The extensions folder Addons, although some addons may store additional data in the profile of top-level folder, extensions.ini and extensions.sqlite has the info of addons, places.sqlite holds the bookmarks and history, the prefs.js has Preferences, signons3.txt + signons.sqlite files are needed for the passwords and finally sessionstore.js for tabs.

  Following suggestions from the forum, I made these changes both SP2 and SP3.
  1. disconnect, then reconnect to synchronize.
  2 delete the signedInUser.json file in the Firefox profile folder closed and possibly delete the folder of armor as well.
  3 remove and re-create the account FxA. at https://accounts.firefox.com/settings

  I also reinstalled FF on SP3. Same message, but used to synchronize.

  Offspring again: problem solved!
  Pending a response I connected again to Sync on SP2 and SP3. Same message "Sync" momentarily but no synchronization.
  Then I noticed the menu bar missing on SP3 FF. While fixing that I found your Q & a on how to fix corrupted toolbar - go to Menu/customize and click on "restore default settings".
  Who has accompanied me through the beginning of FF upward. I chose FF as my default again BUT this time on the next step that I choose to use Firefox NOT Internet Explorer. (on my FF 1st installation I chose it is because the choice of FF produces a message that IE cannot complete installation).
  Makes synchronization of SP3 immediately synchronized with SP2!
  Trusting that this hotfix helps anyone with the same issue.

  I have the key to firefox sync (used for synchronization of the former) and everything, but of course it is unnecessary with the new synchronization system. One of my ideas was to connect to my office computer, sync all bookmarks, and then switch to the new sync - but unfortunately being unused for years, it turns out that the monitor was dead, and the graphics card seemed to be roasted (felt like it anyway).

  Any ideas?

  This may not work (Firefox sync isn't a backup system, so this will probably fail), but it's worth a try:

  • Download Firefox 28 of ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/28.0/win32/en-US/ (do not use what anyone other that recover your sync account, it is not safe and should not be used on the internet)
  • Connect to Firefox Sync, download your data.
  • Upgrade to Firefox 33.1.1 (Update Firefox to the latest version)
  • Updated to the new Firefox Sync, synchronize your bookmarks from Firefox, history, passwords, etc.

  After reinstalling firefox I can't use my old Firefox Sync account. I am told that there is no such account here https://accounts.firefox.com and I created a new account with the same email as my old account.

  After some research, I found this https://account.services.mozilla.com/ which I can connect with my old account.

  Now, my problem is that I want to retrieve the information I had in my old sync and I can't find a way to do it.

  In addition, because I lived the problems of severe performance using firefox, I deleted some files in my machine with Firefox (after uninstalling) including what appeared to be the location of the profile for firefox.

  What is really important to me is: how to recover my old Firefox Sync account data or synchronize it with the new Mozilla account?

  Hello, firefox 29 and up is using a different synchronization system which is not compatible with the establishment of accounts in the old versions.

  in this case, you'd probably have to use a workaround and download the version of firefox before 28, turn off the automatic update for the moment (in options > advanced > update), bind it to the old sync account (with user name, password & recovery key) and upgraded after you successfully restore your data in this way...

  Based on this limited information, it is difficult to guess at the real problem.  Here is some basic info, that can help...

  In current iTunes, click the button on the device to access settings of recapitulation of the iPod screen in iTunes.  Here is a screenshot of the upper left corner of my iTunes window, showing an iPod button (circled in red).  Click on this button.

  

  On the settings of the iPod summary screen, it has a sidebar along the left side of the window (below the tiny image and the name of iPod).  In the sidebar, under settings, click on music.  Settings of music from the iPod screen is shown at right.  If you expect that iTunes to automatically sync music when you connect iPod, check mark the box to Sync music.

  NOTE: All songs currently on the iPod that are not in iTunes on your computer, library will be lost.

  Then, set up this screen to tell how to automatically sync songs to iPod to iTunes.  Click Apply to sync.  Further, iTunes automatically updated iPod (when you connect or click sync , if already connected) with changes to the iTunes music library, based on how you set up this screen.

  If you want to manually load (and remove) songs on iPod, back on the settings of the iPod summary screen, checkmark the box for manually manage music and videos].  And apply.

  When I connect to Youtube with Firefox, mode restricts always 'on' and % 95 of Youtube is blocked. It is said: "Restricted Mode is turned on by your network administrator" and I am not able to change that.

  But when I connect with Chrome, I can change the restricted Mode and is not anyproblem.

  I'm the only person who can't use Youtube with Firefox in the family. Other computers is not the problem.

  Gmail doesn't have to be open in a tab. But Firefox must be run.
  Add on has enough parameters to customize it to your liking.

  If it works in Windows safe mode, then you have a problem with other software, maybe a security software or a system driver that runs on your computer.

  It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.
