Windows 7 Installation Blue Screen

Yesterday I tried to install Win 7 on my system. I was doing a new installation for a dual-boot. I tried to install on a fresh partition on the same HARD drive Win XP is on. And I also tried to do an install on my 2nd HARD drive which is used as a storage drive. Each attempt (there are many) it let me get to the initial installation and I then me 1 of 2 different blue screens... One, I would get during the expansion of the files during installation or just before the front part it would even transfer the files on the Blue error screen is:

(A clock interrupt will was not received on a secondary processor with in the allotted time interval).

And another error blue screen, I had received is:
Stop: 0 x 00000101 (0 x 0000000000000000, 0xfffff880009e7180, 0 x 0000000000000031, 0 x 0000000000000001)

This error, I got immediately after it finished expanding files and the initial report put the process in place he slammed the BSOD on me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'd love to work with Win 7 but still keep Win XP on my system.

I forgot to add, regarding the system, I have absolutely no problem with Win XP and the system will work any program I throw with an error. This only started happening with the installation of Win 7.

If any other information would be useful, please let me know.

    Before starting the installation you need to format the HARD disk or an entire partition. Then you can install your operating system with the original CD of Microsoft Windows XP.     Windows 7 - Crash blue screen - STOP: 0X000000F4

    Screen shows e blue screen will display the following error code:

    I tried to restore the mode, the safe & all the option available to start properly.  Given that I have no DVD of windows 7 to re - install windows again.
    My question is as follows:
    -Is - error code says something.
    -A way to re - install windows without CD or DVD or save the image.
    -Also, I can read and access data from the C: & D: drive in cmd in restore mode guest mode.

    So please could you confirm, how do I reinstall windows again. As I see there are recovery drive comes when I use the SSD as external drive.

  • Windows 7 clean installation Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) on a loop of reboot

    Aloha everyone,
    I did an install customized windows 7 on a new Western Digital 1 TB sata hard drive, which has been formatted, partitioned, scandisk, and a ntfs c drive was created prior to installation.
    The installation ended safely.  I then install my screen reader, Window-Eyes, requiring a reboot.  After the reboot, I started to install critical updates to Windows.  On my fourth update and restarting, I got the blue screen of death, that of some people call a BSoD.  I rebooted and Windows itself restored to a previous state of good, of my just accept the default choice.  Then the rear computer works, but if I stop, restart I get the blue screen of death (BSod) is back, and the loop begins again, i.e. windows restores good condition that works well, until you stop, but on reboot - BSoD is BACK!
    I removed the automatic update option, I disabled ScanDisk, drivers updated, bluetooth devices, deactivated sideshow, etc., without any positive result.  I called Microsoft for assisstance and the technician acted like this isn't a known issue, but he assured me that he could solve the problem.  He took control of my computer remotely and do not tell me anything except that the computer would check and repair any problem on reboot, and if he did does not resolve the problem, I have to remember.  The computer has rebooted without the BSod, but I stopped to check if the loop went, and it is not!  To restart the BSOd was back.  It is to note that if I put the computer to sleep, I get a clean start, but stop, restart or hibernation, I get the blue screen of death (BSoD)!
    It is a Dell Dimension XPS 420 with a intel Q6600 processer, 3 GB of ddr2 memory, which came with OS Vista Home premium 32-bit.  The Vista system, the last time I got a BSoD has been for more than a year.

    After researching this problem on Google, it appears that there is a problem without a solution.

I'll never upgrade a Windows operating system.  My recommendation for anyone who is planning to upgrade to Windows 7 is to try first on a dual boot using the free download.  If it works for you, consider yourself lucky and buy the upgrade.  If it does not, then remove Windows 7 and stay with your old system.

    OK, I've had so many problems with this computer and I would love to have the support of the community.
    I have a Gateway desktop that is labeled for Windows vista. I had already installed Windows but a virus brought me to uninstall. I don't have the disc, but I have a flash drive with windows 7 on it. So I have my computer to run the player flash start run the windows setup program. I get to the part after the selection of my hard drive. It comes down to 50-60% full, and then it stops at a blue screen with stop code error 0 x 00000024 (0x0000000000190FB 0XFFFFF88003B8C269 0XFFFFF88003BAC0 0XFFFFF8000D292FOD) I have searched and searched for a solution but none to my knowledge, I am only 16 and very bad so I can not affored a new computer, or a repair of $75.   • XP installation blue screens

    I have a R100 and also a P2000 and uses an external cd-rom Toshiba F - TO - CD - 24 L with adapter PCMCIA.

    During the installation of XP blue screens exactly the same installation point on two laptops. It is at the stage of setting up pre - gui that is right before you accept the EULA.

    I tried changing the settings of Cardbus, using a different external (Freecom) CD and can't get out.

    I can use the restore cd but don't want to because I need to prepare an image of the company.

    I called the technical support of Tosh and they claim, there is no problem and that they do not support anything other than the restore cd and not ready to discuss it.

    Original title: cannot format the new hard drive because when I boot the system disk it stops with several STOP error.

    I am trying to solve problems with desktop Dell XPS 420 of my daughter.     Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? My funds are limited to pay Dell for the solution.  Thank you.

    I still don't understand why you think that you need a new hard drive. There is nothing prevents you to install own XP on the old disk.

    If you can't find the right drivers (I don't know where to find them), maybe you can get in Dell's BIOS and change the hard drive controller affecting IDE or legacy or something like that. Then the new disc would work.

    Or you can simply put the back of an old man. You can either try to repair your installation of Windows with our help or opt to perform a clean installation.

    References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

    BCCode: 0x0000007f with the parameter 00000008 7f usually means a hardware problem.

    Have you added a hardware or drivers updated recently? Check Control Panel - Windows

    • 0x00000005, or limits check fault, indicates that the processor, then executing a BOUND instruction, determines that the operand exceeds the specified limits. A BOUND instruction ensures that a signed array index is within a certain range.
    • 0 x 00000006 or Opcode not valid, indicates that the processor attempts to execute an invalid instruction. This error occurs generally when the instruction pointer is corrupted and point to the wrong address. The most common cause of this error is hardware memory corruption.
    • 0x00000008 or Double fault, indicates that an exception occurs during a call to the previous exception handler. In general, two exceptions are handled in series. However, there are several exceptions that cannot be handled serially, and in this case, the processor signals a double fault. There are two common causes of a double fault


    CAUSE

    0x7F bug check occurs after the installation of a faulty or incompatible hardware (including memory) or if installed hardware fails.

    A double fault can occur when the kernel stack overflows. This overflow occurs if multiple drivers are attached to the same battery. For example, if two file system filter drivers are associated to the same stack and then again the recursively of file system, the capacity of the battery.

    Solve the problem

    Troubleshooting: If you have recently added the material to the computer, remove to see if the error recurs. If the hardware failure existing, remove or replace the faulty component.     Overclocking (setting of the CPU to run at a speed higher than the nominal specification) can cause this error. If you have overclocked to the computer that is experiencing the error, return the CPU to default clock speed setting.

    Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device or driver that generated the error. You can also disable caching memory BIOS to try to resolve the problem.

    If you have encountered this error during the upgrade to a new version of the Windows operating system, the error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.     Three weeks, my computer began to experience regular blue screens for no discernible reason. My first instinct was to update all my drivers and make sure that I had all the latest updates, I also ran several diagnostics; memory and hardware checks, analyses the virus, it came up saying everything's fine.
