Yes, you can, as long as you use the corresponding edition Similarly, the product key will work.

Should what media I use to install the 64-bit (OEM or Volume License) operating system?

OEM and Volume licensing are different.

If the customer wants to use Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, simply use the corresponding 64-bit Windows 7 professional media with the product key OEM on the COA sticker.

You will need to do a clean install, there is no place on the way to upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.

Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the applications needed.

Volume license should only be used if the customer has a volume license agreement and cannot be used with a volume license product key.

I have a 64 bit Windows 7 for a machine license can I install Windows 2003 Server on the machine instead. Basically what I'm asking, it's coverage of license Windows 7 64 bit, Windows Server 2003 license terms.

No, it won't. Windows Server 2003 uses a slightly different system of authorisation because it is a network operating system.

In fact, a Windows Server license starts at about $1,000. Thus, a client OS like Windows 7 could not cover. In addition, these are different versions. (Windows Server 2003 (version 5.2), Windows 7 (version 6.1))

  • Hi, I have a problem in the installation, how to install acrobat 8.1 pro in 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise is existing in Windows XP.  I just want to transfer the license Adobe pro 8 Windows 7 64 bit. What is the procedure?

Hi, I have a problem in the installation, how to install acrobat 8.1 pro in 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise is existing in Windows XP.  I just want to transfer the license Adobe pro 8 Windows 7 64 bit. What is the procedure?

You need to install 8 AA on the new OS with your current S/N (the license allows 2 installs). After the installation, do all the updates if you expect any chance of 8 AA to run on the system. If the updates will be installed not in the menu help, then go to ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/ and install updates in the order. People seem to have been successful with 32 - bit systems and some have reported success with a 64 bit system. After installation, print something to the Adobe PDF printer to make sure it works. If this works, you should be in good shape as printing treat the bottleneck. There is a solution, but you shouldn't have it.

If all works well, then go back to the old machine and disable this installing and uninstalling. Don't forget that your configuration is not supported by Adobe. It seems with every new version of Windows, MS seeks to make the user to upgrade the other hardware and software for compatibility. There may be legitimate reasons for this action, but the game just seems to be Ms.

  • Is my CC from Adobe for photographers license still valid if I change from 32-bit Windows to 64-bit?

I bought a license for Adobe CC for photographers ($ 10 per month) and now to upgrade my Windows 7 32-bit to 64-bit operating system. I know that there is a 64 bit version for Photoshop, don't know about the bridge. So, my license is still valid if I update, or what I have to buy a new program CC to photographers for the 64-bit version of Photoshop?

    TIA

    Good to know information:

You can install and activate the subscription creative cloud Apps on 2 computers. (Whether on Mac or Windows according to your choice).

Either it can be 32-bit or 64-bit, it's not important, the subscription will be counted due to the number of activation is made according to the Machine ID

Before you upgrade the computer to 64-bit, best of disconnection from the creative cloud desktop application.

If the ID of the computer changes just in case, it will be counted as 2' nd of activation.

Sign in, sign out | Creative office cloud app

Although, if you had exceeded the limit of maximum activation (already activated on 2 computers), still you can reset the meter to zero, activation so that you can turn to new subscription CC on any of the 2 computers according to your choice.

  • CF9 Windows switch from 32 to 64 bit license?

I've seen some previous, old, comments on this subject, but most were specific to special editions (trial, edu, etc.) of the CF.

I will be upgrading the server currently running CF9 of 32-bit Windows to 64-bit Windows.  Therefore, it makes sense to put a 64-bit version of CF on it as well.

I think that the CF9 32 bits that is currently running on this server * could * be a version upgrade.

Can I download the CF9 64-bit distribution and install it on the 64-bit Windows after the upgrade and use the same serial number that I am currently using?  Or I have to buy something to make this happen?

    Thank you

Yes, you can use your existing license. There is no separate license for versions 32 bit 64 bit vs.

  • Installation of Windows 7 64 bit on Envy M6-1205dx - I'm screwed for now...

I just want to M6-1205dx... First thing I did was bust on my CD of Windows 7 64-bit... I enabled legacy mode so that it can boot from CD... I deleted all but the recovery partition (thinking it would allow me to go to Windows 8 I if desired)... I install W7, and then he got all the way to the end of the installation and gave error "" windows cannot configure at installed on this hardware "and won't be finished...»

Then, I discovered that it is not a recovery (must have need of one of the other partitions I deleted) and given that manufacturers no longer include media (all the cents.35 it cost them) I'm totally screwed...

I really wish I had loaded W7, but if that's impossible, I would put 8 on!

    Any ideas?

  • Portege R700 - upgrade Windows 7 32-bit to 64-bit and memory question

I recently bought Portge R700 and am disappointed by the memory. I have a license of Windows 7 64-bit edition: what problems can arise if I update? Once installed, I can then use 8 MB of RAM.

Moreover, I found the reagrding misleading Web site the option of using the 8 MB of RAM with the32-bit OS. I have 4Mb installed, years to see that only 2.86 MB is usable.

I get "out of memory" messages and would like to know how to allocate more memory to live for video.

Tom's right. If you want to use the 64-bit operating system, you must do clean install operating system. All drivers and tools specific to Toshiba and utilities must be installed Additionally one by one.
If you need assistance with installing Win7 let us know.

I put t know for what purposes do you use your laptop and what applications are important for your daily work, but, in general, I don t think you will have problems using 64 bit OS. Please keep in mind that all additional software is 64-bit capable and everything will be OK.

As far as I know laptop user doesn't have the influence of the use of video memory and it runs automatically. It is unclear to me that you can change these settings and set how much RAM can be used for video operations.

Anyway, Portege R700 is nice for laptop with sufficient power for daily use and also for use with standard applications. I don t think you ve bought this laptop for games.

  • Can Tecra S10-176 - I install Windows 7 64 bit?

    Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I just bought a Tecra S10-176 with Vista Business 32 bit and I could upgrade to Windows 7 Professional 32 bit pay 29 euros.

However, I'm tempted to buy a license for Windows 7 Professional 64 bit OM. Since Toshiba support center (Italy), I have not received any clear indication of the benefits of the Tecra S10-176 with the 64 bit version of Windows 7 Professional. Can someone tell me if it is (or is not) a bad idea to install the 64-bit version on my Tecra S10-176?

    Hello

I just got a new laptop today and installed Windows 7 64-bit. Looking at the website of Toshiba (win 7 page) I discovered that there are no drivers listed for the P11. Given that my laptop came with a Windows 7 license I at least expect that Windows 7 drivers would be on the Page of the Toshiba Support. If someone could post a link that would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

I ve checked page Australian support and drivers Win7 does not exist, yet.
To be honest this Tecra is unknown to me, but if you have newer model laptop, I assume that all of the drivers, tools, and utilities will soon be available. There is no other connection.

I m wondering you did not check the support page before you do a clean install.
By the way: this license key, activations belongs to delivered version Win7 and you cannot use it for the installation of the operating system with the Microsoft installation disc.
