  I have a Pavilion dv9076eu laptop, which came with XP was preinstalled. I worked with XP (Pro x 86) for a while, and HP stopped then update its driver, then I moved to Vista (Ultimate x 86).

  Now, I want to upgrade to Windows 7 (x 86, Pro or Ultimate).

  Are there opportunities that Windows 7 drivers released on my machine at any time in the future?

  If this isn't the case, other o/s drivers can be used with 7?

  The specifications may be compatible with Windows 7, but still not supported by HP.  HP does not recommend, but if you decide to upgrade there may be ways to find the drivers you need.  On the one hand, Microsoft has included many more drivers in Windows 7 than in previous versions of operating system. Windows Update may be able to provide what you are looking for.   If it is possible to 'upgrade' and do not do a custom or clean install then you will find that many Vista drivers will work on Windows 7.  And if all else fails, this forum is available.  Making a record of recovery if you have not already.

  Hello. I have a laptop HP Pavilion dv6100 CTO and I just did a clean install of Windows 7 Pro 32 bit and now I can not find drivers!

  Windows update does nothing and will not be the last "search for updates" screen. The laptop has a GeForce 6150 Integrated GPU go and I can not the Nvidia driver either, at least not the driver. Is there an nforce chipset? The site of HP said the only supported driver is for XP or Vista and Vista with the same kernal I tried to download those with no luck. Any ideas? I can't believe that there are no drivers compatible with windows 7. There is a lot of material not recognized, but I do not know what. I have internet and sound, although the system is much slower that we shouldn't. No work around? What happened to Windows 10?

  I don't think it's worth paying money for drivers.

  Everything you need to know is the hardware ID's for the missing devices, google and you will normally find the answer to what drivers you need.

  You can also google how to find the ID of the hardware for a device.

  For the 3xBSD you need this driver...

  I had read the guide to upgrade windows 7 dv6000 to find out if there are suggestions that are of help to you.

  I have a dv6000 model newer than yours I gave suite (dv6810us) with the nvidia chipset and amd processor, and he ran W7 x 64 very well.  No problem at all.  That one had the Nvidia 7150 graphics.

  Just using the support page Vista drivers worked for me.

  The only drivers W7 I used were the quick launch buttons driver that I posted for you and the software of wireless assistant W7 (required only if you want to turn the cards wireless and bluetooth on and off separately).

  My dad just bought this computer it's a 23-G010 Pavilion and windows 8.1 was just too much of a learning curve for him. I install Windows 7 because I saw that HP had driver for this model on the website here, so here's my problem when I click on section chipset drivers I see only drivers intel and this computer has AMD processor and motherboard AMD. I was able to find all the driver but 1Son for USB controllers, there are 4 hardware ID's so I go just to the top of the list, it is PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7814 & SUBSYS_2B08103C & REV_1 if anyone can point me to the last driver I would appreciate it a lot.

  Also, I don't know for some if this computer comes with a variant of Intel or not, but someone should let hp know they have Intel drivers listed for download to a computer AMD.

  Sorry this chipset driver did not work even if he says that USB 3.0 drivers are provided.

  Installation usually both of these drivers work when the chipset driver is unable to install usb 3.0 controllers.

  I need original drivers for Pavilion a300n (hw bom: o(or 0) Nb121110, BOM SW: NA30, ABA-System # DM 169 a, Serial # {Private Information Removed}). Running Winndows XP SP2. (Now SP3 won't load right.) I recorded this computer and do the backup CD, but all is lost over time. I found the original key of Windows so I could reinstall from an another Win XP Pro (SP2) STV CD not all the drivers I need were provided, in particular noise and the ethernet drivers. They are part of the motherboard and I can't IDENTIFY them. I used Speccy to try to get the details of the hardware, but he has not found an audio adapter or Ethernet adapter. guess it's because the drivers are not installed (hope this isn't a motherboard problem).

  Here is the audio driver for your computer.  This is all original drivers and softwarefor the computer.

  The truth is, you have found the 'end of life' to your computer.  It's like a model 'A' Ford compared to a Fararri.  If you have not used a newer computer, you can't even tell the difference.

  My step daughter has finally threw his arms up in the air and agreed that win 8 is more pain on a desktop that is worthwhile and is not for her.

  We have installed Windows 7 64 bit and are now just trying to find the compatible drivers for SM Bus controller and usb 3.0.

  I'm assuming that the drivers for usb 3.0 as the keyboard and mouse are ok, just the 2 front usb 3.0 do not work (although that seemed to have given up after a week).

  We executed the 'original' pilots when he was running Win 8 x 64, but they don't seem to have. Maybe a compatibility problem, can be me as it was very early this morning when I gave up for a while.

  Any help/pointers gratefully received
