Windows 7 Admin is GONE?

Hi all!

I have this huge problem with a computer! The guest account is the only one that I can access. However, there is no administrator account! The computer is a dell inspiron one. It has built in recovery repair on it, but when I try this it has no admin account to type the password! Please help me with what I am on a limited amount of time, and I'm not really familiar with computers. Thank you!

In addition, it does not load in safe mode, I've tried!

I do not understand this Indian woman from dell and it keeps telling me to contact Microsoft, but they try to load, just to watch him. I'm sure that there is not an administrator account on this computer. When I try to run something as an administrator, the user account control screen appears and says "to continue, type the administrator password, then click OK." But here's the catch, it is not a box to enter the password! Could it be a setting that someone could change that does not allow comments to type this in? I can come on fast computer knowledge if someone could explain this. Thanks again!

Let's drill a little further with this bit "gibberish". Try this for diagnostic purposes and do not forget to type very carefully:
1. click on the Start button
2. type the three letters cmd in the search box.
3. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter
4. click on "run as Administrator".
5. type the following commands and press ENTER after each:
"net user administrator / Active: Yes 1>"%UserProfile%\Desktop\test.txt "2 > & 1
Notepad '% UserProfile%\Desktop\test.txt '.
6. the text of the posts in your response.

  • After updating Windows, password Admin required; Unable to work around

I have a Dell Optiplex 380 with XP - Pro on a closed network that is protected by a firewall and anti-virus protection.  After an update of Windows, I restarted the PC and suddenly requires an Admin password.  No password has already been defined on this PC and it was configured to open directly on the desktop.  I tried all the passwords I could think for our system without results.  I checked the BIOS which confirmed the password Admin/system "not defined".  I tried to start safe mode, but he also asked an Admin password.  I even pulled the jumper on the MB, but the connection is always necessary.  In addition, another PC in the system comes to a similar question which I have not yet tried to.  Is there anything else I could try before a reinstall?

Let me make it more clear.
    It's a welcome screen...

    or the classic logon screen...

    ?

If so you're only option here is to reinstall.

  • Missing "task system" box in xp family "my computer" window in admin account '.

    Hello.

Running XP Home SP3 2 GB RAM P4 2.8.  All updates applied.

Yes, I know this is an older operating system, and some get weird with age and use.  Not a hardware problem.

1.) in limited user, I can open the my computer window by double-clicking on the icon my computer on the desktop.  A window opens and displays the two boxes on the left side, the 'system' and 'other missions. "

(2.) in admin, as above, except "Task system" is missing.  In its place is a box of "picture tasks.  "Other tasks" is present.

I lost this feature somehow.  I use system primarily tasks to display the content of the disc and once finished, allow to hide the drive again.  I don't see that the WINDOWS folder shows pictures on it as if it were a folder of image any.  That is perhaps why?

How to restore the system task box in the admin window?

In limited user WINDOWS folder is generic, as it should.

    Thank you.

EDIT: Both pis.  I fixed it myself.  Open by double click my computer > tools > Folder Options.  Click Folder Options on the menu drop down > new window will open.  Click View tab > click Reset all folders.  A dialog box will pop and ask if you want to continue? > Yes.  This fixed my issue.  Very simple to do.

    Hello Joe Schmoecher,

Glad to hear that you were able to resolve the issue and thank you for sharing the resolution with us!

  • Windows 7 admin password request run a program.

I have recently installed a program, and when a user account (with without administrator privileges) tries to run the program, windows 7 request the user to enter the Admin password.

Is it possible for me to turn it off? After all what is the use if we have to enter a password for the admin to run all programs on a PC.

A quick response will be more appreciated.

  • Question connects to the Windows 7 admin password

Same o, lost password admin. Stop, I withdraw that. Windows 7 has a problem with the admin passwords. The pirates are not. Why do we have to pay? We are not all day for pc users, we just want to be able to use it without worrying about what we missed along the way. Some of us do not know what you should know and we suffer for it. Microsoft should really deal with this question, but they moved him expect everyone to do the same. I have a brick 500.00 dollar with 6 GB of ram, bo - ho. Just put more money I don't have. We could think about what an i5 would be smarter with windows 7 in there. Life is hard and then you die. glensta

Original title: password admin windows 7, or the death of a pc... ?

