Clean install of windows 7 - How to install the USB drivers?
I bought a Toshiba Satellite C50 loaded with windows 8, but want to go back to windows 7.
I downloaded the drivers needed and have mounted the .exe files on a USB pen for installation.
Before proceeding to clean windows 8, I would like to know - if I install 7 will be my trackpad stopped working?
If so, how to install relevant drivers from the USB pen?
Thank you, John

Of course, this might work.
After Installing Win 7, you should be able to install the drivers for the USB flash memory key. -
I started a thread in another forum (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-windows_update/i-don), but was told to start a new thread in this forum if I still need help. I still need some help, so I'm here. My original post was as follows:
My hard drive crashed. It was replaced and the outside company installed the OS for me. However, I'm in a French country and they had no English operating system share so installed the french operating system without telling me. I left it as it is that I had to install my other apps in a hurry. Now, I want to change the language of the OS in English without having to reinstall the operating system. The MS help Web site gives this page with instructions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/install-languages-with-windows-update, but I don't get the language packs when I click on "View available updates". How can I install the English language interface pack, if it is not displayed?
Hello
read this:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/how-do-I-get-additional-language-files
you who never read another answer you completely or correctly
you have vista Home premium and the other answer correctly indicated that you can not change the display language of vista Home premium, which is what you're tryin gto
you will need to either buy a ultimate upgrade, in french, then download the English language pack, as already stated
or buy a full vista Home premium in English

[1] relative to the first, third and fourth link: already done - the regional formats and input languages to the keyboard/are not the problem
[2] re second link: that's where I started. If you follow the links on this page, you get finally to the page I linked in my original post, above. It says select a languge in the update of Windows
If the language you want does NOT have a downloadlink on http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/languages, what you did (for example, adding input interface & English language keyboard) is ALL you can do with a Vista Home Premium French-language version.
If you want any display in English, you need to install the English Language Pack , which, as you know, is only available for Vista Ultimate computers.
Yes, it's unnecessarily confusing and convoluted but WYSIWYG, I'm afraid. You have that would be to buy an Anytime Upgrade from Vista Ultimate, (b) a Win7 Home Premium update (and then an Anytime Upgrade to Win7 Ultimate) or (c) a full-detail of a language version English version of any version of Win7... which will be probably much more expensive than buying a brand new computer with a version of English language of Win7 preinstalled (and good luck finding that in a French speaking country).
Wish I had better news for you.

Windows 7 How to install Freeze
I bought a new hard drive on my PC because my old one no longer works. To go with it, I also bought a Windows 7 installation disc. However, while the installation loads, it freezes on Windows startup, just before the Windows logo forms so there is only four square balls training. I looked on the net and found two articles, one indicating a problem with the CD itself and another site of Microsoft on a 64 - bit error message. Although I have not received the error messages, the gel were trying to install a 64-bit?
my machine used to run Windows 8 and was bought in may 2014, so it's quite new, but I'm not sure about 32 or 64-bit version. The Tower does not have the operating system bundled with it and even less type, and I'm unable to enter the pc to check that the hard drive is not working.
I want to clarify the nature of the gel before you ask for a replacement or a 32-bit version CD and winding up with the same problem. Then your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!
SOLVED! I turned on legacy boot (which has been disabled on the advice of another site) - so all I had to do was switch to ide - didn't even not need to disable anything!

How to install Windows XP using USB Flash Drive in Windows 7?
I m windows 7 and want to install windows xp, how to install windows xp using a usb flash drive. I have the iso file from xp.
Hello
The Microsoft Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool is designed for the installation of Windows 7, is not for the installation of XP.
I suggest that you use Google that Microsoft does not support what you want to do.

How to install two operating systems on a single computer
Original title: windows
How to install two operating systems on a single computer, xp and windows 7... ?
Hello
Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. For the installation of two Windows OS (called Dual Boot), you first determine what exactly the BONES. Based on this, you can proceed to install the oldest operating system first, then installing the latest OS. Here, in your case, Windows XP first and then Windows 7.If you change the order, the latest version of Windows will not work correctly. In addition, you can use Virtual PC or VMware to use Windows XP in Windows 7. Windows XP Mode is another version of Microsoft which allows you to use Windows XP in Windows 7 through Virtual PC. You can download Windows XP Mode from here:http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/Virtual-PC/Download.aspxTo install Windows XP Mode, you must have Windows 7 Professional or higher, with hardware virtualization enabled in your PC (you should check in the BIOS of your PC). If you prefer Windows XP Mode, you don't have to install Windows XP in the above mentioned way. It installs like any other program on Windows 7.Note that if you have Windows 7 Edition Home Premium or lower edition, you can try Windows XP using Virtual PC/VMware or dual-boot. -

I had removed several programs from my computer recently and should have removed a component that I shouldn't have. When starting my computer, Windows Installer window lights up and starts trying to install "TrayApp.msi. He cannot complete the it and the installation never ends. This prevents me to install or to uninstall because it is running all the time. I can't launch more restoration. How can I disable Windows Installer or find what is simply this TrayAPP program.
If this is an HP computer, go to their website and download all the software for printing and imaging products you have. See here:

I don't think that you can install Windows 7 with Boot Camp on El Capitan:
- A Microsoft Windows installation media or disc image (ISO) containing a 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows 8 or later *.
From: How to install Windows using Boot Camp - Apple Support.
Windows 10 is simply too new for your Mac, and Windows 7 is too old. It is quite a difficult situation. If you really need Windows, you would need to get a copy of Windows 8, or put to level to an earlier version of Mac OS X with a version of Boot Camp that works in Windows 7.
