Install HP fails under Windows 7 64 - bit for Printer series CP1020
Hello!
I tried to solve this for days, and I've seen a lot of suspense/unresponded to messages about the same topic so I hope that someone sees this!
Product & number: Color LaserJet CP1025nw CE914A
Operating system: Windows 7 64 bit
Error message: HP LaserJet Installer has stopped working
Changes made to the system before the error occurred: We have updated our info from the router, so I ran the installation disc to reconnect the printer wireless. He uninstall programs initially added to the sleeve of the printer.
Details:
-Very well, so 3 days ago we updated our router SSID and password for security reasons. Apparently, there is no easy way to update the details of the network for the CP1025nw so I had to run the installation disc. It prompted me to uninstall the software, reboot, and reinstall. I scoured the guests and then choose 'connect via a wireless network. After searching for the network, I then choose 'installation of Wireless USB '. I have to connect the USB cable when prompted, and as soon as the installation of the drivers I get the Windows error message posted above. I've attached a screenshot of what appears as well.
Frustrating is that the printer still works after the installation, but only via the USB connection. I need to get wireless working again, but without the software installation work, I can't seem to get there (unless someone knows a hack/work around).
Event Viewer provides the following details about the error in the application:
The failing application name: hpbcsiInstaller.exe, version: 1.5.6.4020, time stamp: 0x4bbf9f17
Name of the failed module: hppccompio. DLL, version: 1.3.0.24, time stamp: 0x4c9685d0
Exception code: 0xc0000417
Offset: 0x000073bf
ID of the process failed: 0 x 970
Start time of application vulnerabilities: 0x01cdbc45b6632fa1
The failing application path: D:\Installer\hpbcsiInstaller.exe
Path of the failing module: C:\Windows\system32\hppccompio. DLL
Report ID: cb4d353b-2839-11e2-be7e-002564531498I tried a wide range of solutions and none of them does not seem to work. Everything from the firmware update, delete all instances of files HP, including .inf files, installation with startup programs and services as the basis because they can get, etc.
Help, please!
See you soon,.
Kirk
Okay, well that was a beast of a problem to say the least. I am so relieved to be done with this nonsense.
How it all started - a little recap:
We changed the password on our wireless network we have updated for security reasons. I could not find all that helped me update the details of the network (password or the SSID) directly on my printer and said all that I had to uninstall and reinstall everything (and re - run the wifi via USB connection). This is not the case - there is a much simpler solution that I have will cover also the end of this post. Anyway, as mentioned above, during the phase of the installation of device drivers, the installation program plant with the Windows message "HP Installer Setup has stopped working".
How I fixed it:
1. print a configuration page by pressing the button "resume" for a few seconds and let go. I have taken note of the following in the upper right:
Status: Not connected
Network in use: no
IP address: 0.0.0.0I myself am continued to ask me if I could connect the printer directly via the port ethernet so I...
2 connect a cat5 from my laptop to the printer.
3 printed a second Setup page. Now, I got the following information:
Status: connected
Network in use: Wired
IP address: 169.254.71.50
4. I opened my web browser and tried to 169.254.71.50, but the page wouldn't connect. I recently built a computer game and has found a way to bridge the internet from a laptop wireless to a wired device (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96Z1_6rX5qU) so I was wondering if this could work with the printer.
5 filled my network connections and wireless according to the video above.
6a open my web browser and once more tried to navigate to 169.254.71.50 and it WORKED! (Not sure if this IP address is unqiue for my printer, but printing a configuration report is the best place to find it.
7. I clicked on the Networking tab and then select Wireless Configuration.
8. from there, I was able to activate my wireless connection, my password wireless update and choose I wanted to connect to the wireless network! This is how you can update your wifi information without having to do a complete reinstall!
9. I now unplugged the ethernet cable (as suggested next to turn on/off radio buttons. My printer wireless power and is light stayed on. I have now connected once again!
10. I don't think it was a crucial step, but I also implemented printing mobile ePrint
11. I printed another page of configuration and can now see the following:
Status: connected
Periphery in use: wireless
IP address: 192.168.1.115
12. I can now navigate to the printer in my browser using this IP address and was able to find and print on my printer wireless through my phone, but still couldn't print from my wireless laptop.
13. I inserted the original installation CD, held my breath and clicked on install. Hold your breath here is optional.
14. He asked how I wanted to connect, and as before, I choose wireless. This time, instead of asking me to connect the USB, it FINDS my printer on the network. I chose this, clicked on continue and all installed successfully!
Everything is now back to normal! I can use my wireless printer once more. Please let me know if anyone has additional information on the steps above need, or if something does not work for you because there is no other solution out there. Believe me, I spent HOURS AND HOURS to research. I hope this helps some of you!
See you soon,.

