Windows 7 UL30VT - Nvidia 210 M hybrid - no VGA or HDMI video output

  1. Mechanical hard drive in the laptop has no
  2. Replaced by Intel SSD 520
  3. Installed Windows 7 Pro using OEM product thumbnail on laptop
  4. Installed all the updates to the current specifications
  5. Installed all the drivers on the ASUS support site
  6. Functions of the computer as should except no output on the video ports (1 x vga, 1 x hdmi)
  7. Manager devices displays the exclamation point "!" on driver NVIDIA GeForce G210M
Outputs were initially installed before the hard drive fail, so I know they work very well!
Using all official Windows 7 and most current (and I've tried past!) Drivers for ASUS.
Problem using the Intel VGA drivers (it's hybrid)
My hypothesis is that there is something 'missing' from the hybrid driver but 3 days worth or investigation has left to be puzzled.
I completely cleaned all the drivers and re-installed several times (one thing at a time) to try to find why it does not work.
Thanks for any help. I; m really hope among thousands of users of ASUS ULxx has had the same questions and found a solution.

The solution was so simple, it's annoying considering the time I invested in this.

The BIOS is very sparse, not big thing to set up so I thought I had exhausted the possibilities.
I was going through the defective nvidia driver settings in Device Manager and it dawned on me that a conflict with addresses of memory is a bit like old IRQ conflicts. Then I dared the BIOS again.
There are no settings to change, but I look... Reset to default BIOS.
Bingo... Somehow the "reset" of materials and VGA conflicts worked all of a sudden. He did corrupt my install Win7, but saw that I had done this about 3 times so far this is a no brainier just to re - install again. I hope that the BONE will record is on the forth install? This will probably be my next headache.
In any case thank you for trying with help. Hope this solution helps others more quickly.

  • Horrible framerate after Windows Update for NVIDIA GeForce 7150 M

I started getting a horrible frame rate in games after receiving an update for my NVIDIA GeForce 7150 M / nForce 630M graphics card from Windows Update. NVIDIA provides drivers for laptop graphics cards.  They leave this task up to the OEM.  If you want to try the new Nvidia drivers, laptopvideo2go.com has a few guides and how to install the most recent drivers on laptops such as yours.  I suggest trying some news to see if those to improve your display rate, that HP may have updated Nvidia drivers listed on their website.

  • Update Windows for Vista - NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS driver errors

Update Vista Home Basic 6002:SP2.  Secunia Personal Software Inspector and MS Security Essentials confirm the system software is updated.

Windows Update optional update for NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS on 4/5 and 4/11.  Updates have been declared as 'Successful' but has caused problems of compatibility with the resolution.  (http://winqual.microsoft.com/support/?driverid=20418057) More details below.

HW - Dell 530 with GeForce 8400 GS with BIOS 62.98.71.0.5 - 512 MB of memory dedicated - 767 MB shared memory.

CRT is detected as driver MS running generic PnP 6.0.6001.18000.  The display is an AMW CM1722PF 17 "CRT with a preferred resolution of the 1024x768x70Hz.  (IIRC, MS drivers for Intel 8031 correctly detected VGA display modes, rather than generic report.)

On both NVIDIA driver update attempts, Windows Update reports the success and I rebooted (despite the lack of obligation to restart).  Display was OK on the screen connection, but limited to 640 x 480 on desktop after login.  Edges of the Office had fallen.

In addition, Panel-> NVIDIA Control Panel translates "the NVIDIA Display Panel Extension cannot be created... Possible reasons include the incorrect version.  Reinstall display drivers can fix this problem. »

After the failure of 4/5, I uninstalled Windows Update display drivers and reinstalled on reboot.  Got the NVIDIA Display Panel and appropriate video modes.  Everything was going well until we repeated this Windows Update NVIDIA driver update fiasco 4/11.

Have not repeated the manual Reinstall driver this time, I'm puzzled why Windows Update can't get this right.    This is a very common piece of hardware and you would think that there is regression tests for driver updates.

This makes me wary of Windows Update.  Suggestions?

    Hello

I posted an incorrect link, changed now.

    http://www.AddictiveTips.com/Windows-tips/disable-Windows-Update-device-driver-search-prompt/

The TechNet post link also has the same information.

Or here - manually on a single computer

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc730606 (WS.10) .aspx

Those who work in many cases, I've tried. If you have a current Windows
Update that tries to update a driver, then right-click on it in Windows
Updates and HIDE. There should be no other available.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to properly install Windows 8 on a hdd/ssd hybrid.

I recently bought a hp pavilion ultrabook 14-b112eo (hybrid ssd/hdd), preinstalled with Windows8. I installed Ubuntu, by formatting first ssd and hard drive in gpatred (live-cd) and then installation. As there are a few problems driver on Ubuntu, I decided to reinstall Windows 8. I installed Windows on the ssd of 32 GB and then I used the hard drive in the home folder. The thing is that Windows 8 is pretty massive and I'm afraid that the storage space on my ssd won't be enough (after updates etc.), currently I have 10 GB of free.

I read that you can RAID to two hard disks to BIOS, and then reinstall Windows. This will decrease the performance of my ssd or is there some properties of my computer that will be the largest part of the operating system during playback of the ssd?

Furthermore, I can't disable legacy support from the BIOS more. If I do this, Windows will not start.

No, I didn't create a recovery disk. How do I create one?

If the system recovery was another partition on my hard drive I I deleted when I formatted my hard disks in Gparted? Who is quite likely to be the case. Check the hard drive to see if a recovery partition is stil present. If this is the case, you might be in luck.

You can buy a t to recovery disk a Partner of HPor HP .
