  Once you have a new installation of the operating system Windows 7, you can check the Windows Update and it will give you all the necessary drivers you need. It is a good feature of Windows 7.

  This PC came with Windows 8 is installed and I was asked to go back to Windows 7 64 bit Pro.

  I began stupidly (wiped everything), installed Windows 7 64-bit, only to find out I do not have any network (LAN/WLAN).

  Looks like I need the 64-bit driver for Windows 7 for the Atheros AR8161L (only required WLAN - found driver LAN)

  Correction: I found this http://www.qca.qualcomm.com/drivers/AR813x_AR815x_AR816x_v2.1.0.21_WHQL.zip which corrects the LAN now I need to find a solution for the WLAN.

  I found similar positions, but they lead to pilot installations will fail.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  I have Windows 7, 64-bit, and it will not load the drivers for my Canon XH - A1 camcorder. MS site shows a possible compatibility issue, and Canon has not yet proposed any help. Is there SOMETHING out there that will run as a 64 bit vista driver? Or a dual boot is the ONLY way to go (this would mean, in my case, I have to load my old 32-bit vista, which is not that good of an option due to the huge problems I had with it.   I had to reinstall Windows 7 Pro complete with a valid product key. However, Windows 10 was loaded before, so the drivers are not compatible. HP does not provide drivers for this model for W7, only 8.1 and 10.  I miss several pilots and have found no legitimate source to download.

  You are the very welcome.

  See if your laptop is a BIOS setting for USB to act as auto or emulation USB2 ports.

  You will not be able to install all drivers unless you can read the USB key.

  The other thing you can do is to run this tool on your installation of W7 media and reinstalling W7.

  This tool should load the usb drivers 3.  There is a Readme on the link to find out how to use.

  You must run the tool on a PC with W10 or W8.1.
