Windows 2000 will support HP 685c G7 (C7000)

Hello

Windows 2000 server runs on HP G7 blades?

We plan do P2V, and Windows 2000 Server. We have C7000blades of HP (HP 685c G7). Not sure, it takes in charge or not? Please give your suggestions?

Kind regards

ZaraRose

According to http://www.vmware.com/go/hcl ESXi 5.0 is supported on this system and Windows 2000 is supported on ESXi 5.0, so it should work correctly. You will however need to an older version of VMware Converter (I think it is 4.0.1) to convert Windows 2000 systems (SP4!).

  • Windows 10 will support FrontPage 2003 and Print Shop 23.1

I am currently using Windows 7 as well as older software, FrontPage 2003 and 23.1 of printing, including 7 supports.  I want to upgrade to Windows 10 but don't want to lose my site I created with Front Page and all of the cards that I designed with Print Shop 23.1.  Windows 10 will support this software?  If not, why and you have any suggestions?  Thank you.

This is not the direction to go...  The programs support being installed on a given operating system or aren't - the operating system is not the one you're looking for in more than one program of.

After finding that - you should / could try compatibility mode.

Make a full image backup of your computer, the upgrade system, see if it works and if you can't figure it out - restore using the full system image backup, as it never happened.

  • Windows 8 will support external drives to dvd of windows 7.

I love windows 8 and surface pro and I already have a usb for surface pro hub and I was wondering if I could easily connect a windows 7 external dvd drive with windows 8 installed. And also I will have to get a usb 3.0 hub because my hub usb is only 2.0 because I am pro surface.

    Hello

    1. What is the brand and model of the external DVD drive?

Almost all feature works great on Windows 8 preview version, which were already working on the Windows 7 operating system.

Verify that the device is compatible with Windows 8 from the following link:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/compatibility/en-us/CompatCenter/FAQ

Yes, you will have a USB 3.0 port on the Surface Pro.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Chrome may be a substitute satisfactory for Firefox on Windows 2000?

Firefox recommends Opera for a replacement. Chrome would be as good a substitute for Windows 2000 Pro

12.0 Firefox should work perfectly on Win2000. It's Firefox 13.0 that Windows 2000 will not be able to support.

  • evo n610c windows 2000 usb controller drivers

Why the files on the website do not work? Support for USB on Windows 2000 contrroller seems to have disappeared. Is there a problem? My computer came with Windows 2000 but I have lost the discs. Is there some weird licensing issue?

I have it. Network drivers for Windows 2000 are in sp22996, it is simply a process of 2 steps (need Windows search for drivers in the extracted directory). And the USB controller for my evo n610c is NEC non Intel and not provided in the file of MS in chipset. Instead, Windows Update for Windows 2000 will find the drivers for the NEC USB controller.

  • Windows 8 will be a 32-bit version?

I have some programs that are designed to run on a 32-bit system and I'm curious to know if there will be a 32-bit version of Windows 8 created? Thank you

Yes, Windows 8 will support 32-bit (x 86), 64-bit (x 64) and processors of holdings of ARMS in 32 and 64 bit versions.

Windows 8 32-bit by default to disable 16-bit applications, so if you have 32-bit applications with 16-bit installers, they will not work by default. You can open the control panel > open the applet of the 16-bit subsystem and can get your applications to work.

I have a legacy application that I have to run in Windows 2000.  (Windows is a guest OS running in a Virtual Box on a Linux machine).  I need to run the 4630, print only, function in the Windows operating system.  I need to know what previous printer driver will work in this arrangement, sine the 4630 drivers are not supported in Windows 2000.

  • When UM will support windows 2008?

Simple question, does anyone know when UM will support Windows 2008 to scan/patch? And SQL 2008 to scan/patch?

I can't wait to throw my old WSUS.

    Hello

Update Manager 4.0 supports Windows Server 2008 for scanning and remediation. Please take a look at the following link:

    http://www.VMware.com/support/vSphere4/doc/vsp_vum_40_rel_notes.html#Interop

From now on, UM 4.0 supports Microsoft SQL Server versions 7.0/2000/2005 for scanning and remediation. Suport for SQL 2008 to scan/patch may be addressed in future releases it.

    Thank you.

  • Firefox will supports Windows XP after it's retired. Because Google Chrome says apparently it will be. I am happy using Firefox and curious. Thank you!

Wanted to know if Firefox supports Windows XP after it's retired.
Read on the internet that apparently Google Chrome will support it.
I don't like Google Chrome and will continue with Firefox but hoped they will support Windows XP.
If this is not the case, what kind of problems would I have?
I was told that I have a good virus program would be nice.
I have Avast which has worked well for me.
I do not have a personal thing on my computer to worry if someone would try to hack.
Only thing I really do a lot of is to go on my writing groups in Yahoo. But it would be nice to not worry about Malware, threats etc like that and having to run my scans every day.
I'm not at a point where I can buy a new computer, or to afford to go to Windows 7, which is always being updated.
Heard of that Windows 8 is a nightmare and, apparently, a new version that the user is more than friendly Windows 9 didn't will be out til later this year or early next year.
    Thank you!

  • Shockwave Flash update will not install on Windows 2000 SP4?

Does anyone else have this problem? It downloads quite well, but is not installed because of the following error: "the procedure point SetDllDirectoryW entry is not found in the KERNEL32.dll dynamic link library."

This is for Adobe Flash 11.2.202.235. The previous (current) version was apparently discovered to not be is not so sure.

Windows 2000 is no longer supported in current versions of Flash 11.

It seems that Flash Player 10.1.102.64 is the last version for Windows 2000

  • FF7 does support Windows 2000?

Where are the system requirements for FF7? The only ones I found were for FF5.

On my old Win2K computer work, the "Check for Updates" says that it is up-to-date, even if I'm running 6.02. Support Win2K dropped? I'm hesitant to start the stand-alone installation.

Sorry, someone screwed up when they have updated this page. The download link goes to Firefox 7.0 no matter how it is labeled. System requirements have not changed since Firefox 4.0 was released, going at least as far as the Windows PC, not sure on other platforms. Windows 2000 SP4 is supported.

I just found out that the update has been disabled due to problems with the module updates waiting to be installed during the update of Firefox is installed and the extensions "disappear" updated (or seeming to disappear). A new, different extension installation or reinstallation of the missing extension solves this problem.

The developers are working on a solution through a 7.0.1 release, but it's maybe a few days before they can be tested and distributed.
