  • Is it possible to adjust the sound volume of Windows to more than 100%?

    Hello

I have a very simple question:

Is it possible to adjust the sound volume of Windows to more than 100%?

I explain why I need to do this:
I can watch DVD files or .avi with my computer and VLC, that allows to adjust the volume to 100%. Some DVDs have a very low sound. So if I set VLC to 200% volume and the system volume to 100%, I can watch movies in good sound conditions. Then, my computer speakers are strong enough for me watching a movie.

However, I have a problem with VSD: I use VOD with Windows media player and that player does not allow me to adjust the sound to more than 100%. So I put the sound of Windows media player at 100%, the sound of Windows to 100%, but the sound is very low.

Please don't tell me to buy speakers, mine are pretty strong, and I find it uncomfortable to plug the speakers.

Please don't tell me to use a software that increase the volume of the file I want to watch VOD.

Is there a way to increase the sound volume of Windows to more than 100%?

Please don t tell me this, please don t tell me that. You want to hear other people's opinions or what?

AFAIK all sound level settings in Windows are synchronized and if you change the sound level in the properties of the speaker at the same level will appear in the Windows for the Volume Mobility Center and the maximum level is 100%. No more than that.

As you already wrote the sound level can be increased in combination with Windows and some players.

Is there any other way to watch these videos, but using WMP?

It is easier to run from the recovery console as it will mean less restarts, but you can go to start, run, type CMD and press ok

in the cmd prompt box type chkdsk c: r, and then press enter

Type a y for Yes to run at the next reboot, and then press ENTER.

Then restart your pc, allow checkdisk run and complete, if errors are found and fixed, then run again until no errors are found.

You can view the report in the event viewer, Applications, Winlogon.

After the last checkdisk you run, then check the most recent errors that are listed after the last checkdisk.

Check if you can restore your PC to factory settings. This reinstall the version of Windows on your PC and remove your files personal, applications and drivers that you have installed, and any changes made to the settings. Go to settings > Update & security > Recovery > reset this PC > start and seek to restore factory settings.

  • Why 'properties' for data C:\users...app... windows show more than 8,000 fles but explores him record shows a few tens of individuals?

The properties of \application data\local\microsoft\windows C:\uers\ (me) includes 48 folders and files 4384. Explore this folder presents the 4 files that are aggregated in 10 cases. Where are the other 4380 files? Folder options are set to display hidden folders.

You really don't want to go play with the system folders, but there is another option when you enable hidden folders appear, to display hidden system files. Even try to show them will give you a warning, it is not a very good idea, so just, 4384 files and 48 folders are hidden because you should not be in contact with them, so do not touch them :)

  • Windows Live mail download 20 000 messages

I just got a new computer and found that as it was windows 7 I could use outlook express, so I started using Windows live mail.

The first day was fine, but the second day (today) he started to download all my old messages from my BT account. I have more than 20,000 messages, and to about 4,000 that I couldn't stop their download I deleted the program.

I tried to go to my bt account to remove, but can only remove a page at a time that will take me forever. I tried to remove the 4,000 or so already uploaded to the account of direct mail but there was a tab "select all."

I do not want to reinstall direct mail, until I know I can stop all my old messages to download. I googled this problem and found a lot of people complain about this, but couldn't find an answer.

    Thank you.

Please, refresh your browser window. When you access your Windows Live Hotmail account from more than one computer, please reconnect help keep your account secure and private.

The forum language is English.  Google Translate says it's:

"I don't know what to do. Can not open my mail, simply enter the email but I can don't mess with mail. The message below, what to do? ».

This seems to be a problem of access to Hotmail.  So, you should ask your question (in English) in the center of Windows LiveHotmail Portalsolutions.

  • Outlook 2010 offline Exchange Server after Windows 7 has been locked up for more than 1 hour

    Hi guys,.

I recently got upgraded to Windows 7 at work. I have rules that run scripts first thing in the morning and then run macros and so I have data ready for when I get into work.
The problem is that when Windows 7 is locked for more than 1 hour for a reason any Outlook is disconnected Microsoft Exchange then it is impossible to retrieve emails and my scripts don't end up running.
What can be done to fix this? When I had XP it wasn't drama leaving the computer locked at night, everything went very well. What has changed for Windows 7?
It's not only Outlook which disconnects it seems all my connections are disconnected however outlook is my main concern.
    Kind regards

    Hi sirot,.

I was sent here from my previous post as they said it was a windows problem. Laughing out loud
in any case, I think I could have solved the problem. I changed the send/receive settings.
In the file-> Options-> advanced. In the Send/received subcategory, click send/receive.
Here, I've changed schedule a shipment / automatic reception from 30 minutes to 10 minutes.
This seems to keep the connection with the assets of the Exchange Server.
    Kind regards

I deleted an earlier version of Acrobat Pro from my computer. Still, I get the same message.

    Hi John,.

Please specify if you have purchased DC Acrobat or Acrobat 11 or upgrade you to the latest patch for Acrobat 11, that is to say 11.0.11 so that we can help you accordingly.

I wonder if you have checked your system requirements before you download Acrobat.

I would also ask to share with you the screenshot of the error message with us.

You could probably uninstall Acrobat using cleaning tool. Here is the link for the same thing.
