox (below the records of account in the folders pane), then dial a new test message with a single topic and send it to yourself. Post a new message in your response.
