Windows 7 repeated Instal Fail Intel Graphics 4400

I feel a lot of frustration at the failure of an update for Intel Graphics 4400; The error code is 80070103.

Does Nom for months. When I stopped he tries once again to install the same. There is a long list of fails in the list update for Windows. I'd be happy with any solution including just stop this sequence to occur.

It is a bad update.  Start windows Update.  When he arrives with the list, right-click on it and choose hide.

Chances are very slim that you need for an update to this driver.  If you want to check, first go to your site to support OEM (your computer manufacturer) and check if there is a new driver.  Second, you can go to the Intel driver update utility and check.

Under no circumstances should use you one of these myriads of web sites that offer drivers.  They are false and can damage your system.

The current version of the driver is 8.15.10.1930.  The version of the driver that I am trying to download is 15.12.75.4.1930.  I checked to see if it is compatible with the chipset and is it supposed to be.  The chipset is 945/Pl/G/GZ, Rev A2

I use Intel Driver Update Utility that is the update of the driver.  I download the driver, but when I try to install, shortly after update Intel says installation failed.  So why can't the new driver to install.  Thank you.

Thank you to answer, but the correction of a problem.

I tried for a few hours and several times and I kept getting the message that the installation has failed.

I stopped by train, posted this message and returned later to the computer to do work.  When the computer has started a black box open during startup that resembled a command prompt screen.  But orders and yes there are commands in the box, were automatic and down themselves. It lasted only a few seconds and the closed box.  This has happened then twice I started the computer.  Then later, when I started the computer I decided I'd give it another try and found the driver had been installed.

I know that I didn't install it because whenever I tried it is impossible to install.  I can only assume that everything that was going on when the black box has appeared, ran it's own commands solved installation problem and install the driver...

    Sorry for my bad English!

In General, it is always recommended to use the Toshiba drivers only. Toshiba drivers are tested and adapted to work with graphics placed in the laptop. There are also some overheating protection mechanism and damage graphics card.

If you check this forum, you will find many users with the same problem. manufacturers of graphics cards write on the pages of own download for portable computers, it is strictly recommended to use the drivers from the laptop manufacturer.

I think that you think that is good driver, but do you also think that s Toshiba driver is not good or not good enough?

  • Stop windows update to install Nvidia driver version 52.16

    Hello

Recently, I upgraded the PC of my father to WinXP SP3. It is an old DELL Dimension of 11 years. After installation there is a nagging question that won't stop.

Windows Update keeps trying to install the following:

MICROSOFT VIDEO NVIDIA GEFORCE 4 MX 420

    NVIDIA driver version 52.16

This update is not necessary for the monitor to run.

So far, my difficulty was to start in safe mode and back the driver.

Windows Update repeatedly installed this driver. I have

detailed instructions on how to block this specific update to settle here.

    Thank you

    Dwayne Boyd

To hide an update in Windows XP, just go to the Windows Update site and uncheck the update and click on the + sign next to it. At the bottom of the explanation expanded the update the checkbox to hide this update become active and can be selected, thus masking the update.

Then, you need to remove the update from the temporary folder:

    Stop the automatic updates service

    Click Start, choose run.
In the run box, type services.msc.
    Click OK.
    Right-click the automatic updates service.
    Click on stop.
Stopping the service will take a moment.

Delete the content of the download folder
    Click Start. Choose run.
In the run box, type %windir%\SoftwareDistribution
    Click OK.
    Open the download folder.
Delete all the contents of the download folder.
    Close the window.

    Start the automatic updates service
    Click Start. Choose run.
In the run box, type services.msc.
    Click OK.
    Right-click the automatic updates service.
    Click Start.
Starting the service will take a moment.

By removing the contents of the download folder - you have removed all downloaded
    updates.

Now, the next step would be to configure Windows Update in order to warn only rather than automatically download and install updates. In this way, you stay in control.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/306525

Click Start, click run, type sysdm.cpl, and then press ENTER.

Click the automatic updates tab, and then click to select an Notify me but don't automatically download or install

    I hope this helps.

