  Hello. I just bought a new computer and use the latest version of Firefox. I logged in sync to transfer all my favorites and passwords, but so far nothing has transferred and it has been two days. I opened a session out and back in sync and nothing has changed. I get a confirmation e-mail saying that sync transfers momentarily, but then nothing happens beyond that.

  Is that what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

  you just bought a ReadyNAS 312 but do not yet know about some basic principles.

  I want to use mainly as a backup destination, but also as the main source for backups Crashplan. I suspect that for Linux, you simply create a NFS mount point suitable, but I have not tried. In any event, you don't really need to go with headless on the NAS installation, if it presents the advantage to avoid the need for a separate device.

  With Windows, the name of user and password may be different. Configure you in the Windows Credential Manager. I'm not a Mac guy, but I think that Keychain Apple does the same for network with OS x resources. I think that with Linux, you need to explicitly use the opening of session and password in the mount command (I don't think it's the equivalent of the Windows or Apple Keychain credentials manager).

  Which is what I did. I have an unlimited plan for single computer for the NAS. I use Acronis image to back up the disks of PC 'C' on the NAS and also to use the SIN as a consolidated storage. I have 3 copies local of all (the primary account as a NAS) use and maintain CrashPlan as expensive disaster.

• After Effects (and more) crashing on save directory

  but that won't work because I can't change the settings of these records, and from what I read there is no shortage of others who can't.

  No matter what I windows does not allow me to change any file in my files, users must have read/write permissions.

  However, it seems that my adobe programs don't is loading incorrectly unless I have change permissions to read/write. I think that we all pay a little too much for this software to expect to find a way to hack our own computers to get the programs work.

  Well, just to test things, disable it and try to re-run AE.

  You are the third or fourth person I've seen today with AVG and similar issues. Turn it off, fixed it for them. AVG apparently did some update recently to cause this.

  My group and I are currently working on a compute cloud workflow where customers request a VM and it gets automatically configured using vRO/vRA.  We already have a specification in vCenter for Windows create the local administrator password and join the guest to the area.  We currently built in flow "Clone, with several network adapters and the Windows credential" for most working with hard-coded credentials.  What we have is either find a way to take the custom specification and enter the data that we need to place, or somehow apply the spec together personalised to the VM during the clone process.  I know means 2nd option, we need to go far from the built circulation to create our own, but if it's the only way then so be it.

  It is possible to get a vCenter's existing customization specification and pass it to the customizeVM_Task() method, not sure if there is a workflow of library of ready-to-use for this.

  I found it generally easier to use an object existing specification, and replacing just the settings I want to change a programming than to create a new suit from scratch. You might get some that mistakes a specified parameter was"not correct" back from vCenter, missing a few pieces of the specification.

  Make sure, for example, the number of network adapters configured for the virtual computer is the number of network adapter settings in the book loads.

  Could also contribute to Onyx: click through the process manually and get calls from code and the api necessary... Onyx for the Web Client

• How to import Sites when original DWCS5 does not load?

  DW CS5 running on a windows PC 10.

  DW crashed a day or there is and since then will not restart.

  I tried to rename the Apps-> Roaming etc folder and also delete the preferences in the registry and still no joy getting DW to start (did a scan of the Site Cache and blocks the part way through). Also tried a windows restore to an earlier date.

  So as a test I put in place a new user on my PC and Dreamweaver works for this user.

  Problem is I have about 100 Web sites in the site manager original with the connections FTP and password I would really not like to go back to the top.

  I can't do a form of export the original user, how can I get DW to recognize all xml files that seem to hold my site information contained currently in former users of file user-> %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\sendto-> Roaming-> Adobe-> DreamweverCS5-> en_US-> Configuration-> SiteCache & dws?

  I would like to either get these work on the new user or have the DW on the original user load without crashing immediately.

  On Windows: %appdata%\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe CC\2014.0 Muse (you can type in the path bar at the top of the Windows Explorer window)

  On Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Adobe CC/2014.0 Muse (you can type in the dialog box go to the folder by using shift-command-G)

  Muse uses extended FTP Mode Passive (EPSV). This is the preferred mode for optimal performance, but we find that some hosts have configured FTP servers such as EPSV is not supported or EPSV only works if you are inside the firewall as well as the FTP server. The ftpPrefs.xml file that precedes, turns off EPSV mode. So if this is the problem in this case, implementation of this file should allow you to properly connect and download without errors.
