  I have a computer laptop lenovo, and a cleaning set up using the OEM through the DVD license from digital river. (Win 7 Home premium)
  Use it for awhile, I upgraded my RAM (-2G), then I'll have an invalid activation message.
  I thought this only happens when I change my motherboard, but sometimes also the RAM upgrade (+ 2G)?
  I heard that I had to call someone to fix it, but can't find the right number.
  Could someone help me on the number? or another way to solve this problem?

  I have a DV6 and after many hardships, restored to Win7 because I felt that an older OS where everything worked was much higher than a more recent OS where many things were "broken."

  There is not need - and no point - to 'disable' Windows before installing a new drive (or a new machine)

  Such a procedure is relevant that when you change the product key on the current installation, as no changes only occur on the Server Activation of Ms. MS senior officials also suggest that the procedure is actually dangerous!

  Unless you use recovery media from the manufacturer for the new installation, you MUST use the product key of the COA sticker or your full license to install retail package - if you try to use the key found a tool Keyfinder, chances are that it will not work.

  I suggest you to do a scan of the SFC. File system (CFS) Auditor verifies that all Windows 7 system files are where they should be as they are by default and not corrupted, changed or damaged.

• No activity after updating BIOS on Satellite P10

  I own a Satellite P10 part No. PSP10C-07610. I'm trying to update the BIOS with the update of the BIOS (Windows Setup) Version 2 that I found on the site of drivers & downloads for Toshiba Canada. After the execution of exe. file (I think that on the end of the process) my laptop off and since only the system starts up.

  The hard drive doesn't show any activity. It is similarly of the screen (even with an external monitor). The unit shows LED market, but nothing more.
  Does anyone have a solution?

  Your description does not sound very well.
  I mean it looks like that the BIOS update procedure went wrong and only EPA could help solve this problem.

  Maybe you are a lucky man and only the BIOS has to be flashed again.
  Ask if the service provider authorized in your country a help!

  My laptop has been recently would be RMA and they replaced the motherboard, keyboard and VGA card. Shortly after receiving this return, Windows began to ask for an activation code. Unfortunately, I didn't write mine down, and the sticker is now faded and illegible. I sent my new laptop because that's what the OEM has asked that I do and they replaced my HARD drive and installed Vista fresh. It does not solve the problem at all.

  Without my original activation code, I don't think I can reactivate Windows. Is there anyway to recover my product key or how to contact Microsoft to get a new one? Because it seems that through my OEM drives me nowhere as they want me to RMA again.

  This problem can occur if the update has not been installed correctly or some system files have been corrupted.

  When you say "Please wait" can you give us the full error you see on the screen?

  To solve this problem we need an installation media to boot to the Windows Recovery Partition, or if your laptop came built-in with Windows 8 it must have a built-in recovery partition.

  Boot from the recovery partition of Windows using the recovery or recovery 8 Windows partition or the installation media.

  Once you're on the Windows recovery options, please restore the system from there.

  Two times the same problem. Problem after installing updates Windows 7 x 64 d Description of the problem: after installing six update - restart windows - after entering the password to login as an administrator - I... Hmmm... does not further!

  I suspect that some sort of update is in conflict with a program of the factory. Technical Microsoft said there are no other entries with the same problem.