  • HP G6 1201TX Intel Graphics Driver cannot install

I checked for an update for the graphics card Intel from my laptop.

Version of the HP support site: 8.15.10.2559

Version of the Intel Support site: 9.17.10.3347

    I use a HP G6 1201TX running Windows 7 64 bit on a processor Intel Core i5 2430M.

There is also an AMD Radeon 6470 M GPU.

The site is recommended to use the OEM support Intel driver.

But when I tried to install the driver of HP, I got an error message saying "this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."

    What should I do?

    Hello:

You cannot update the Intel driver when you have switchable graphics.

Setup fails because if you manage to install the updated Intel HD driver then the switchable graphics do not work.

The pilot only you can and need to install is the latest driver for AMD graphics support page and the driver of your laptop.

Who installs the AMD and Intel graphics drivers for your laptop.

  • Error 80070103 - Intel HD 4400 graphics driver

    Separated from this thread.

This update fails every day (same error) but it started as an optional update, now update the lists as a major (?).  I have tried different sections of MS Help, downloads (etc) looking for an update "Intel HD Graphics 4400 driver update for Windows 8.1" (he keeps taking me to Windows 10 information about download, & the "More information" link for this update takes me for a Virgin MS-Unit hardware support page that says "pilot information coming soon") (, which he said to ~ > 2 mos, now)... but I still just short in my own back to hunt me in circles.  I ran the MS Troubleshooter on Win Update, which Said it fixed a few errors, but doesn't understand well what has been "fixed". The dnld still fail ECode w/same... 80070103.

I tried to go to the website of Intel itself but for some God-only-knows-reason, even if I put the site in my list of "Trusted" & enable everything (even the non secure functions/EGP/downloads) IE11 won't let me "use" of the site * EXCEPT * I turn OFF Enhanced Protected Mode {EMP} to Trusted Sites... ! I found that turning off this "EPM" will allow many things/sites actually functions work (for example all msg writing functions on this page - usually, it don't will not let me highlight, bold or italic), instead of the entry-up IE & forcing me to re-start/retrieve the Web page, but I'm far from certain that way to use our computer , AND we have been unsuccessful, get a download from the Intel website in any case. (!??).

In any case, the version of the driver is currently 10.18.14.4264 as dated 04/08/2015 and our screen works well today so I don't feel as if we are in a 'imminent danger '. It would be good to know why * this update is not properly updated (.. .and why EPM causes functions all sites, even it's own *, does not work... but that's another problem [surprise]! ) though.

Sorry for the long, stretched 'me '. Guess I got a little carried away.

    Kind regards

    Zac

    Hi mate

You can install this driver, but you need to use different installation procedure.
You must install it in the Device Manager.

Here, you can choose Advanced Setup, then choose don't search. I will choose the driver, then point to the driver files that you have stored on the HARD disk and complete the installation.

But note; I read here that the use of non-Toshiba drivers is always at your own risk

  • Windows 8 Switchable Graphics Support for AMD Mobility Radeon and 1st Gen Core i5 Intel Graphics

Since I've upgraded to Windows 8 my graphics did not work at all (only the work aside Intel). This is a problem because it seems that my HDMI port is plugged directly into my ATI card and with it disabled I can't play half of my games or make use of my HDMI port. I contacted AMD and have tried all their drivers but nothing has worked for the past 3 months. They said that, because Intel is a competitor, the manufacturer must release these new driver updates to manage the two cards. I couldn't find anything to help me with this and I am planning to switch brands because it has been a frustrating experience for me. In addition, I can not install AMD Catalyst Control Center because for some reason it does not recognize my card. If you guys could help me find a solution to this problem or point me in the right direction would be great. Thank you.

  • AMD/Intel Graphics switchable and upgrade to Windows 8

    Hello world

I know that many HP Pavilion DV6T-6100 Quad Edition Entertainment laptop owners might consider the upgrade to the new Windows 8 operating system platform. DON'T DO IT!

