  • New installation of Windows 7; No driver for the wireless adapter

    Ohmuhgod, please help!

I'm on a Pavilion G7 - 2017cl and just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I installed all the recommended drivers, software and upgrades http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5275...              and everything is going well except for the wireless network card driver. the sp57538.exe and the sp56154.exe do not install correctly.

In the devices under other devices Manager, there's a yellow! indicator "Network controller" with "manufacturer: unknown" and under the hardware id is:

    PCI\VEN_168C & DEV_0032 & SUBSYS_1838103C & REV_01
    PCI\VEN_168C & DEV_0032 & SUBSYS_1838103C

I tried: manually update the driver with several other downloads of various products of hp as a poke-and-hope approach; all the different combinations of deactivation/activation of the active devices while trying to install the drivers; install drivers in safe mode; Uninstall and reinstall the software amd chipset driver; HP Support Assistant; A patch of Bios setting parameters by default after a hard reset; and at my wits end, reinstalling the operating system and install all the fresh drivers one by one with a reboot after each... same result.

I've been googling and binging for about ten hours... magical HP assistants, please send me a patch!

  • Provided the driver for the wireless adapter is unable to install DW1550

    Hello

I just reinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit on my Alienware X 51 R2, and I made sure to follow the order of installation of driver found here: http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/04/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?c=us&l=en&s=gen&docid=268873

However, when I tried to install the driver provided on the Dell Support Site for the wireless Dell 1550 card wireless network, the installation fails systematically. I've included the output of the log below:

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Hello!

The current driver for this wireless card is version: 6.5.1.4400, A00, so I think that you have downloaded the wrong driver. Try to install from this link.

For later use, I recommend that you use this article for instructions on how to install the drivers.

Let me know how it goes!

  • Windows 8 drivers for the printer HP Officejet Pro 8600Plus

Where can I download windows drivers for the printer HP Officejet Pro 8600Plus 8?

I think I see what's happening. You have recently upgraded to Windows 8, and you don't have to uninstall and reinstall the software for your printer for the new OS. Now, nothing works as it should. Fortunately, this is a fairly simple solution. Uninstall the printer software and reinstall it using the packaging designed for Windows 8. I'll link the software below. Let me know what happens.

  • Y at - it Windows 7 drivers for this wireless and bluetooth device?

Have a DELL XPS 8700 with the following wireless and bluetooth chipset/map:

Intel wireless Bluetooth 4.0 + HS adapter

Intel Dual Band Wireless - AC 7260

Are there drivers for Windows 7 64 bit for this chipset? Reason why I asked was when I tried to get DELL to install Windows 7 Pro instead of the Windows 8.1 on my machine, their excuse was that there were no drivers for these 2 items in Windows 7. I do not quite believe them.

Having someone here "converted" Windows 8.1 (not pro) for Windows 7 and you have the mentioned chipset here?

    The guide says:

The schema partition and target system type set as default system BIOS or UEFI computers MBR partition and can be used in most cases.

In the rare cases where you need to install on a 3 to or more large drive with a SecureBoot/UEFI BIOS select GPT partition system for UEFI computers (I have not tested).

So, if I did not need to install Windows 7 on a 3 TB drive, it will be better to disable the secure boot and UEFI to legacy? Or do I only in order to disable secure startup, but the setting UEFI?

Reason why I ask, is that the other installation of Windows 7 guides you need to disable these two parameters, but in the guide you sendt me it seems that the only thing I should maybe change the start setting secure. Or maybe not?

    Hello

Download driver wireless on the link below and save it to your desktop.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp48501-49000/sp48591.exe

When the download is complete, right-click on the Setup program and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When finished, restart the computer and check if the wireless device is now correctly installed.

  • 2009 m: Windows 10 drivers for the monitor

I want to know how long will be release HP compatible drivers for my 2009 m that will work in Windows 10? It's ridiculous!

I tried to get the support of Windows and HP. Both provided the fix "try this" obvious I had already tried. Nothing has worked. I came to the conclusion that my video card is outdated. I have replaced this with a MSI R5450 \AMD Radeon graphics card video card, loaded the drivers and all is well. My computer is a custome built computer and videocard resident was an AMD processor. The computer is 4 years old since it was built, but apparently it's an eternity in the world of computing. In any case, everything is good now, two screens work as expected!

  • Windows 7 drivers for the computer laptop hp envy 15-j001er

Hello. I have a laptop hp envy 15-j001er, who initially had Windows 8 OS. I will install Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 (cause I don't like 8). But there is no driver for win7 to the model of my laptop HP's official website and also on the NVidia site for my video card. What should I do? Where can I find the drivers?

For other drivers you need, you can use all the W7 x 64 drivers from the G1 to 450 Probook.

  • Huawei has installed a malware during the installation of the drivers for the wireless modem: tips to remove the registry keys?

    Huawei sd usb storage

Applies to: Windows | Windows Vista | Hardware and drivers

A month before, I let a co-worker install a modem Wireless USB as Huawei to use my laptop somewhere without wifi service.  Subsequently, I uninstalled the software drivers because I don't think I'll ever use this modem again.

Now, I noticed that there are several registry keys for different devices of e/s as:
    Huawei_sd_storage_usb
    and
    Huawei_some other drive type

None of these registry keys can be deleted, I get an error saying that "year error occurred during an attempt to delete the key.  Same thing if I try to write data in the registry key.  This behavior resembles a persistent virus and not a register legitimate supporting a legitimate PnP device.

I then rebooted in safe MODE, thinking which should pick up anything the malware is hung.  No go, same thing, cannot remove the key and cannot modify the data in the key.

None of the malware scanners were able to detect this, including:
    Paid last AVG
    Windows Defender
    Microsoft Security Essential
    Spybot S & D latest
    Malware Microsoft Fixit

I don't trust Huawei, and what look like these keys are to monitor my laptops I/O activities through any player or the USB port.

    HP DV5t-1000 CTO
    Pentium dual core 2.54
4 GB of DDR, Home Premium Vista 64

I'm moving your question on the forum of Windows for material and the Drivers. These are the registry keys related to the legitimate drivers provided by the manufacturer of the device and are not related to malware.

Note, however, that you have an overload of running security software and some should be deleted. If you use Microsoft Security Essentials, you must disable Windows Defender in Vista and AVG should be removed, preferably using the AVG removal tool. I have no idea what is the Microsoft Malware Fixit.

You should never have more than one security product installed on the PC, providing active protection / scan. This can cause performance problems, system instability and may adversely affect the effectiveness of these two products to provide protection.

  • Do I find windows 7 drivers for the HP Pavilion P7-1512?

As a company, we are not anywhere ready for Windows 8 again, indeed, we would like to ignore this version that we still are performing compared to the cost to move all our PC from XP to 7 during this economy.

We found that we were able to use the Vista drivers when companies such as Dell did not Windows 7 on some PCs support here, but it is frustrating to find now that the new PC does not have the older operating systems at best.  Will get us into a period that does each PC that we buy to run the OS, it was built for?

    Thank you.

  • Need drivers for the wireless on Qosmio F20

    Hi how are you?
I have a Qosmio F20 and I need to go wireless, but I am not able.
I checked the device manager and I only find 1394 Net adapt.
Download any driver from site Qosmio F20?

    Thank you very much

At the bottom of the unit, you should find a label of the WLan card.
If the WLan card rating fails, I guess that your phone does not support a minPCI wireless network card.

As macdreamy1984 has also suggested the card WLan must be listed in the device under network adapters Manager if it has been installed on the laptop
