'IMPOSSIBLE' to upgrade

Hello

The only legal Windows 7 download available is now Microsoft, as Microsoft has stopped DigitalRiver Windows 7 ISO downloads.

http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery

But Microsoft provides only these downloads for Windows 7 keys from proceeds of the sale to retail, OEM System Builders license No.

You don't say what type of license you have purchased.

Or you can also borrow the same exact retail edition DVD of Windows 7 and use your product key to install.

See you soon.

  • Activator Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade without reloading XP on the system first?

After the purchase of a brand new (without OS) computer I tried to load my software to genuine Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) upgrade I had bought for intended use on my old computer but never charge over there because it was "of the problems' (where the new pc).

Well not that no responsible OS Windows 7 could be installed from the CD on the new pc and worked for 3 days in a satisfactory manner. Now, I get an activation error telling me that the 25 char key is not valid. I checked that the software is legitimate using windows audit but saw on the Faq that the problem may be that MS does not accept my key I did have my genuine XP loaded on the pc before I installed the 'upgrade' (how can you update a pc and run perfectly without the old version being loaded first (for example after a HD format) If you are then obliged to have an older version Windows on the machine to activate it first?)
What I want to know is: if I have the legitimate windows of the keys (Win XP and Win 7 Ult) is there a way I can get windows 7 (currently load and operation) activated WITHOUT having to wipe everything on the HD, load win xp and then 'upgrade' to win 7 all over again?
NB: the pack Win 7 did not state it's an upgrade only.

You could try the activation of the phone and explain your situation, but they will probably tell you to first install a qualifying operating system.

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

  • [HELP] Download Windows 7 Ultimate free > no product key

I recently downloaded a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate edition of a Web site that my friend got it, and it worked on his computer and hes a very trustworthy guy while I lived with her. Later that night, he finished downloading and I was surpised by the looks and when he asked me a key I tried a. None of those that I searched for work and I knew it might be a test, so I tried some keys to the trial and they all failed. And now I can't use my computer because whenever I have system restore will return to the series key position and it is still windows 7. Also, I can't download windows vista edition Home premium on my computer because I have no CD installation also because it came with my computer... So if there is a way around this or return to its original state until I downloaded it please help, I don't want to lose all the things that I had on there because some of them were really important. Thank you

Oh please. If you really believed it was a legitimate copy of Windows 7, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

Back up your data by starting the system with a Linux Live CD (Knoppix, Ubuntu) and copy your stuff on an external hard drive. Then restore your computer to the factory State. Refer to your computer manual or contact technical support of computer mftr. to find out how to do this.

  • When I try to use "Save as" to previously opened PDF I get a new totally white window without any box, nothing.

I usually use the option "save under" which is often offered as an option under the file menu to rename a document.

Recently, I installed Adobe Acrobat DC on my computer. The problem, I founded, is that when I try to use the option "Save as" on a previously opened pdf document I get a new window (here, everything is OK) but this window is completely white, without any box, nothing. One's absolutely imposible to do something with this window. I would like to understand this. Is an installation problem? I tried to use Save as on a single pdf that come from scanned documents.

Thanks in advance for your comments

    Hey IMVB,

You may need to disable the mentioned below the options under ' Edit > Preferences > general ' and then check again.

Hope that helps. Let me know.

  • I have a WIndows 7 Ultimate operating system failure and required a drive for a clean install. I have the product key, but Microsoft offers no English option.

I have a Windows 7 Ultimate active computer that was swarming (STRONGLY) of malware/virus/junk files/adware...

I think I have cleaned out, but want to do a clean to be sure install, but I have no partition recovery (may be erased by a virus?) and no recovery dick.

I went to the Microsoft website and entered my product key.  He has been recognized as Windows 7 Ultimate, but when I had to choose a language, English was not available.

Any solution, or should I continue to use the computer and all hope is clean?

EDIT - I installed the windows 10 (using an ISO image) on Windows 7.  I do not enter the product key when asked (the program said I could jump at this stage of the installation).  Installation went well.

I then checked to activate Windows 10 - it activated without any difficulty.

I will now try a clean install...

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?

If the Vista Ultimate is a full retail product and then install it here.  You may need to use telephone activation, but this isn't a problem.

If it is a Vista Ultimate upgrade version, you must have an operating system that is valid for upgrade and without a preinstalled OS or a license for the new computer "legally" impossible to install the upgrade version.

XP OEM license for the old system died with the old system and cannot be used for the new computer as a qualifier for an upgrade.
