  The company I work for just bought a TouchSmart from HP ENVY 15-j002eo. It's the first of this model and it came with Windows 8 is installed. Problem is that we use Windows 7 as standard and Deploying via sccm 2012. According to the HP support site this computer does not have drivers for Windows 7, but I decided to try it anyway.

  # You have need Vista compatible drivers - it's the only way it will work.  Installing bad drivers can even to hurt the unit or even your system to not try.  Get a new USB device that works with Vista, and has the correct drivers.

• Hi all, I have the drivers for my computer laptop dv4-2170us, but I can not intall them.

  So, I recently formatted my laptop just because I had to change my hard drive. I installed BACK Windows 7 Home Premium and downloaded all the drivers on the HP website. Some of them have been installed correctly, but some, like the webcam, dvd software were not. For now, my remote does not work correctly and some features like when I raise the volume I can't see the bar on the screen. When I try to install them, they extract the files and then stops.   I tried to get the support of Windows and HP. Both provided the fix "try this" obvious I had already tried. Nothing has worked. I came to the conclusion that my video card is outdated. I have replaced this with a MSI R5450 \AMD Radeon graphics card video card, loaded the drivers and all is well. My computer is a custome built computer and videocard resident was an AMD processor. I think that if I find the network card, I can perhaps download the driver for him and connect.