my hp photosmart C4600 Printer series does not work via my bluetooth USB 2.0 Wireless printer adapter, I run windows 7
He ran once before, one of my suggestions of solution was the coil (?) was incorrectly, but don't know how to adjust it
Hello
(1) have you made changes before the start of this issue?
(2) what is the exact error message/code?
A print spooler is software that temporarily stores the disk printing hard or in memory until the printer is ready to print. If you were expecting an abnormally long time to print a document, or if you see an error message about the print spooler, Spooler subsystem or spooler resources, you might need to change and then restart the print spooler service on your computer. To do this, we recommend that you save your work and restart the computer to restart the print spooler service. If you do not want to restart the computer, try these steps.
To change or restart the print spooler service
You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.a. click the Start button, Control Panel, click System and Maintenance and then click Administrative Tools.
b. double-click on Services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
c. right-click on the print spooler service and then click Properties.
d. on the general tab, next to startup type, make sure that automatic is selected.
e. If the service is not already running, under Service status, click Start and then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Try right click on the actual Setup.exe and choosing the option "Run As Administrator"? Perform, even if your user name is an administrator.

My printer no longer works. He said: it is not connected. It's a WiFi printer but I actually plugged in with a USB cable and it still won't print.
I have seen rhe messages saying to wait at least 6 months after the release of Windows 10 for set to level, but as not, HP users were warned before the release of Windows 10, I already updated.
My son was also a computer HP laptop that had problems with WiFi after upgrade, but a simple reg edit mentioned on your forum fixed that.
Is this what can I do to use my printer before January? I think that it is an unreasonable amount of the time-out; especially that HP has never notified users to wait.
HP must have published something of a fix because I downloaded an update this morning and voila - my printer now works as a printer wrieless!

Hello world
I have back Windows 10 to Windows 7 Home Premium as suggested previously and it worked fine. Then knit as well as the sound function keys, but I now have a problem with the printer. I have a Toshiba Satellite.
I am trying to print and get the message "...". You must install a printer.
I reinstalled my Epson WF-2630, but when I try to add a printer in devices and printers, I receive the message "Windows can't open add printer." The local spooler service sprint does not work. Please restart the spooler or restart the machine.
Can someone help, please?
Thank you very much

Hello West,
Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.
Thank you for details on the issue.
This problem may occur if the print spooler service is not running.
Please refer to the suggestions of John Rubdy replied on April 29, 2010 and check if that helps.

Printer Panasonic kxp 2123 xp of windows 7 works not very well
Printer Panasonic kxp 2123 not work windows 7 works very well xp
Hi, Oliver,.
Have you installed the printer software?
http://www.Panasonic.com/business/documents-Imaging/downloads.asp
It works with Windows 7 before?
Are you receiving error messages? Post back verbatim, if you please.
Look in the event viewer for errors that coincide with the date and time that the printer did not work.
If the software has been installed and the printer worked, try the following:
Start > type services.msc
Press enter
Scroll down to print spooler
Right-click on the spooler and select stop
Wait for Windows to stop the spooler
Go to control panel > printers folder
Right-click on the printer icon, then select open
Do you see the documents listed in the print queue?
Click file > cancel all Documents
Start > right click on computer
Select manage
Click on continue in the UAC window
Select Device Manager
Click on the + sign next to Ieeee... compatible printer
Right-click on the driver and select uninstall
Click on the + sign next to imaging devices
Right-click on the driver and select uninstall
Click on the + sign next to printers
Right-click on the driver and select uninstall
Click on the + sign next to Bus USB controllers
Right-click on the printer driver and select uninstall
While the printer is turned on, unplug the cable from the printer
Unplug the cable from the wall outlet
Leave 5 minutes
Plug the cable into the wall jack, and then the printer
Restart your computer and let Windows install the drivers
Open Services.msc and start the print spooler (follow previous directions)
Try printing again

Is there a driver for Windows 7 available for this printer? One user in our office was able to make it work with the Vista driver.
According to the website of Epson here
the latest drivers are for Windows XP 32-Bit.
This Epson Web page says drivers
http://eSupport.Epson-Europe.com/ViewArticle.aspx?LNG=en-GB&kbid=324521
are available via Windows Update.
Microsoft Windows 7 Compatibility Center:
says it's not compatible.
Clearly, there is an inconsistency in the tips above. I would try the road to Windows Update to see if his list - I would test it myself to see if its listed, but my connection to Windows Update seems to be suspended.

Hello
On a Windows 10 computer I have Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat is installed.
If Adobe Acrobat is set as the default PDF Viewer, when I right click on a PDF file I don't have the button 'print '.
If Adobe Reader is set as the default PDF Viewer, when I right click on a PDF file I have this 'print' button, but when I click the button it opens Adobe Acrobat (why?) and it does not print anything
Are you aware of this bug? What can I do to make this work of button "print"?
Thanks for reading and your help
Nicolas
Which versions of Acrobat and Reader you have installed? The only supported combination is when both are of the same major version (for example, XI Acrobat and Reader XI, or Acrobat DC and DC drive). Anything else is not supported one can cause problems.