I just bought and installed the official version of Windows 8 Pro o my laptop Pavilion DV6T, which came with Windows 7 pre-installed. I had followed the whole windows 8 preview of the incompatibility issues with the graphics driver fiasco switchable HP for some time. I decided to wait to install the official version of the new OS when it was released on October 26, 2012. I bought and applied the upgrade of Windows 7 to Windows 8 last night.

I thought I'd call HP this morning to find out when they have planned out an official HP Switchable Graphics driver update to resolve incompatibility issues that many HP users have experienced after the upgrade to Windows 8.

    • They've said, in no uncertain terms, "they have a driver available for this problem, but switchable graphic users would have to pay $200 for the reader and have their technical support engineers to apply."
    • He also told me, "HP has no plan to release an update to the free rider problem, so anyone who decided to upgrade to Windows 8 will have to pay support of $200 to fix."
    • I got also said, "my warranty does not cover this update, not being hardware related and related software."

I paid over $1,200 USD for my laptop model HP Pavilion DV6T-6100 CTO, less than a year ago. Switchable graphics on this laptop was actually a selling point for me, as well as many other owners DV6T. I find it a very irresponsible business move for HP handle that many of their customers in this way. No other manufacturer of the laptop charges their customers for updates, while their product is still under warranty. I work in it and I'll make sure that the HP brand is avoided by everyone that I know in the future. HP has ceased to be one of the best manufacturers of PC, regarding their support for the customer, to be the ABSOLUTE WORST!

Every computer I've ever owned was a HP, but I will never buy another PC of this society, ever! It is a promise that will be preserved.

Switchable graphics users per HP: HP has a compatible driver Windows 8 update available, but it will cost $200 more than the price you already paid for your computer and its security.

    Hello Asebeba,

My solution to the problem is neith, supported or recommended by HP.

It is well known that HP released several categories of patterns DV6t. It seems that they knew they were going to get rid of the graphical configuration AMD/Intel switchable by the end of November 2011. Which is a not keep from seeling as of soon to become obsolete DV6t models that have been do with the soon outdated AMD/Intel graphic switchable setting possible. However they they built a little more of these models after their passage of OEM to Microsft Windows 8.

This means that it has supported HP DV6t systems with AMD Switchable graphics, which came the same factories that built our systems, but are running Windows 8. These systems have newer versions of the AMD HD drivers that where fate to the DV6t users whose system supplied with Windows 7 pre-installed.  What are these systems including switchable graphics are incompatible with the 'NEW' Windows 8 and windows 8.1 operating system platforms.

I could give you the exact name of the HP driver for your switchable graphics special configuration that would work flawlessly on your system, but wouldn't you get anything good for me to do. Because of Windows 7 HP Framework installed on your system. You still have questions, try installing updates later than those offered by HP.  HP would also remove any meantion that I would do whatever it is that they offer and which did not come with your system.

    SP59850

As far as I know the latest AMD/Intel driver is offered by HP which works with systems built by them with Windows 8 x 64 bit preinstalled.

Merger of Treexy pilot would be required to uninstall all previous versions of display drivers that you have on your system.

You would also need to disable the Windows 8 and 8.1 automatic update of device functionality. (Go to: settings/PC Info / Protection of the system / hardware / device settings)

    Once there,

Select: "no, let me choose what to do."

Select: "never install driver from Windows Update"

Apply also to the: Action Center settings (settings / control panel / Action Center / change Action Center settings)

Deselect "Device Software" (Yo can also deselect 'Windows Update')

Do not worry! Is not disable Windows Update function. It simply avoids messages from receiviing to update your display drivers that work very well. Do these two things also get rid of this triangle of peskyyellow that appears on your display drivers in Device Manager.

Unistall old drivers display and software. Then, install the latest version of Windows 8 of the package AMD/Intel HD Graphics Driver availible for your particular display configuration. I will also not allow HP Support Center to automatically install the device drivers on your system at this time. In addition, most systems that encounter this issue with display drivers and windows 8 are no longer under warranty anyway.

You will have no additional problems running, use or configuration of your HP AMD/Intel graphics switchable on your, shortly after you bought, card HP DV6t system with AMD/Intel switchable graphics.

No Beta Leshcat driver not required to use the only feature you spent all that money for.
