  I installed Windows 7 Home Premium (OEM one) on my computer and then upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate (also OEM) some time last year. First of all, my laptop's HARD drive crashed, I bought a new one, then I installed ubuntu 14, as I have the installation disc, & then I downloaded Windows 7 one day before yesterday & then I installed on yesterday afternoon.   See if your Bootcamp is actually the version 3 (right click - on Bootcamp) I did a system restore because I had just updated those drivers. But if you did when you got your Snow Leopard, you need to uninstall Bootcamp 3.0 in programs and features.  If you remember, when you loaded Windows Vista first you did not load Bootcamp until after installation has been completed.

  So to remove 3.0, restart, then try to install again.  Let us know how it went.