My question is is it dead or is there a way to unlock your computer yet? My son is a computer technology and cannot find a way without going into the registry. To bad he lives 400 miles away, I would have known to have a backup plan. glensta

It is a violation of the code of conduct in this forum to publish information on the cracking of passwords in Windows. Take the machine to a computer repair shop to show the property so that they can solve your problem. When the machine is once again of the device, you must create, test, and document an alternative admin count so that you never again fall into such a trap. It's the same thing with your room key: we always have a spare key.

  • Windows 7 admin password

I just got a new machine win 7 installation that he don't ask me a password to admin, only a password for my username.  When I try and login as administrator and leave the password blank, it just keeps asking me a password. Tried my password user and still nothing. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Don't know if I can ad a user named 'administrator' and who would do the trick?  Thank you

The 'administrator' user is disabled by default in Windows Vista and later versions.  You should not have any reason to enable/open a session as 'administrator' and can leave safely disabled and unused.  What you trying to do?

    1. what happens when you try to connect to the administrator account?

    2. do you get an error message?

    3. are you aware of changes to the computer before the show?

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • Windows 8 admin password problem

I have a problem with the admin password. Here's what I did.

PC has been implemented with the joe as an administrator user.

Created the new jim as an administrator user. When I did that he asked only my email address that I have provided. This email is not linked to anywhere. It's just an email address.

    New user created.

Modified original joe of normal user user.

Then I tried to log in as an administrator and he asked for which I don't have the password. I can't change anything nor normal (as he has no right to administrator) or as an administrator as I have no password.

    Help?

OK this resolved. I hope this helps others too. Once you are in the BIOS, select the tab startup options select Advanced. Enable launch MSC record restart output. Enter the BIOS/Boot and your options there are now devices all attached. Select DVD etc save exit restart with the CD in the drive. The CD must of course have your chosen on that password recovery software. Fact! Pain in * Windows 8!

  • Help, please! Windows WebLogic admin server and managed server service

    Hello

I have an admin server and 2 managed servers. I want to create a windows service so that my server admin and 2 managed servers start as a windows service.

I'm following the documentation at: http://weblogic-wonders.com/weblogic/2011/02/01/weblogic-as-a-windows-service/

but I have problems understanding as the documentation lacks some important points. It says that I need to create a custom startup script.

Can someone please tell me: -.

    (1) I have to create 3 different with 3 different (one for the server admin) file names and 2 for managed servers?

    (2) what should be the names? I've created a script with the name startAdminServer.cmd for the administrator of the server to destination = > C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\base_domain\config\startup but it gives me an error when I try to run the script by saying 'the file name, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect. "

    (3) is the content of the script correct admin = >

    SETLOCAL

    Set DomainName = Wonders_Domain

    Set USERDOMAIN_HOME = C:\BEA103\user_projects\domains\Wonders_Domain

    Define SERVER_NAME = AdminServer

    Set WL_HOME=C:\BEA103\wlserver_10.3

    Set WLS_USER = weblogic

    Set WLS_PW = weblogic

    Set PRODUCTION_MODE = true

    MEM_ARGS =-Xms512m-Xmx512m set

    Call "% WL_HOME%\server\bin\installSvc.cmd".

    ENDLOCAL

    (4) after I executed the script mentioned above what are my next steps? I create a similar script as the one above for example managed servers and run them individually?

    (5) after I ran all 3 scripts change the installSvc.cmd file to set a delay so that the managed servers start after the server administrator? How do I do that?

I would appreciate any assistance. Please let me know if you have any questions. I tried to explain it the best possible.

    Hello

    The post below

    http://WebLogic-wonders.com/WebLogic/2011/02/01/WebLogic-as-a-Windows-service/

shows how we can make the server administrator and the server run as a windows service, referring to an area of sample called 'Wonders_Domain '.

    Your questions:

(* 1) I have to create 3 different with 3 different (one for the server admin) file names and 2 for managed servers? *

Rep. : Yes, the settings of the server administrator and the managed server are different then you its recommended to have scripts for each of the servers.

(* 2) what should be the names? I've created a script with the name startAdminServer.cmd for the administrator of the server to verbal-online C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\base_domain\config\startup but it gives me an error when I try to run the script by saying 'the file name, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect. " *

Rep. : The name is not important. The values contained in the script should be relevant to your area of work environment.

The values in the pasted script refers to the environment of the author, replace them with your own environment settings.

You can specify the servername, DomainName, USERDOMAIN_HOME, WL_HOME according to your environment.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Kind regards
    Julien
